Hi, i'm lost between those 3 at the same price : thruthear nova/supermix 4/pula pa02 or cklvx. I listen to jpop / pop and do some gaming. What should i get ? Can u please respond fast since i already ordered supermix 4 but after watching some other reviews say they are overhyped. I can still cancel my order. What do u think ?
they arent overhyped. The sound is exactly what the tuning is no surprises, or offputting quality. Id stick with the Supermix. The nova is a mid tier imo.
I appreciate your reviews. I think we share the same taste in IEMs based on your old Olina videos. Olina has been my favorite IEM for a long time (along with moded Castor Harman surprisingly) so I took the plunge and got the SM4. I've tried planar (Artti T10), and while they are amazing for music, they are not the best for gaming or movies. Hoping this SM4 dethrones my current mains

Kpop is poorly recorded imo, deep male vocals wont sound the fullest. Its harman tuning, its thin and airy sounding. The male voice is slightly recessed with this type of tuning.

Yep it’s really that good, ofcourse it’s not going to outperform the expensive pairs. For the price it’s a win

The sm4 is closer to the original recording. Whether it’s an upgrade or not depends what you value

How do male vocals sound? Like for example Leonard Cohen, deep male voices, not squeaky J-pop...
