It was rare because they were only in Singapore. That's why they're rare in the North America and probably Europe too. Drac got his from Singapore. Hopefully they start popping up outside of Singapore more
I have two old n-strike yellow alpha troopers, one broke after an internal piece got bent. The other broke too. Time to see if I can use one to fix the other.

Besides the Yellow Styled Raider Stock, I believe that NERF hasn't released a stock for the Alpha Trooper in a LONG time, shame that they didn't use a LightningStorm or Raider Styled stock.
Also, that problem with the Alpha Trooper not firing never happened to me, that same thing would happen on my Raider/Rampage a lot of the time, though. As for the flimsy Spectre stock, it looks very cool but that's it.. Think I'll put it on my XD Stryfe.
Mine doesn't shoot very well and the priming handle kinda buffers/jams. Also on the back of the box it has a picture of a 12 mag but you get 2 n strike 6 mags... I also found that running it with a retaliator stock and a 12 mag is the best. And the spectre stock's lock is shit.
is this type of alpha trooper more than n strike elite blue ant white one because it come with a stock and the mag doesn't really mater because the blue one comes with 12
I live in Toronto so I bought that blaster but personally I think it's time for NERF to figure out how to stop jams or trying to fix NERF blasters but that's just me

If you want to have a good gun in a nerf war, the Stryfe. It lightweight but you might need a bigger clip. If you want to just have fun, the Modulus. It comes with attachments and is basically a bigger version of the Stryfe. But you can choose yourself.
