I’m the same with bread buddy I’ve only gotta look at it and put weight on but I’ve found a sourdough bread that Tesco’s sells it’s a high protein bread and yes it’s expensive but it scratch’s that itch for bread
Hi Craig, we're in the same boat are we mate when it comes to bread. It's just so moreish and I find it certainly effects my weigh in on a Saturday if I have just one slice of bread during Monday to Friday. It surprising doesn't take much. I glad you found a bread that helps with your cravings. Thanks for leaving me your message mate, it's always good hearing from you. Speak to you later, enjoy the rest of your week. Take care and stay safe, Stu.
A loss is great. I know it’s a challenge when you’re out of your normal routine. The weather is finally starting to cool down here. I got in some good steps yesterday. Have a safe trip! Take care. When you mentioned Germany, my first thought was Spaetzle! Now that’s a weakness of mine. Lol have a great week, Robin
Hi Robin, I do find it challenging going on business trips and being away from my normal routine. It generally doesn't work out well for me on the weighing scales. Spaetzle looks very nice, but I didn't have any of this during my trip to Germany. I did make the best food choices possible, mainly salads. I'm glad the weather is cooling down for you and that you're continuing to fit in walking when possible. You're setting a good example. Thanks for your continued support and your supportive message, that always does mean a huge amount to me. Enjoy your up and coming week, speak to you later. Take care and stay safe, Stu.
@@StuUnwin omgosh! I LOVE Spaetzle! So amazing comfort food! I’m making in soon! Lol I’m such a soup person. I made some pumpkin squash soup for dinner last night. The cooler weather is so much more comfortable for me. My walking has tapered off, but I’m still trying. Have a great week Stu! Take care, Robin
I would try crunching numbers on your calories mid week so you still have time to do course correction instead of waiting until the end and just seeing where the numbers fall. Good job on your loss. Keep your chin up.
Hi Suzy, I'm inputting my calories consumed on a daily basis, so I generally know that I'm sticking within my daily allowance. It's my unrestricted Saturdays (treat day) which has been throwing my weekly average calorie consumption above my overall target. It's an area that I know I need to improve. Thank you for taking the time to leave me your supportive message, that really does mean a lot to me. Enjoy the rest of your week, speak to you later. Take care and stay safe, Stu.
Hi Angie, welcome to my channel and thank you for taking the time to leave me your supportive message, that truly does mean a lot to me. I'm very happy I've managed to lose the amount I have so far on my weight loss journey. I must admit, I expected to be further along and weigh much less than I currently do. But my journey hasn't been perfect and it's been challenging, just like what most people encounter when needing to lose weight. But I'm still determined and positive I will lose all of my unwanted weight at some point in the future (hopefully near future). Thanks again for your message, enjoy your up and coming weekend. Speak to you later, all my best. Stu.
Go pie chart go, you can go green! Hopefully you can get some good healthy food in Germany. Would you mind sharing what carbs you ate instead of bread? (I'm simply curious as to what you had.) I know that lately I've found that bread bloats me too, YUM bread, so have been having less bread but more potatoes and legumes and fruit instead for some of my bread portions per day. Funnily enough, adding a piece of fruit every day has curbed my sweets cravings too/ (Unless I'm hormonal and then all bets are off!)
Hi My Midlife Musings. Yeah my pie chart has been hovering at the top within the blue for a while, it would be nice to nudge it back over into the green. I did do my best on making the best food choices possible whilst I was in Germany. Bread is one of my main weaknesses, whenever I eat some during the working week (Monday to Friday) I nearly always see a weight gain result on Saturday morning. If I eat one or two packets of crisp during the week that can have a negative effect on my weight at the end of the week. I enjoy a jacket potato with my meals, but I personally find even having these during week can result in a gain result for me. It's typically always all the foods I really enjoy that end up gaining me weight. haha. Yeah easily eat 5+ portions of fruit and vegetables every day. Which is good, because I'd rather fill up of the green stuff rather than the beige stuff. haha. Thanks for your continued support, that really does mean a lot to me. Enjoy your up and coming weekend, speak to you later. Take care and stay safe, Stu.
If you want loose weight, eat only fatty beef steaks or minced beef meat. Do you like steaks ? Can you afford it ? And eggs, as much you want, some better salt, Himalayan, Celtic Sea Salt, drink lot of water. Because loosing weight is not about counting calories, its about eating things that will not allow you to gain weight. Your body wil correct weight automatically, but you must eat what you need to eat. Fatty meat, pork, lamb, lot of fat, fatty beef is best. Dont be scarred, fat will help you loose weight, not carbs.
Hi m33265, yeah I do enjoy a nice steak every once and a while. But I don't enjoy eating fatty meat, I nearly always trim the fat off. I just don't like the taste of it. So I never end up eating any of the crackling, if I end up having a roast pork dinner. I agree with you losing weight isn't about counting calories, but it is a good indicator to how my week as gone, in turns of consumption. Thank you for taking the time to leave me your message, that really does mean a lot to me. Enjoy your up and coming week, speak to you later. Take care and stay safe, Stu.
Hope your weight loss journey isn't difficult. Unhealthy food's the devil. There's no point weighing in if u r too conscious of your DAILY WEIGHT. It's water weight if u get fat sometimes. Be happy if u r overweight if u can't control.
My weight loss journey is challenging, I'm not going to lie. I certainly don't find it easy, but most people don't. So I'm not alone in that respect. However, it's a challenge I'm wanting to succeed at and I don't mind if my journey is slow, as long as I'm continuing getting closer to that finish line. Thanks for taking the time to leave me your message, that really does mean a lot to me. Enjoy your up and coming weekend, speak to you later. All my best, Stu.
