This is a song that should definitely be reacted to with the official video. The song and accompanying official video are like two generals turning the keys at the same time to unlock the full experience.
This song is a masterpiece of innuendo and timing. Easily one of the best songs of the 00's. This version of it, is one of the worst things I've ever heard. The official video is a MUST.
@@kristinblevins6842 As it didn't chart until 2000, no. It took longer than, it does today, for things to gain popularity and by the time this took off it was 2000. Personally, I wouldn't consider this a 90s song, but I don't care if someone else wants to.
This was very difficult to listen to live. I can't believe their official video and live material is so polar. I love listening to the official video. It always picks up my day.
The single or album versions are for listening to. The live version is to entertain and interact with the crowd. I'm sure this is true across all genres for very nearly all artists. The single or album versions are more set and don't deviate, while the live versions are rarely ever the same experience twice.
This is an absolute must. He's going to need lyrics and still not believe what he hears and reads. Personally though "I Hope You Die" is my favorite from them, something about the full circle story makes it top shelf
The thing about this song live, is that it's SO popular they dont really have to hit it hard. And their shows are a bonkers things. They are banned from Ukraine for their antics, when I saw them live their bassist started the show off by doing a bong of a 75cl of jaegermeister. They all put on helmets and played a song using themselves as the drum kit. They are a whole thing live. So what I am saying is what others have said, the music video is a better "music" flavor of this song, here they are doing it for the crowd.
That made me chuckle 🤭 you leaning forward to make sure you were reading the right lyrics and adjusting your glasses 😂😂 definitely check the official video, it’s bonkers 😝
It's not that he just prefers live videos, he's far less likely to get a copyright strike from one. He says that he watches, or listens to the studio version afterwards on his own. It's just an unfortunate necessity to keep his channel growing and profitable.
So I grew up with the bloodhound gang they always felt closer to the Beastie boys then what this song indicates and in all three of the shows I saw live they always segue between songs with some of the great classic hip-hop from the previous decade Honestly one of the best covers of "tricky" I've ever heard This was their radio song they did it to be funny they did it to make a really awesome music video you didn't get either parts of that watching this live version Some bands the live show and the album are interchangeable and it's all to generate new fans, some bands the live shows are just for their hardcore fans this band is definitely the latter Would really like you to react to more if you can The next most popular songs from them were 1.foxtrot unicorn charlie kilo (f.u.c.k), a song completely composed of sexual innuendo I believe they say every way I've ever heard for coitus 2 firewater burn ❤️🔥 This is a good band they made good music for many years this is what happens when you give kids a rock contract and all they listen to is old school hip hop they make joke songs and cover sweet hip Hop
Some of my favorite songs of theirs are The Ballad of Chasey Lain, I Hope You Die, and Three Point One Four. These guys might be a little dated, but their 90's vibe is pure nostalgia for me.
I think Three Point One Four would be a great one for a reaction. I love Lift Your Head up High (And Blow Your Brains Out) but I'm not too sure that would fly on a reaction channel. It would evoke a strong reaction, at least.
I know and understand why you do live versions of songs and I'm ok with it most of the time, but you need to watch the official video of this one its like reacting to a weird al song without the video
With your musical background I'm a little surprised you don't know White Lines by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Perhaps that should be a song you react to... early rap.
Dude the cashier at the gas station mentioned this song to me earlier today. What a coincidence you post your reaction to it tonight Edit: 1: Now I have this song stuck in my head and I know it's gonna be there for the next week. 2: This live version was absolute garbage compared to the actual video
I literally just played this on Beat Saber in VR after not playing Beat Saber in 6 months. Then youtubing before bed and see this, lol. The studio version is magnitudes better though.
Greetings MRLBOYD, I definitely get what you're doing with hearing what people can do live. I couldnt get thru this cuz there performance was terrible. Seemed very winded too.
Ahhh 1999… I had just finished law school and was still young.. 25.. and still went out to clubs… this was great to dance to in a club and people weren’t so offended with lyrics and videos. GenX rules.
Just so you know, i knew this song from when i was like 3. In fact it was my favorite song at that time. But i didnt know english so i didnt know the lyrics and the atrocities they said as i played this at the family gatherings
I know you are insistent on watching live versions of songs but this is one of several examples of a live version actually doing the album version a disservice. Admittedly this band is a bit of a novelty act but they have several clever songs that are witty and catchy. They aren't a band that I'd care to see live or expect much from in a live setting.
I love it when bands change their own songs live or add something to it (best example for this is the german band Die Ärzte which do this on every live show) The part when they dance is taken from the original music video. Other songs from them I recommend are: The Ballad of Chasey Lain Fire Water Burn Foxtrott Uniform Charlie Kilo Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope Along Comes Mary And most of the original music videos are also hilarious so I recommend to check the original music videos instead of live gigs
Little fact the album this is from round the center of the CD were it would normally say something like "Sony music 2002" or what ever it actually says "insert tongue to stimulate nipple"
I have to admit I'm slightly amused at the initial confusion. BHG is one of those groups that never took themselves Too seriously to have fun, and had many songs that would never make it on radio, which was fine. They were crass, dirty, and somewhat rude, but fun. And honestly, musically they were pretty tight. Their lyrics were well thought out and planned, with double entendres and unexpected rhymes paired up throughout. A guilty pleasure band that was better than many who were serious about it.
For another great funky song with all kinds of double meaning, check out "Pants" by Here Come the Mummies. Also one of the few bands whose live recordings don't suffer in song quality.
I saw them live with Nerf Herder in 2000. It was just a blast! You really should have checked out the official video, though I understand why you didn't.
He may also like his hashbrowns chunked but it sounds a little smoother so say you want the girl smothered and covered than to say you want her chunked lmfao
Everything from the bloodhound gang should be done with the official videos. I will still thumbs up so you know I would like to see more of this specific content but not this specific version of this specific content.
Please, please do more songs by The Bloodhound Gang! Honestly they are one of the funniest most intelligent bands out there. If anyone tells me they don’t like them I automatically know that person is dumb and doesn’t get half of the jokes or innuendos. Bad touch is there most commercially pop songs. Do 3.14, lol. 😂
How do you search for this song and not come up with the official video with 400 million views? Like.... nah the one with 400 million couldnt possibly be the one people want to see!

Came to say the same. Sound is terrible.
I agree. This is one where the video is a must.
Yes video is must
O and there song yummy down on this is also a must 😆 🤣 😂
I love this song but this live performance does not do it justice agreed!!!

you have to do the music video. this live version is a different version. the music video is a classic though
YES! You should check out Foxtroct Unicorn Charlie Kilo, The roof is on fire, and Chasey Lain. These guys are musical geniuses.
The roof is on fire, is actually called Fire, Water, Burn
Fire water burn is legit.

Yes, fire water burn. I forgot the actual name of the song and couldn't look it up.

Always do studio versions with them.
Yes but they're something beautiful live ahaha
This whole album is fun... and dirty.

You get what you deserve with these damn live versions.
Gotta love some Bloodhound Gang.
Would love to see a reaction to "a lap dance is so much better when the stripper is crying" lmao

DUMB SOLO! I've seen then live MANY times, lol
My favorite lyric in this song is the self deprecating verse, “ But I got this notion that the motion of your ocean
Means small craft advisory”
I'd never heard this live. They are definitely a studio band.

You have to hear the studio version of this. The official video is way, way better than this. If you liked this at all you should watch the video.
Producer: How much innuendo did you put in this song?
The Bloodhound Gang: *Yes.*
The rap/rock is good and the comedy is good, if not Gold
The roof is on fire is a classic one
🤣 My favorite thing about this one is the repeated look on your face that says, "Lawds!! Let's git this over with!!" 🤣🤣🤣 You're so AWEsome!

Fire Water Burn
Why Is Everybody Always Picking On Me
They shut off the jukebox at the bowling alley when I was 6th grade because played this over and over again.

My intro to fast rap from a non rap group. This is a classic that never gets old.
The official video is an absolute must in this case, just as it is with “Blackhole Sun”
The Bloodhound Gang - Mope
The other great Bloodhound Gang innuendo song is called "Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo".
This band are so great!!!
You should react to RATM’s song “Vietnow”, if you haven’t already. I think you’d like it a lot.
The intro before the Bad Touch is White Lines by Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel, homage to early 80s hip hop.
