Genuinely, I think every spotter and every spotter save is amazing, even if it's a normal slip and the spotter saves you, they've already saved someone from possible injuries, permanent scars and even more😭
Last one was going to hit the ground completely braced for the impact an was safe on her own . Had her hands out an everything but the spotter was slow to react and by the time he did he was unneeded
@@9justgamingno, even if she was prepared she could have gotten both arms broken, hitting the ground at that velocity. He slowed her fall and prevented her from taking heavy impact.
Yeh - he saved himself & her again at the end. He transferred the momentum from the first catch in his flip over top of her. That was extra amazing. Great reflexes & thinking.
These videos show 2 things. #1. How utterly fearless these athletes have to be in practice if they expect to perfect it during competition. And #2. How crucial it is to have top-notch spotters who have lightening fast reflexes to be able to react, lunge, lurch. catch, and save these flying bodies. What an important, stressful, difficult responsibility they have. And how rewarding to know you are preventing harm in such an immediate and tangible way. Bravo to Everyone !!!!!! 🤗👌👍👏💪🙏💓
3) the level of trust they have on these spotters. They can take risks knowing these guys are fast and strong enough to grab em. No matter how awkward or small their hold is.

Thay don't , but it's better to spot when you didn't need to than it is to not spot when you needed to. ( spotting is the term used for breaking their fall , normally with those pillows)
The coaches usually has been doing this for years ( my coach was a former gymnast) and 9 times out of 10 they will know if they need to spot you. Also spotting means catching you, throwing a mat (not PILLOW) in, or jus helping you in somthing
Spotters observe for certain mistakes in movements, body posture, etc. And if seen, they get ready to take action. (Ik someone who is a spotter btw thats how I know)
