Some voices , once upon a time ...the way they modulated them, paying careful attention to diction and enunciation , lent a certain elegance to their speech and was a pleasure to listen to, as was the case with Roshan Menon, Melville de Mellow, Surojit Sen Lotika Ratnam ,Pamela Singh and Rini Khanna.
Now its a thing of the past.
Today , what we hear is a mutilated version of English , laced with thickly coated regional accents...that makes you want to flee.
Carmel ,if you did a voice over for documentaries or did story telling sessions for children, it would be a great initiative..
For those who tune in, it would help them to appreciate the importance of stressing on vowels ,and also never to swallow consonants .
Spoken English today is such a disgrace.

It is nice house . It’s just a beginning ,you can add more ideas to it. But I am very disappointed with the garden, after hearing you say you love plants. There are so many interesting plants these days , but I find very boring plants here.
