It's a shame the vast majority of Cabal players do not have the knowledge of these deceptive numbers. I say the same thing from the first day that this feature appeared in the game, it should not be taken as a literal meter of a character's strength, ever. It's just a generic measure and not a bit accurate. It gets even worse when I see people comparing different class strengths based only on their AA, or when they ask if they can do "x" dungeons with that AA or how many points they can score in the nation war. I have seen players using DEX beyond what is necessary for the class, only to have a free AA increase, and to be proud of their positions in that useless Cabal Ranking. This kind of thing only leaves the player more alienated to the game, living from illusions in the form of inaccurate numbers, judging the characters and creating disagreements when someone considered "weak" (aka low AA) is able to do certain things better or more efficiently than another with higher AA. The game has become a competition of red numbers and blue numbers. Well, I hope this video will change the thinking of some players and bring back the beautiful essence of the game where it was necessary to do tests and more tests to know what is best for each character and not just look at a boring number.
yes although i agree those stats are deceptive and we cannot judge any player base on that . but people frequently ask how much attack pwoer or defennse power we needed to complete such dungeon? and this two stats are there to answer that question , in order to give them idea how to survive such dungeon , if these gets removes we wouldve to say you need blade +15, crystal +15, arcana of chaos+15, etc instead of saying u need this kind of aattack or defense power . Just saying :)
Surprising analysis, I liked it a lot although I could not understand everything (I have a low English in reading). Many of the things you teach in your video are true. Not long ago to change my passive ability to an Attack Rate, he said incredible raised me 700 points, but after thinking about it I said it does not affect anything in the damage, it's just precision. Woah this is very good, and quite coincidence, it was just yesterday February 07 here on our country, I tested my equipments from my lvl 200 to my lower level character, one of the main highlights I want to mention is about my bike which is a Pw5 with a 50 epic and 2 slot penetration with 1 EU and 9 Du. When my Lvl 200 wore my bike there is an increase around 421 AA buy when I tried it on a level 166 there was just an increase of 158 AA which made me realize that there must be an effect from level or stats of a character. With this video it made me know more that my theory might be right, I wore the same equipment but there is no same increase from bot AA. Anyway I salute you for making this very good video! AHOY!
In my opinion, Attack Power is the overall evaluation of the characters strength. It does not necessarily mean higher attack power = higher damage . There are other factors involved (time, critical chances,hit chances, and etc).. For example character "A" has 100 attack and 200 attack rate and character "B" has only 50 attack and 1000 attack rate.. Surely "A" can do more damage than "B" BUT, if they were to attack a dummy/monster for a period of (time) let's say 1hour.. "B" could produce more damage because "A" kept on missing the target.. (ATTACK POWER AND DEFENSE POWER) cover's a lot more subject than I could imagine, I cannot get closer unless I can finally figure out how is the DAMAGE "actually" calculated.

And suprisingly in COPH, they make use of these AA/DA as measures for you to join their party dungeon runs, example they shout on megaphones they need a member with 7k+ AA in order to join the party in EoD B3F, and for me, these people mainly base character power to these numbers 😅
How is going, so i wanted to give my input on AA, since i have been ddoing theory crafting on the matter for at least a year. I play in Cabal NA, and AA and DA scale completely differently depending on the stats u have. The stronger you get the more AA and DA a certain stat gives youu, for example 1 CD gives me 60 AA, and 1 amp gives me 112 AA when back then they would give me 40, and 90 respectfully. it also depends on stats, some staats compliment others, so theres no for sure way to figure out exactly someones true strength by AA/DA. Not to mention, some classes are able to attaain aa easier then others, and some DA, so whenever i consider AA/DA comparisons i consider class vs class, there shouldnt be one threshold since every class is different.

While I agree that not all AA is the same, thinking that certain stats are useless (as a lot of commenters also believe) is wrong. When you're running in ft3 and dungeons similar you will see the difference that attack rate and accuracy make. They are much more desirable than the passives for defense or defense rate if your gear is at high tier then you don't need more defense.

He probably meant that different regions have different episodes currently applied to the game. For example KR has the newest things, GSP is 1 update behind and EU is still in the stone age. Newer updates usually add new stuff to the game, new items, class rebalancing (improvement, that is), etc...

for that specific ego boost ppl add tons of attackrate just to show more ability, even tho its worthless for 99% of what you doing. for example 2 attackrate = 2 accuracy = 1 attack ability so, adding both attackrate passives gives you 1000 attack abilty, even tho you dont hit more XD
also, the comparison from amp and rate/mcr is not quiet correct. a person with full amp slots ending up with 65 +/- rate a person with 2xamp 1x mcr slots can end up with 75+ rate those 10 rate are a magnifficent difference, compared to the 20 amp more yet 20 amp gives way way more attack ability than 10 rate ...
Just cause you play broken trashcan bm2forever bl that doesn't require attack rate cause he gets million of it while on bm2 doesn't mean other classes don't need it. Go change class or make an alt like WI and WA, reset your merrit and dont take atk rate/acc tree and enjoy blocking half of your hits. Please do that and go do some dungeons without having 2x atk rate passives and you'll change your mind. For weaker players that dont play BLs but things like WI and WA that especially lack merrit tree with atk rate/acc having two of those passives is a gamechanger, so don't humiliate yourself further because its better to hit bit less/have less def but if you e.g block even 4-5 hits per bm you lose so much damage imagine how much more you would need to crit to make up for it, just do the maths and fyi people tend to block bit more than 5 hits per bm in some cases its really can make you rip your hair off when out of 10 hits you block 4-5 times. Maybe it doesn't increase your damage as you said with pure numbers, but if you get few blocks your overall damage you do in x time will drop drastically, and some classes unlike BL do have issue with it hence why so many people use it. And fyi its not my opinion, few people with 30-40~~aa range agree with me, just in case you decide to say anything.

Can you explain why a cannon with more than 250+ atk from skills vs a 11% more amp are almost the same? I am also having an impression that a cannon is better than transcendanse with huge atk with 2.5k with 96 amp vs a cannon with 280 atk 106 amp x2 bcos of its cast time. Are skill atk separate from character atk cos that huge atk from skills doesnt make sense. I am having doubt if a 60 atk options from bike wont do any better ofc amp option is greater but currently its my best choice for now.
No I cannot because the formula for calculating things like that was changed several years ago and since then only the developers have known how to calculate anything. But I suggest using lances instead of cannons.
Hello Master Watchman which is a better weapon option on 3slot - 2msa 1cdi - 2cdi 1msa - 1cdi 1msa 1rate I've switch from blader(too OP on equipments can't afford) TO WIZARD(fast and damage a lot)
My vote goes for Crit dmg craft, 7 rate in 1 slot and 24% dmg in the other 2 slots. 2 weapons and a helm with the same build and you can easily achieve 60+% rate.
Dino Almocera depends what u want. For dungeon go 2 cdi, 1 msa if u have enogh rate. For war 2 msa 1 cdi since tons of players got rcr build. Also depends on ur crit rate too
Attack directly increases your damage. Attack rate increases your chance for a successful hit (note that using combo makes sure your hit is successful). Both are important, but attack rate will eventually become "useless" if every hit already connects (+ while using BM2 you get a whole bunch of it so it's almost impossible for your attacks to be blocked).

What is it that you're farming daily, and how hard is it for you? How strong are the people you play together with? 2:20 sorry but that argument is wrong. Effectors simply dont effect AA normaly because they effect just the AoF buff when its used. (Use perfect AoF and low one to compare the AA when used) On the next Episodes with the new pet slots, ‘increase aura time’ is one of the beat option what will rise the AA visually. So the increased BM time sure is a legit way that it gives high AA because someone who has 10 seconds more of BM does more dmg obviously
You still don't use battle mode all the time, and besides, using battle mode temporarily increases your AA as well. So what's the difference between that, and effector? :)

Well you get the stats for increased duration of bm/aura only when you use aura, which isn't always (and the duration increase is added by an equipable item too). Neither if using short skill with effector but it's the same story, or I really don't understand what you're trying to say.

Charm change that Stat pernamently for 10 seconds(as value) while stats from effector are added to stats only when you use for example elemental enchant. my current attack rate is 4250 im thinking about increasing it adding attack rate to my armor since the scrolls are pretty cheap but everybody tells me this is a waste of an item, according to this video is not i mean i was at war the other day and found this Blader i was on 3d BM using art of force control buff plus earth aura plus war potions and i could not land a single hit on him just MISS after Miss after Miss.
That attack rate is indeed very low, however I don't think the right solution to that is adding att rate slots to your armor. Try reworking your passive skills, obtaining higher grade weapons, upgrading rune, maybe merit later on, etc...
This happend to my warrior character. I'm newbie btw. I keep on missing my attack while on bm2 on lake in dusk last boss. And it's so annoying like wtf

I found out about this when I was changing bracelets my new bracelet gives me less aa but more damage.

There are some Servers where e.g extreme is giving 1.5 the stats compared to other servers, so yes.

here in COPH, some of my guildmates even swaps their defrate passive for attack rate for that +1000ap which is absolutely useless.
