My mom has this docking station and she absolutely loves it! I think I’ll also pick one up for myself because it seems like a really good price point for me.
Matt is actually about to get a couple of these docking stations after seeing your review, so he asked me to do some research on them first. It looks like it could really suit the whole family and fit right into our home set-up!
I absolutely need to grab one of these for my sister Becca, she will totally use it non-stop! What a perfect birthday gift idea, thanks to this awesome 911studios video!
We are absolutely ordering that Cabletime docking station today after watching your review! This seems like a high-quality item that won’t break easily.
So, I stumbled upon this video while watching another review channel. You totally remind me of unbox therapy, but honestly, I’d say you’re a bit more energetic and truthful in your takes. Just had to say, I’m defintely buying this product!
I have only had this docking station for a couple of days but love it so far. I have a M2 macbook air that only has the ability to use 1 external monitor. This docking station allows for a total of 3 external monitors. The first monitor needs to use HDMI. The 2nd and 3rd monitors can use either display port or HDMI.
I have three of these docks that my company is using with M3 Macbook pros. They work great with dual and triple monitors. I ordered three more for some M4 Macbook pros we just received. The new docks are labeled as a Pro version while the previous docks I received are labled as a Max version. The Pro version does not work with the M4. We tried all of them and the screen blacks out every few seconds with a dual or triple monitor setup. The M4 works great on the previous docks we received that are the Max version. The only difference I can see between the two models I've received are the Max version of the dock includes a 180W power supply while the Pro version is 160W. With the 180W power supply, the M4 has no issues connecting. Other than the discrepancy in the models, the Max 180W dock works great and has been in use for over a year. I took one star off due to the recent models received.
Handles All My Devices: This docking station has more than enough ports to connect and charge everything I use daily-my DAC/amp for headphones, speakers, mechanical keyboard, webcam, and mouse. It even allows me to charge smaller devices like my Oura ring, smart watch, and wireless Bluetooth earbuds without cluttering my desk with multiple adapters.
I absolutely love the attention to detail on this channel. Can anyone tell me the weight of this docking station so I can know what to expect? Thank you!!
I have two computers. A Lenovo Thinkpad (PC) laptop and a MacBook. The PC didn’t require a driver. It was genuinely plug-and-play. But the MacBook did require the driver. I plugged it in and it didn’t work. (Actually, let me specify that. The other aspects of the dock worked, like the audio and USB ports. Just the screens didn’t work.)

I was kinda worried about wear and tear on it. How long do you think this will last with regular use?
Is it possible to get these in bulk at a discount? I think this would be a great item for resale since I am a reseller!
Quick question, where do you store this when you aren't using it?? It really looks like something I will be getting soon!
