LOL very well spotted Mikhail. I though you may pick up that we didnt have Vodka and were being quite soft drinking Canadian clubs. Have a great night and as always thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks Jared. Yeah it was a ripping location. Very shallow and a little windy but jam packed with decent size fish. Really wish i had more than 1 day there. will need to head back soon.
Thanks !! 8 days down there would be epic. We only ended up spending 24 hours there and the fish we caught in that time was amazing. Cant wait to head back soon. I'm sure you will have a ball.
Good session Alan, worth the drive when the fishing is that good. That 39 was a stonker. I caught my pb 36 last week at Bribie on yabbies. They're get big down there like your whiting. Good work mate.
Thanks heaps John. Yeah the 39cm was a beautiful fish. I dare say if we stayed longer we would have caught more epic ones. Congrats on the 36cm bream, that's awesome.
Thanks, There are a few scattered jetties and you can randomly pick spots along the banks but they are very shallow and weedy. Its a kayakers dream not as easy for land based fishing.
Hi Alan, love your videos catching bream, flathead etc & very impressed with the Diawa Infeet rods. I'm in the market for a two peace only model so i am limited to the 762ULRS the Z 782LFS or the EX 742LRS-ST. I will be shore base fishing for Lake trout using soft plastics. I'm leaning towards the EX 742LRS-ST. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Hi David, Thanks a lot for the positive feedback. I too would be leaning towards the EX 742LRS-ST. I think 7-4 is more than long enough, and the EX rods have far superior feel in the hand. The Z range handles were nice but the handles were really big and thick which I didn't like. Also have a look at the Millers XFLC which is a great option for lake trout with plastics.
Hey mate - Awesome vid. I am thinking of purchasing the 20 INFEET Z 732LFS as my new light rod - What reel do you suggest I should pair this up with ?? :)
Awesome thats a great rod for the price, id prob be looking to match it with a decent 2000 size daiwa reel. Depending on your budget a caldia, Revelry FC, Luvias or Certate.
I need a two piece mid join rod for some bream and flatties and light tackle fish but can’t decide which rod. Was looking at the Infeet ex 742lfs but would be sure if it would be a good all rounder?
This one here slhobie.com.au/gear/kayak-fishing-accessories/1345-slh-folding-kayak-fishing-net i bought it as it fits in the hatch of the kayak when folded up which is really handy. Wish it was a little bit longer, but overall very good value.
Good to see you out on the Kayak again.
Thank you !! Was so nice to be out there
Those place are just beautiful for holidays and fishing.
100% agree. Could have stayed for much longer than one day. Fished and camped non stop and would have been very happy.
Love your simple way of taking your videos , pleasure to watch .Thank you for the enjoment
Thanks Kevin, its really appreciated.
Love bemm!! Special place in my heart that place! Still have my Pb from there, 46cm! Can't wait to go back!!
Wow 46cm is so impressive. Congrats !! I agree with you bream fishing is amazing and there is something special about the Bemm river.
Really enjoyed the video, looking forward to the next part.
Thank you kindly. I imagine you would be a bit of an expert fishing up that way.
That Mullet was huge! Great effort
Thanks 👍 It sure was. One of the biggest and thickest ive ever seen.
Nice boys... 18:09 no vodka....haha...nice seabass...yes yes...Aussie boys no bears in wood...haha...big drinks for you...

Thanks Vinh, we think this one was pretty epic. So enjoy and have a great evening

Good to see the water is up. Yak hunters in nov last year, that "inlet you fished" was almost dry
Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that. We stayed in close just because of the wind but the fishing there was epic.
Heading down there during the school holidays for about 8 days on the yaks hopefully all goes well, great video
Thanks !! 8 days down there would be epic. We only ended up spending 24 hours there and the fish we caught in that time was amazing. Cant wait to head back soon. I'm sure you will have a ball.
Was a great place to fish tbats fore sure. Need to get back there
100% and epic poddy mullet dude

Love the video mate.
Im going up end of jan.
Is there any good landbased fishing spots in bemm river?
Thanks, There are a few scattered jetties and you can randomly pick spots along the banks but they are very shallow and weedy. Its a kayakers dream not as easy for land based fishing.
I’ve been fishing the Bemm when the winds ripped up and it’s been as rough as Port Philip on a windy day
Yeah I can image. This day was only10-15k winds and it seemed like it was much worse. I can only guess what it would be like on 30+ k winds

Which model of the infeet rod were you using ,can't wait for mine
Infeet EX 702, Such a nice rod. I went the EX as i really liked the full air foam handle. What are you getting ?
@@fishingmad ordered the 732lfs in the Z series. Another awesome video mate can't wait for the next one
Thanks !!! Also the Z series 732 is a great rod. I'm sure you'll have some great times ahead with it. What reel are you going to pair it with ?
@@fishingmad I've got a Shimano Stradic 2500, hopefully they go well together 😀
That will work just fine !!!
I need a two piece mid join rod for some bream and flatties and light tackle fish but can’t decide which rod. Was looking at the Infeet ex 742lfs but would be sure if it would be a good all rounder?
Infeet EX 742lfs is a great allrounder so is the 702lfs. new infeet rods hit stores in a few weeks too
@@fishingmad thanks mate
Probably gonna go with the 742 model cuz I need a two piece mid join rod
G'day Alan, ripper brim. I was wondering if you know ho old they are at 39cms
Thanks !! Yeah I believe a 39cm bream would be just over 20 years old, which is fascinating.
Is there any other species, like flathead etc?
100% estuary perch, flathead aswell. Main catches will be bream and thats what we were targeting. Hope that helps
What net are you running alan?
This one here slhobie.com.au/gear/kayak-fishing-accessories/1345-slh-folding-kayak-fishing-net i bought it as it fits in the hatch of the kayak when folded up which is really handy. Wish it was a little bit longer, but overall very good value.
@@fishingmad thought so. 😉
my biggest mullet is 37cm but that one put mine to shame
Yeah that was the Mullet biggest I've ever seen, and the girth on it was massive. Nothing wrong with a 37cm thats for sure.
What real is it
20 Luvias 2000. brilliant little reel.
👍
Thanks !!!
