We have that tracker installed in our car and it's fantastic.

Thanks for the vid. Looks good. I imagine it needs to be permanently connected to a power source as I personally have found the battery life in these type of trackers to be poor. I spent a little more £135 and bought a motorcycle tracker called Monimoto (also subscription free using a 2g sim) that has replaceable lithium batteries that last over a year and is also weatherproof so can be mounted anywhere. I’ve had it over 2 years problem free.

I've had a couple of different trackers over the years but this seems a good price. I have a fancy tracker which came free with my motorhome (free for 1st year) - if my vehicle is stolen I have to get a police number and then ring them up and they will track it 👍 however my vehicle is in storeage and it may be several weeks before I find out it's been pinched!! So I'm going to get one of these which will tell me it's been pinched and then I can ring the police !

I’ve just added one of these to my own collection of trackers (CyberSpy TT2), I started with an permanently fixed hard wired version ( CyberSpy GT2) from Global Trackers fitted to my personal car, came in a box all set up ready to go (self install).., then I had the need of another tracker for my newly purchased Motorhome so got my hands on this 2nd generation (Initial purchase price of £55 - no setup fees) of this tracker, again from Global Trackers, which has an internal rechargeable battery size of 10000mAh which is twice the size of this Gen1 model. I choose Global Trackers because they ask only £4.80 a month and for that you get Internet explorer based tracking in real time along with 24/7 support, no need to get your won 2g or any setting up, its ready out of the box…, I have one suggestion.., I’ve got mine and put it inside of a ordinary self-seal plastic bag just to reduce any weathering or muck getting built up around the unit once in place - although you do have plenty of non-external places you can fit the unit in a 7m long motorhome! Keep on trucking!

Hey Ad, stumbled across your video whilst looking into the TKSTAR which is another variant of the one you were talking about I'm guessing. Found the info you supplied clear and concise, so much so I have already received my sim (which has been activated and I have the number to) I'm just waiting for the tracker itself, at which point I will finish the set-up. I have one question. Do you happen to know if the the tracker switches itself off if you take out the sim card, or does it go into some form of standby?. I only ask as I will not be using it all the time, yes that sounds strange, but for what I want it for I was just wondering if a power off (take sim out) is possible. Driving without clutch is a case of using engine revs and timing to get it into gears. If competent at doing this then you wouldn’t incur any damage. If however you are not good at this then you will fairly quickly crunch through and destroy your gearbox quickly.
Motorhome is now with repairers, non urgent as we don’t have anything planned until end of January. It’s just awful having to go through this and extra expense. I’m investigating installing outsmart the thief system or vanbitz growler system £749 as apposed to top end £999 including bike lock alarmed with internal sirens.

Hi Paul, yes ours is still working, tracking and I've not added any more credit to the SIM since I made this video. My only gripe, and it's my own fault, is that when I really want it working (our moho is at a garage 150 miles away) the battery has run out so I can't track it. The battery lasts about 3 months. I'd like to connect it to the solar panel but still have it hidden somehow.

Have to say thanks again, my brother-inlaw are indebted to you. We did not read any instructions just followed what you said and it was all so simple. Not sure how long you have had yours and as I said we have not read anything, Do you know how long the battery will last? I know cold has a lot to do with that but I mean in general. Sorry just been reeding other questions on here and read 3 months charge then edited this to say so, must be a pain answering the same questions over and over,.The other thing is mine is working fine ( I think ) but theirs is solid blue where as mine flashes blue then orange, any idea's to why this is? Thanks again Ray K UK YNWA.

When it arrived there was a sticker attached with a description of the sims capability, with a blacked out area over the gprs description. I have contacted the sender asking that they send the product as described in there advert. I was just a bit to keen to take it out the packaging and get up and running. Never mind it was only pence and hopefully the correct one will arrive next.

With the app, don't put your reg into it. It's not necessary and it could be a security risk.
With geofencing you create a point with a radius and that is you fence. If the car leaves the fence then you'll be alerted. 100 metres is too narrow and you may get notifications that your car is traveling when it is not.

The SIM is free or as little as 50p. It's pay as you go meaning if you use the credit you have to top it up - there is no contract. I topped up the SIM when I made this video, a year ago, by £10 and I got £5 added for free. Since then I've not added any credit and it uses about 30p per month.
