I used to go to theme parks alone all the time. I know how you feel. Single rider lines, go where you want, no arguments on what to eat, its not bad. It's better than waiting months to go and possibly not going at all because you are waiting for somebody to go with.
Yeah, I went alone to King's Island once. 30 yrs. ago, I went up to Six Flags Great America by myself. Coincidentally, the very first roller coaster I was in line for, I heard my name and saw someone that I used to work with! I ended up spending the rest of the day with her family so I didn't have to be alone. Crazy!
For me it would depend on the type of park. If it was coaster heavy like Magic Mountain or Cedar Point, I would go by myself in a heartbeat. If it was theme heavy like Disney World, I don't think I'd have fun by myself. In general though, the only thing that sucks is not having someone to talk to in line.

@@arcticwolf8150 yeah, they don't want to go on the same rides, or they brin small kids who want to go on kiddie rides, or someone in the group has to stop every 20 minutes to use the bathroom, or the group decides they want to eat and then proceeds to sit for a whole hour at the lunch table, or some of he kids want to stop and play games... AND, the worst part of all, the group you go with is fucking TWO HOURS LATE getting ready to leave for the park! The only way to get on anywhere near all the rides you want to get on, is to go by yourself. Period.
The part where you sit down and just chat with us is so chill. It actually feels like a conversation. You are super underrated. Cant wait to be able to go to theme parks one day. I've only been to a few my whole life. I'm glad you are experiencing what many of us wish we could and i'm glad you took us along!

I'm so glad that you validated my feelings about it (even though it's been MANNNNY years since I was traumatized by that ride). Never again, for sure!!
There's something really cool about your ability to just go somewhere like this totally alone and be cool with it all day...a lot of people couldn't do that even though they might want to because they have nobody else to go with or whatever. You don't see a lot of this on UA-cam and it shows people that you absolutely can have fun on your own. I'd be spending the whole day thinking ..... "well this is depressing" and just overthinking it. You make it look totally normal, as it should be.

U are so lucky! When I went to six flags magic mountain May 29, 2023. It was SO PACKED! I only rode: Jet stream, Twisted colossus, Gold rusher, full throttle, New years evolution, Viper, and then West coast racers. I had fun. But only got on 8 rides! I hope u had fun!😊😀😃

This is the type of guy who doesn't post videos for likes. He does it to take his viewers along with him on fun journeys like this one, and the fact that he sits down and talks to the camera makes me feel like I'm talking to an old friend. 😊
I used to love going to six flags alone!!! You’re kind of just doing your own thing, walking around exploring, choosing what to go on and how many times, etc etc.
My favorite parts of rollercoasters are first, corkscrews and then twists, but the best is when they are combined together. Riddler's Revenge gets my top vote followed by Twisted Colossus. Twisted gets such a high score for a wooden rollercoaster having such a steep drop and those following crazy twists that go back and forth. It scores more points for having a two rounds that twist with the double helix of tracks. Wooden coasters are such a rush because they create so much noise with rickety clacking that doesn't give you 100% confidence that the ride is safe and you're going to survive! LOL!
I 100% agree with you on finding the good days to go to parks. I go with my family to Busch Gardens Williamsburg every year at the end of summer break because it is in a different state and the breaks are different. It still has people, but with the fast passes, you can get on rides hella quick

I'm a truck driver, I had down town in dallas texas and I went to six flags over texas alone. I gotta say that going alone is so much better.

The tall thing next to tatsu was a skylift mostly used for a view of the park it was shut down early 2008 due to the elevator not being up to code

My favorite parts of rollercoasters are first, corkscrews and then twists, but the best is when they are combined together. Riddler's Revenge gets my top vote followed by Twisted Colossus. Twisted gets such a high score for a wooden rollercoaster having such a steep drop and those following crazy twists that go back and forth. It scores more points for having a two rounds that twist with the double helix of tracks. Wooden coasters are such a rush because they create so much noise with rickety clacking that doesn't give you 100% confidence that the ride is safe and you're going to survive! LOL!
I 100% agree with you on finding the good days to go to parks. I go with my family to Busch Gardens Williamsburg every year at the end of summer break because it is in a different state and the breaks are different. It still has people, but with the fast passes, you can get on rides hella quick
honestly apocalypse was one of my favorite rides and its not sketch all it os is to make you feel alone and to give off an apocalyptic vibe
