You know when I was in Gr. 8, I beat up 3 bullies, - boys. They fled, carrying their buddy who now was balling his eyes out. That is just one story. I have always been like this and struggled with guilt as I grew up in a Christian household. The things I did were not Christ-like but in my eyes were justified. Anyhow, this really resonated with me. Thank you Vic for putting this Vedic lesson out there.

I have Rahu in 8th house. Teared up by seeing this video. Whatever this man said is true. I was so patient. but when a child is abused in front of eyes, everything gone wrong in the opponent's life. I felt all god supported me and gods were in line with my genuine anger.
In simplistic terms, Ardra is the Nakshatra of fighting and defeating injustice.
Not necessarily. If it is malfunctioning it hurts innocent people or people who try to help you. And that is NOT justice.

Be careful not to become morally egotistical. The dark side of this star is to make a mistake by wrongly judging others' intentions and whether their actions are actually evil. Anger blinds from self-obsession. Seek justice only once it subsides.
venus in ardra! i’ve never believed in forcing yourself to let go and forgive… no. stand up for yourself and what you believe in. letting myself feel my anger and accepting that has been my saving grace. especially because i have so many jupiter placements i really struggled to accept my angry feelings… but as i’ve gotten older i’ve learned how to let my emotions flow and enjoy the good and the bad feelings, because it’s a blessing it is to be able to feel at all.
My moon is in this placement. that explains why in my mind i always think i can destroy any one who would take advantge of others or me. 😇

Ardra ascendant. I literally mentor narcissists. “The destroyers two arms seek hunters, to destroy them.” This is so literal. 😝🔥💯I sure the hell do kill that ego, with consent of course. The anger I feel is a degree of sensitivity that helps me rapidly identify boundary violations.
I have been taken advantage of a lot and I am always forcing myself to “forgive” and let it go but it always feels like a cop out. I always wondered why I was gifted such rage and assumed it was meant to be used like a lethal weapon to be controlled carefully. This resonates beautifully!!!
It can also be added in this interpretation that one has to be focused to carefully destroy their own habits which hide our disability by some arguments.

Tremendous insight. I have Ardra moon and since I was a child I protected those who were weaker from the people who hurt them, e.g. my brothers bullies and my father when he beat my brother - many more stories like this. The intensity of the rage I felt was really frightening but I believe to this day that I did the right thing. My son also has this placement. I will try to teach him the wise use of this energy. So much gratitude for your wisdom as much that is written about this nakshatra is so dark.

Hey Vic - really like this series. Was looking forward to this one (my moon is in Ardra) but I feel like you missed an important point here - that the destructive force should be also used within and directed towards the 'exploiters' that we carry inside, i.e., the ego nature that would dominate others, the weak and innocent, and that would forego spiritual happiness for material pleasures, etc. That image of Kali is one I've always associated with this internal battle rather than a real, physical one - she cuts off the many heads, many personas of the separate 'I' within, the illusions that separate us from the divine, rather than the heads of real, 'evil' people.
I'm not saying sometimes we won't be called to stand up against the darkness in the world, I believe we will and that it's needed, but that mostly this fight and destructive force of Ardra needs to be directed within - not in a self-hating way, but with a love for the goodness and divinity that's inherent within and that needs the animal ego to be destroyed in order to flourish.

Saturn in Ardra here. I had spent most of my life being terribly afraid of the unvisible forces until one night 6 years ago. That night the "ghosts" paid me a visit. I couldn't see but I could feel my fear and hear the presence. The only thing I could think of was to surrender, open up and listen. The message I got was not heard with my ears but with my mind. It said "we've come to take your ego away". Nothing more, no discussions, no questions asked. Just a relief.
A liberating experience. And life changing, definitely.

Your interpretation is insulting to us, because we like to do something instead of have delusions about doing something like you're suggesting.
When you said to use anger carefully, I was thinking: yes, leave the door open for those who turn around and repent. Like to reflect the destroyers, we destroy them , but always with an open heart not to destroy those, who used to be destroyers and exploiters but are not.
My moon is ardra pada 2. Now I understand why people are so afraid when I'm angry. Some have been scared I was going to snap and be violent. Even if I'm silent.
They said the anger just rolls off me it's an energy and they can feel it from across the room. As a teenager I had alot of rage and would have breakdowns of screaming and rage during the height of my worst years at home when I was being victimized. SO much makes sense now thank you 🙏👏🙌
It seems I can never escape enemies and this is the reason why. In d1, my Sun is in Ardra while in D9, my Moon and Mercury are in Ardra. Much as I hate confrontation, it must be done in order to protect myself and my dignity against harms. What you were saying is so spot on. I keep thinking and striving to become stronger so that in the future I may have the ability to not just protect myself but also others who are vulnerable.

I have been doing so much research on Ardra and Mula and this was awesome!!! Myself and all my childhood friends my age with their rahu in ardra had it really rough growing up but by us banding together we were able to destroy those that tried to hurt us. We are all so close to this day because of what we have endured and overcame together. How amazing!!

My Sun is in Ardra and I am the 9th child born into an abusive family, so I have experienced Ardra's destruction of my personal ego. I've always had Ardra's power surging inside of me and I've used it to vindicate myself and others who are being taken advantage of. My moon is in Mula so, I am really fierce when I get upset about dishonesty and the abuse of power. I am an activist and I LOVE to fight protecting the innocent. I have Mars in Ardra in the 9th house, I've always fought with my father ( Mars aspects my Sun and 4th house), the whole family, teachers and people who try to tell me how should I live (also Swati lagna depicts my need for freedom). But the thing which drives me mad is Christianity, I was raised as a catholic and I was always a child who gets in trouble with priests and people really devoted to this religion to the point that I wrote a book, which tries to reveal how this religion controls and fools the world, hope it will be published this year. And I hate injustice and the laws which exploit innocent people.
I have ardra ascendant. I was raised christian/am christian. I grew up never thinking the catholic church was christian. Heck most of my supposed fellow christians dont understand the trinity is pagan and not to use it over the Godhead. Ive had separate from "normal" church cause churches in general are so cooked.
I have this star in my navamsa several planets. I always turn the other cheek and the exploiters comes after me even more. This video comes at the right time because I’ve been thinking about the person this week.

My sun is in Mula in the 6th house in the D1. My sun is in Ardra in the 6th house of my D9. Both nakshatras are Rudra. It takes a bit to get me there, but once I’ve had enough, I’ve always completely destroyed my enemies. 💪🏼😁
Just learned about the Phalgunis and am now suggested this one, there's a lot of work to do to restore balance between men and women in the West, I think we're missing some of this energy in the equation to restore some of the trust on either side

I'm Ardra sun and Ardra mercury in the 5th house, can someone please tell me if this is a good placement? Cause usually most videos on Ardra seems very negative but so many of my favorite singers and actors have this placement also I was a brahmacari and a seeker so I feel Ardra is a good placement or maybe I'm a bit biased
So I'm just learning. But I saw in another video where he says it is a difficult placement that is thus a spiritual placement. Ones that are difficult give your soul more room to grow. So in the bigger scheme of things I'd say it's good, but also depend on how high the dignity likely is to how it's gonna play out? the Ardra Mula axis is a THING. my ascendant is MULA4 and Bhrigu bindu, destiny point is Ardra3. so essentially there's so much destruction i feel within and it creates such a mess. PLUS, my dad has significant Ardra placements, so the shadow-side, seeing the reflection and feeling the frustration is REAL.

This is crazy, I was incarcerated in my late teens for A&B on a police officer who slapped me. I put him in a hospital while incarcerated I hunted sex offenders 🤷🏾♂️. It's not pretty but it's the truth.

I don't know if you read comments or answer questions, especially on these older posts but I have a question that google can't answer. Do Nakshatras have "cusp" energies? Like say, if the Moon is at 20 degrees Punarvasu does it feel any influence from the Ardra Nakshatra? I may be just too "Tropical" brained but I can't imagine there not being some influence there but I don't know.
nothing in nature (at our level, at least) is digital. everything is organic and analog. So, naturally borders are always fuzzy places.

Where does Sirius fit in on Nakshatras? Most logical place seems like Ardra- howler, but most refs point at Betelgeuse.

yes, the interpretative theory is that the malefics struggle less here, because they have more in common with the basic nature. But Ārdrā is not entirely dissonant with the benefic nature.
