It's all good. Muted colors, quaint looking day bed n coffee tables. Very unusual decor. I especially liked the bookshelf n TV unit. Great idea. Though I must say the fireplace, faux though, was a little confusing. But the important thing is that every home must reflect the personality of people living in it. If they love it then it's all good.
No heavy artefacts or accessories. Just this house describes something out of the box. Colour palette is so soothing and am in love with the furniture.

Nice house.I liked that you painted some shelves and tables yourself.I personally like dark curtains which block out all light and make the room absolutely dark,but then each to his own.

lack cohesiveness in decor. you need to learn a little bit more on how to integrate your purchases to the theme that you mention. copying is not a bad idea, but try to give your own thinking to enhance the look with an identity of its own. as a beginner, you have tried your best so congratulations. but work a little bit harder to make your efforts speak.
