Yesterday I had acupuncture done on my lower back for the first time, and had approx 8 needles up in. I DIDN'T feel a thing. If you're afraid of needles, don't be with acupuncture. I didn't even know it was being done. Great experience!!

@@CatsInDungarees there's also college courses on lesbian dance theory. Just because there are courses for acupuncture does not give it credibility. But acupuncture is still an incredibly relaxing and nice experience, and it indeed can relieve pain. Without any evidence of the existence of acupuncture points, it can be temporarily assumed that the pain relief it causes is mainly due to the placebo effect. Those who believe the treatment is working will most likely feel relief, especially since the brain is what exclusively senses and responds to pain. Personally, I wouldn't mind having an acupuncture treatment just because it is relaxing, regardless of whether or not the needles actually do anything. Believe what you want, but all I'm saying is that there is a lack of evidence to support the effectiveness of the treatment.

Ryan - treatment will vary from $50-120 with most treatment landing somewhere in the middle. Def worth checking out! Been around a lot longer than western medicine and has very few negative side effects of any. Uses a full body system approach rather than just focus on one symptomatic area. Good luck!

I am a senior medical student and have watched several videos. They are very relaxing to listen to, especially after a stressful day. Even though I am studying Western medicine, I hope to incorporate into my practice how Western and Alternative medicines can work together to create better health for my patients. On a personal level, I experience a lot of anxiety, especially with the stress and pressures of school, and I was considering acupuncture therapy. Do you have any recommendations on how to go about finding a reputable acupuncture practitioner? Is there any specific licensing or certification to look for? Thank you again for your videos. +mdalk000 choose a registered acupuncturist near you. Check you countries Acupuncture association websites. Ive studied acupuncture and goin for a MD entrance exam now , so i have the same idea. Try a few different practitioners establish a relationship and they may teach you when your finished

Point location are correct with the exception of GB14 (forehead) should be subcutaneous toward each other or away from each other. Stomach 4 at the mouth corner should be toward Stomach 6 at outer corner of jaw and vice versa Stomach 6 should be toward Stomach 4 but both of these need to be 1 to 1 1/2 insertion at subcutaneous placement for benefit . Actually what she’s doing has nothing to do with the power of suggestion. The needles are strategically placed in areas to stimulate micro trauma in the face and make the body produce collagen in those areas, hence no or less wrinkles.

1st never where jewellery when working on clients. 2nd where cloves when removing needles.
3rd room needs to follow international health and safety laws and so do your clothes. You have a lovely tough and mannerisums . I have made mistakes in videos as well. But blood borne pathogens are real. Please read up on them and how to keep your salon free of them.
