I think his basic fundamentals are vastly improved so far this season. He has a nice aggressive defensive stance, and he is keeping his hands up in the passing lanes better. His future is very bright if he continues to improve at this rate.
Agreed, he's a very good shooter, as he was last year. I was talking about his biggest area of improvement, which I believe is on the defensive end.@@Zuleva_Official
Mister future MVP. Our starting sg should be 6'5 above. Not 6'3. We had Mccullom n it didn't work. Billups better recognize that. Sharpe is a future Allstar n Superstar. Don't take any minutes from him
Ugh, I know its so early still in the guys career buy I cant help but think of Sharpe as our next young Paul George with a little Wade thrown in there.
Good observations and points. Sharp needs to continue working on making good passes and tightening up his handles. If he does, he can be a star in this league.
To my eye, he's been one of the best one-on-one defenders on the team this year, as far as staying in front of his man and putting pressure on them, fighting through screens, etc... Still instances when he's not on ball where he seems to check out a bit. I've seen a few times where a teammate got beat and all he needed to do was take a step or two to rotate over and help prevent an easy layup/dunk but he just stood there and watched. He's not the only one I've seen do that, though. Overall I'm really excited about how good he's looked already :-)
@@BlazersUprise I just remember that you and Eric weren't thrilled. It wasn't that you thought Sharpe was a bad prospect, he was definitely acknowledged as an upside play. I distinctly remember it being where the team was at, you guys weren't exactly thrilled on picking a boom/bust guy at 7, who was viewed as a bit of a project. I don't think it was the wrong take btw, just don't remember high fives and celebration at the pick.
Sharpe reminds me a little of Donovan Mitchell with his explosiveness...just bigger...I'm excited to see what he becomes in the next few years...I believe he will become a premier shooting guard very soon if he keeps developing at this rate
Sharpe is showing all star potential and he's only starting year 2. His handle is improved but still needs work. He has the hands to be solid in that area, just needs time and effort. His shot looks good, not as good as Ant but next best on this year's team. Athletic ability and flying prowess make Shae so fun to watch even now as he still developing.
He jumps out of the gym. Maybe he’s more like a Demar Derozan than Booker. The key 🔐 will be how Portland convinces players to stay. Maybe call Phil Knight and create a Blazer’s center like he has at UofO. Different uniforms each month. Even better, he buys the Franchise as a silent owner.
Well said Torey. 🤟🏽I seen his handle improve some but also his pace as well. I noticed he's not racing to his spots, he chop his steps now to give him his best chance to explode off the floor. Not a ton of dunks to show for but his steps & handle to get to his spots with pace has really improved even since this past summer league. Go#TrailBlazers❤️🩶🖤 🌹🥀🌹
Keep ant and trade scoot 😂 he’s taller and way better and more developed. Also people forget how much better Anfernee gets every season, still, consistently. It’s like throwing away a sure thing for a maybe
The fact that a three is easier to get the a Dunk all outside shots should be worth 2 points and dunks should be worth 3. Make games more fun to watch.
sharpe has earned his minutes, blazers future is bright
He's got aura too
Sharpe is my new favorite Blazer, love to see him improve and get more play time as he's a fun player to watch.

He can shoot too 😳

I still believe Scoot will develop into a all star by his 3rd or 4th season
@@gregbors8364 yes and the best point guard prospect in the draft too
Scoot is a stud. I don't worry after 4 games. Megasuperstar. Trust me
I love the idea that Sharpe is next!
Shaedon is him
Im the most glad to see his improvements on defense.
wait deadpool?
Love the video Torey!
bro was just complaining about him in preseason...

At least we have something to look forward to in Sharpe. Scoot...maybe. If his shooting doesn't improve, he'll Markelle Fultz 2.0.
I love this young core GoBlazers ❤🖤 love the channel And Scoot getting better each game that you want to see

He looks like a borderline all-star at 20...Scary to think about what he's gonna be at 25

Ps.... still loved that we got ayton

A budding Tracy McGrady/Vince Carteresque star on the rise.
Shae the fun guy 2.0
I think you were pretty high. But I remember you were much higher on others. I think you preferred Dyson Daniels if I remember correctly?
I don't remember. I liked Dyson a bit more as an NBA ready piece. I was definitely higher on Sharpe's upside.

I'm in the "Start Scoot, Malcom, Shaedon" train.
Sharpes iq is the most improved part of his game he will be an allstar soon maybe next year he just needs seasoning
