I hate playing against a style like his since it disrupts your own plan/playstyle so much. It's just incredibly difficult to answer if done this well. Like in this match he got more towers then Darius, he made his team do Barons and pushes (yes first 2 nashors failed but that wasn't The Baws' fault). He distracted a ton of players bottom when his team ended. Yeah he got 0 kills but he got the map pressure and wins with it!

What's there to master? There are like 10 of 150+ champs that take more than 5 games to fully learn. If you need more than 2 games to "master" Volibear consider buying some braincells.

Mind you, voli has a very strong early game, so he should be winning most lanes, he just happened to be against an even stronger early game champ and kinda inted a bit AND HE WAS STILL USEFUL, so u can imagine how useful he will be when he does win his lane.

The matchup was just bad because extended fights agaisnt darius who can also heal, have a big dot, gets ad if you let him stack 5 passive stacks and also does more damage with ult the longe ryou fight agaisnt him, just a bad matchup overall be it early mid or late game
if Darius spent half the time he chased him across the map with his team team fighting they would’ve won at 20 mins, people just ignore the pressure baus playstyle creates, they either choose to go kill him for less gold than getting a full wave or lose a whole lane and inhib if they ignore him for 5 minutes. They just see him as an inter but he’s the one that got his team towers. Every second top and jg spend on him is time that kindred has to help every other lane and get objectives. Really shows how baufs got challenger so easily by being an “inter” while almost everyone in this comment section is hardstuck gold

All the people in these comments like 'just ignore him' don't realize how fast their base gets cracked open if you don't constantly send a dueler back to push him out. But they also don't get shit for killing him so the core of this strat is to waste more of the enemy team's time and coordination than he feeds to them, which apparently works
My default is to int my tits off for towers, but what i noticed Baus takes his plays, even if it doesn't look like it. I perma push but he switches lanes, sometimes hides, and sometimes just being a menace on a map for the sake of it. Sure not all plays work out, but he still tries to play around his team to an extent

Also I think the reason that Babus can "int" and out-climb Midbeast is that his strategies involve a lot of solo play, he is able to get objectives without relying on his team for much of anything. Sometimes he can solo carry bad players just through objectives, sometimes he will actually have good teammates that do well in crossmap stuff which just makes it easier. But the one constant factor is just that he's minimizing the opportunity for teammates to completely throw a fight and cause your "good" play to end up really bad. Even if you are 10/0 if you try to teamfight and your entire team chokes and dies around you, there's not much you can do about it.
Those are a lot of words saying its individual play just to describe how its team dif because its a team game

I think the fact that Baus does not give a Schnitzel about dying and instead focusses on objectives makes a big difference in high elo. He most of the time achieves something by dying whereas not even trying and idling seems simply unefficient.
I mean, if you have a bounty you need to be careful, but I had played with so many dogs that run it down in lane and after feeding the enemy they become bitchmade and play safe. Stuff like Nautilus 0/8 not wanting to facecheck bushes for the team or Riven that dies 10 times trying to 1v1 enemy top then freezing under his tier 3 tower while enemy top is taking topside jungle and diving mid

@Midbeast Kidding aside, I'm by no means a high ranked player but have been watching League since Beta and I think "dying more" is actually the right approach for you. Like a lot of highly educated, smart and handsome people you do try to avoid mistakes more than going for the play. Instead of playing not to loose you might benefit from playing to win, even if that means emberassing yourself occasionaly. Your teammates are high level in Masters Korea, but so is the enemy and it is on you to make a bigger impact, even if that takes a !temporary elo loss.
Q is Sprint and CC (stun), W is just a Chomp (with 2nd chomp on same target dealing bonus damage) with 0 CC. Might want to clarify that at some point.
I think what most people don't understand about his strategy is that he almost always draws 2 or 3 ennemy to get him, and he's only worth like 140g at this point. Which in turn make his team free do make plays with nummber advantages, get obj, scale etc : that's why he consistently gets "better team", because they're playing 4v3

Ezreal was too worried about not dying to deal actual damage in fights when it MAY have been better to get in the fight and deal big damage instead, every game I see an ezreal they're practically top damage due to how easy it is to just smack people with q's and w's over and over and over

As a bronze player I am proud to announce that indeed some of the best builds are made down here. Afew years back there was an Ashe build with Botrk, cleaver and huricane and I believe that that build was created by me as i played a couple of games of it a few weeks before it got popular. I have always loved theorising and min-maxing the items and runes in league but never had the mechanical skill to pull it off and climb. So I saw this video. Decided to go Darius in PvP since ranked would be diamond. Went up vs Morgana top. She kept spamming W with Aery so I just stood and outfarm her. E W Q when I could. Pushed tower. Get rift. Ended game while team fought pointless fights for no outcome. 1v2 Yasuo and Lee sin. Ended the game. It was by far the BORINGEST(made a word from playing Darius) game I've ever played. I usually go Divine Sunderer+Black clever but wanted to test Trinity force. It felt weaker and squishier. Divine S. Allows me to burst with the bonus dmg quickly when I EWQ+R.
The entire point is, LEAGUE players are unable to deal with extreme splitpushers.
I play Dota 2 (over 2.5k hours) and League (since season 2), in Dota2 if someone starts hard splitting with a strong 1v1 champion, instead of chasing the entire team will group as 5 and counter push a lane, force a teamfight and literally destroy their throne (dotas nexus).
If we have someone in Dota2 with global abilities / global teleports etc we just teleport over, fight the split pusher as a team and teleport back for a counter push.
League is lacking the ability to QUICKLY deal with a splitpusher due to the nature of extremely limited map traversal.
If you pick a strong scaling semi-tanky Splitpusher, you'll fuck everyone up just because its SO easy to kill towers / inhibs / nexus turrets.
I had games where I went Hullbreaker AP-Bruiser Teemo, was tanky as fuck, started to literally take every single tower across the map and I was chased for half the game and my team just won because all objectives and farm was free.
SETT HULLBREAKER SPLITPUSH IS DISGUSTING.
Splitpushing is inherently strong because League has limited map traversal, thats just it.
I don't think buffing or nerfing champs is the way to stop inting starts here. Just buff the gold or XP u get from kills and maybe ppl will start thinking twice about this.

he climbs doing this because HE DOES NOT MISS FARM, and because he is so efficient at farming it doesn't matter if he dies 1v1. the early death is so get the other laner over confident.
the play at 6 min is the exact reason why he is so good at climbing. we will take that trade all day, and darius lost a ton of xp and gold.

also of course tanks struggle during the durability patch. nothing really changed but the Overall burst dmg. there still is like 6 % health items+runes. basically now it's like "why pick a tank that is tanky, but doesn't really do dmg? why not just pick a bruiser/assassin build them with bruiser items to be tanky, AND do big dmg.
This strategy only works because of BS broken champions. It has low to negative impact early (in this game: fed opponent, no 1st tower, no big cs advantage, only a couple of roams and ganks), it's all in these champs that can't be 1v1 late (see last fight) and need multiple opponents to be dealth with, waveclear extremly fast and take towers in seconds with opponents hitting them.
The strategy would work the same without early deaths, it's just that BABUS has a habit of dying and makes up for it with exeptional macro and making dying worth LATE. Ask yourself this question: if Voli didn't int early, but it happened to do the same play at 24:00 and 25:35 dying and all, would the early feeding have made a difference? no.
bausffs one tricked (played a few other things for sure) to kr challenger. I think if you played taliyah every game and had a 2nd or 3rd pick when taken you would climb too bro. your good at every champ but most people are one tricking to get it from what ive been watching (tfblade-jax, katevolved-kat) idk how tlyer1 will climb playing 30 different champs thats so tilting
