It sounded to me like he was trying to say he didn't have an opinion of her one way or the other at that time because he didn't know her. He definitely could have worded it much better than he did. I think they both could have said what they were trying to say in better ways, really.

Nik is a piece of work.
Not backing him up, but attachment disorders do strange things to people. Any point where the person feels like the other person tolerates them and gives them attention (even negative attention) they can form an attachment. My mom handles kids like this all of the time in her work, it's super sad to see.
Attachment* disorders manifest in a variety of ways. It can make a person either have a hard time bonding with people OR it can do the opposite, making someone excessively clingy. His may manifest as feeling like everyone he meets is his best friend and because of that he could feel disproportionately hurt any time someone cancels on him or says something small that he wildly overreacts to. People with that type of attachment disorder can have a lack of social boundaries with people and unintentionally use too much physical affection with people and be extremely emotionally needy.
He’s being so hypocritical. Stephanie has ptsd but he says that has nothing to do with him but ptsd is also a disorder just like attachment disorders

What actions? They were in a totally normal situation (as far as normal for youtubers go) and she freaked. That's not his problem. she can't handle being in a normal situation without feeling what she felt. She turned a seemingly normal you tube situation and compared it to the one where she was sexually assaulted...don't get me wrong i'm not saying it's her fault she feels the way she does. It's not her fault AT ALL. but she made him seem like some monster. She barely even tried to communicate her feelings towards him and you guys expect him to know exactly how she's feeling in each situation she's in. She didn't have to paint him the way she did knowing she never communicating her feelings and has past trauma.

Imagine you're inviting your new friend over for the first time and this is what they do. you won't feel the most comfortable either.

As someone who's also in therapy for yrs now i know it's very very difficult for steph to open up smth like this - to leave youself in a vulnerable state for others to pry. She just had to make a choice for her own story to be heard

I do agree that he should have been less pushy about everything but if he really does has a attachment disorder then it makes more sense. With attachment disorders people tend to be extremely paranoid about being ignored and not know why. I know people with this disorder and their is always a mental health aspect to it

TBH, there's no legitimate reason to take photos of a high-end security system, which he'd know if he'd been researching them, and he *had* to have known he'd be on the security footage taking his creepy photos while she was in the bathroom. So why take them? Spoilers for part 2, but the more I've thought about it the last couple of weeks, the more I'm sure that making her feel violated was part of his overall plan to add her to his list of female mukbangers he's taken down. The wording in this video is borderline victim blaming.
7:18 She didn't insinuate that her breakdown was worse than the one she had after she was assaulted, which is a wild claim to make. What she said was "this was unlike any other".
I've had multiple breakdowns that were different from each other, but expressed themselves in different ways.
Also, 10:35 "scaring herself even more". When feeling threatened, the best thing to do is to research before making any assumptions. She didn't scare herself, she found a evidence that backed up her concerns.
The video he made where he complained about not getting laid was too coincidental and telling for her to make it up.
There's other things that bug me about this, but I'll let it be.

It's a false understanding that everyone should walk on eggshells around people with PTSD, as if that's going to help them.
The therapeutic way to treat PTSD and severe trauma is controlled, safe exposure of things that trigger them. Eventually, if done in a controlled and safe way, they will become desensitised.
It's up to people when and if they decide to be treated, but avoidance is not treatment. Avoidance doesn't help.
And he's right - it's nobody else's responsibility to walk on eggshells around people. It's up to the people to decide to be treated or not. It's not the world's responsibility to take it easy on them. It doesn't help them; if anything, it makes their triggers worse, gives them more triggers, and causes complex avoidance routines that only dig them deeper into their trauma.

Yeah, I’d be kind of mad is someone ghosts me for 7 hours, but when they explain the reason, A VALID REASON mind you, (such as being sick, not feeling well and not having been able to sleep) I would understand and wish them well.
