Thanks very much brother for the videos you’re a big help especially since I just turned mechanic part of JTAC local 787. You’re a very knowledgeable mechanic staying humble and learning as much as I can from great people like yourself. God bless!
I like to use a low odor lubricant from crc because your customer will complain about an odor coming from the system . Creating another service call. White lithium grease has low odor. Even 3 in 1 oil out of your zoom spout bottle. Great video man!!
3-1 oil is designed for one machine only sewing machines causes bearing wear on blower bearings and motors because it leaks out where it is needed rotts out motor mounts has a cleaner in it. lithium better for linkages who gave that to you your grandfather?
Thanks for the video just took a classThat included some economizer training and they mentioned that the sensors should not be mounted anywhere where radiant heat or cooling could pass-through where it’s mounted like on an outside wall of the unit and they recommend using these offset stands to prevent heat from the exterior walls affecting the sensors. Thanks again
My biggest question is how do I set my set points, how do you determine the set points for outdoor and mixed air set point like I live in Washington state and how should I set up the numbers, is there a guide I can read ?
53⁰F to 55⁰F mixed air for cooling is usually good. I set the outdoor ambient to ES5. There is a chart in the manual for that is using an enthalpy kit. If it's a sensible kit then I would enable the free cooling to 57ish ⁰F.
@@HVACKnowItAll Thanks for the answer. The customer decided against repairing their economizer because they didn't want to replace the actuator and the control module so they'll just be running the mechanical cooling now instead.
I installed a jade economizer yesterday. I was a bit confused though. Is the display suppose to be on all of the time ? Or is it only suppose to be on when there is a call for Econ?
Honeywell Jade economizers are my go to, love them

I wish I saw this video a few days ago when I had to test out an economizer. Now I can take those things on with more confidence.
Glad to help

Awesome, I appreciate the feedback
I have to covert a unit tomorrow, you saved me.
Great video, thanks for the info! keep the great content coming

Does this work with the old economizer actuator
No, you'll need a new one

good video, is there a minimum Setting by code for that economizer
Min fresh air settings are based on occupancy and space size. The best way to do it is with CO2 monitoring

👍
I sprayed wd 40 one time on economizer dampers and everyone in the building was crying because of the chemical smell
Was the fan on while you did it lol
no, i even waited a while, bunch of women just looking for anything to complain about
@@capitolrefrigerationheatin7501 haha, I know how you feel.
Food grade silicone spray works best. WD and any other oil will attract dirt and could potentially evacuate build.
thats what i use now
