glad you got on here! i commented (then deleted) before finishing the video when he talked about the spotify battle station one and i was just thinking of you when he said 'how many monitors do you need?!"😂
MrGregles is absolutely insane - I don't know how I haven't seen his streams before now! I vibe more with a minimalist set up, but I am absolutely blown away
What I am looking at during streaming isn't important. It's what's behind me. The rgb, the huge 73inch screen, the $15,000 sports bike and shelves with gaming stuffs.
Greg's set-up gives me anxiety. There's just too much creativity, too many possibilities. I wouldn't even know where to start. This is a compliment btw. I just get overwhelmed thinking about his set-up lol.
The madness on Greg's stream is unreal. And he builds the OBS scenes to pull that madness off.. ON STREAM! I have learned so much from him and then the tunes, just the vibe, love his set up, love his streams, met the man this year and he was a pure gent. Go follow him!
Wow so many different styles and so much inspiration in this video. I’d love to see more like videos focused on design. I’m especially interested in the smaller room/spaces. Great video, Harris!
Wow, thank you so much for featuring me in the video! I'm down to jam anytime 🤘Oh - and the cameras are (from left to right) : Canon EOS RP, Canon EOS R, and Sony FX3. I didn't copy you at all, I swear.
I love the wood on black. I also really like the brown couch with wood slab décor above. That shot looks like an excellent space for kicking back and chilling. Completely agree on the whiskey glass fixture.
My favorite aspects that I saw were the rooms that looked day lit, the brighter lighter colors that made it not look like a basement cave. Plus the one TV on the rotat8ng mount in the anti-battleship one where you could move it back for more lounge gaming.
Love that your doing a video like this. Seeing other peoples setups gives me thoughts & ideas for when i'm going to be able to do a proper one for myself. Also, I follow Astronuggie on UA-cam & her setups are always beautiful & simple.
As a stay at home dad that has to work from my recliner in the living room where my kids hang out during the work day, I'm currently trying to brainstorm a streaming setup that works in such an environment. My current solution is my gaming/work laptop on a Levo G2 rolling laptop stand. Eventually I would like something along the lines of a dual monitor or single ultra wide mounted some kind of long articulating arm that can move in all kinds of positions and be stowed out of the way when not in use. I would probably have the camera mounted to this monitor setup as well.
Mr Gregles hands down has the coolest setup on twitch I have ever seen! Ya some people have amazing stream rooms, but the setup and use of all is cameras in chefs kiss
I do love the setups where one is for pc and then the console station is next to it or nearby. Sometimes you just want to kick your feet up and play a chill game on the couch.
As Albert Einstein once said: A thing isn‘t perfect, when you can’t add any more to it, but when you can’t take anything away without sacrificing something. Therefore, I value those perfectly arranged setups in tiny spaces a bit more than those bombastic gear overloads. Therefore, my favourite is Harry Potter’s at 8:30. No doubt, this is not only perfect for streaming and video conferencing in terms of quality, but it is also very pleasant for the viewer. Congratulations! Well done.
Thanks for fearuring my setup too Harris, and yes I keep my room that tidy all time :) And I am not sure you would fit across, but the room is 2,5 m wide.
the tight room set up looks awesome I don't have a big office and need to optimize my space like they did! Awesome Video I only have two monitors so seeing the 4+ monitor set ups are crazy! The one you saved for last was wild! I wonder how much they totally invested in it? I felt your pain when you said the his and her set up lol grabbed my heart with ya lol! The clean minimalist set up was so clean!
My space typically stays clean. I might let a day max two have some cans or some mail/ paper. Normally I wipe down my desk and monitor every other day and dust the room like once a week since I live in an older house and gets a bit dusty quickly since i need to have the air vents/ ducts cleaned
Long the white setup at 3:17 because in couple years time i will build my own with standing desk and this uses couple things i already planned but also couple inspirations. GJ internet person
My current setup is a laptop on an old dining table with my 3 brothers' laptops sitting around on it, with a coffee table off to the side with a PS4 and Home Theatre System on it, with a 50" TV on the wall. 💀This filled me with equal parts inspiration and awe, and equal parts shame.
Great video... So jealous because my setup is in my dining room. It's all the space we have... MrGregles has a phenomenal setup. I don't think anyone should try to repeat it lol, but it is a great example of how your setup is only limited by your imagination (and budget, of course)
“Elgato you should make a slider” is the best bit of this video. Their build quality x simplicity x software features would be crazy. Recall preset movements/positions with StreamDeck or stream actions. I’d buy that. Various length options, maybe even a curved section. If it was modular even better. Direct Drive… Could be used vertically too…
As someone with cats, if I can find that floating guitar rack and make it lockable - that's what I'm yanking. That and I NEED to cut into the side of my desk for a monitor mount. And RGB is cool but I should paint my walls first
As I am currently building my studio I'm digging a piece of each setup!! I can not wait to share my ideas with others someday (even after I fired the contractor yesterday) lol 2023 will be something new and exciting!!!
Hey, I'm glad that you like my setup (7:44). I don't drink alcohol but I will buy a bottle of whiskey so you have something to drink if you hanging out in my room and im not at home. :D
I know some people use 7 monitors for day trading stocks. And they probably just use it for fun the rest of the time. They definitely don’t need it but it does help
I want a bigger room to build up my station better. My setup worth around 6k but I want to upgrade a few things and change things around and I just don’t have the space. And I know people make things work in a small area but what I want requires more sadly or I can sell down size and upgrade more of the core aesthetic idk so many options
I'll be blatantly honest, I'm not a fan of the monitor spam, I am however a fan of minimalism, not in the boring way but in the resourceful way, because the former is exactly why people say they don't like minimalism. So that being said, the Minimalist here is one of my favorites just for that alone.
@@stonalisa3729 Minimalist setup owner from the video here 👋🏻 I use two monitors because I stream, using one or an ultra wide is just not practical for me
idk about 7 monitors but for example im pretty loyal to imacs, i got that screen hooked up to another monitor for screen extensions. then id play xbox on another screen. but now i want a gaming pc so stream on so that’s another two more monitors. so 5
One thing I’d like some clarity on that I never see anyone talk about (I don’t even know if it’s possible) is spatial audio capabilities for pc. Surely, I have to get a tv with eArc, but I’m unsure where to go from there, but I feel like that’s the last puzzle piece missing for pc gaming.
What's your favorite thing you saw here??
Harris since I'm first I think it's fair u PayPal me 20 dollars for one of those cheap capture cards 😎😎😎
You
that amazing intro 🙂
The clean setup.
I need to get my space finished so I can have it finally clean.
My favorite wasn't on the vid
Always an honour to be included in one of your videos Harris! Glad you like the setup 😉

Those are all beautiful! Always love astronuggies setups she's queen of rgb.
But my fav is the minimalist one, because that's what I rock haha
Mr Greg is the reason cameras and streaming stuff were so hard to get and expensive during covid lololol
I love the little tiny space made into the great gaming center like makes it so out world, private.
Merry Xmas to you, your family and your team. Thanks for all the amazing content throughout the year. Cheers. 🎄👍
WOOOW I've always love Harris' content but this was *chef kisses* unbelievable
