He likes to emphasize the meaning of the lyrics with his own way musically. He started softly and hardcore switching it back and forth represents nunchucks' property (柔中带刚 = mixture of soft and hard), like nunchucks or taichi, it seems soft but very powerful.

Agree. Tengri’s Heaven is the embodiment of art and soul. No one sings it like he does. But please also check out Hua Chenyu’s cover of Heaven. Hua Hua’s version is totally different from Tengri’s, not as emotional but very beautiful nonetheless, and it shows how talented Hua Hua is to be able to take an iconic song like Heaven and make it his own IN 24 HOURS.

You should have used the video with the English translation of the lyrics by Baby Bamboo. It really helps to appreciate the genius of Hua Hua when you have some idea of the words. The translations aren't perfect but they really help. The same Baby Bamboo site also offers a bunch of other videos by Hua Hua with English translations, as well as other Chinese artists. You should also check out KZ Tandigan (in my opinion the most talented artist of Singer 2018).

Agree. Tengri’s Heaven is the embodiment of art and soul. No one sings it like he does. But please also check out Hua Chenyu’s cover of Heaven. Hua Hua’s version is totally different from Tengri’s, not as emotional but very beautiful nonetheless, and it shows how talented Hua Hua is to be able to take an iconic song like Heaven and make it his own IN 24 HOURS.
I agree, he is a highly respected singer in China, my generation growing up with his music, we listened his "heaven" so many times still get touched. By the way Hua covered this song once, he rearranged it, sounds completely different, but beautiful too.
This show provided many wonderful live performances not just this year, this is another one I want to recommend to you, it's recognized one of best of this program in Chinese mind.

You should have used the video with the English translation of the lyrics by Baby Bamboo. It really helps to appreciate the genius of Hua Hua when you have some idea of the words. The translations aren't perfect but they really help. The same Baby Bamboo site also offers a bunch of other videos by Hua Hua with English translations, as well as other Chinese artists. You should also check out KZ Tandigan (in my opinion the most talented artist of Singer 2018).
