Love the Gemini's , but can't imagine living with one unmodded for so many years, and an auto too! My TG SL/X manual with two barrel webber and 2" exhaust still couldn't pull the skin off a bowl of custard :P
Great turnout and presented really well. Would love to see any video you have of close up views of some of the vehicles, especially those early Monaro’s 😊👍
Sorry to miss the show, service to the nation again prevented my attendance. Still have my Dad's GTS HQ Monaro which he picked up from Bill Patterson Ringwood on 01 Nov 72 after waiting patiently 5 months for all the accessories to be fitted and unique SS paintouts on a Coupe. Can't wait to put her on loan in the showroom one day knowing Patterson Cheney will be there for a long time yet, Holden On....
What a great show The Gemini is my favourites The coupe I had a sedan in dark green His wife’s car was my wife’s car but hers was bright lime green , we called it Kermit And his gypsy I had a wagon in exactly the same colour 😍😍👍👍
I don't know why the Holden dealers can't get together and build a new model or old model Holden O/S's and sell it in Au under a slightly different name like Holden2 or Holden Dealers, they could get VE's or VF's made in China or Korea with some Aussie content they would sell like hot cakes. the Koreans actually made Holden Toranas back in the 70s for Chevrolet.They could even set up there factories here in Au as an incentive for both countries. it was almost a crime to stop production of Holden's in this country.BTW good show Fletch.
One assault on dignity that Holden lovers will never have to suffer is the electric Holden. In the U.S., we will soon see all of our beloved brands relegated to slot cars. Battery operated turds.
