The Indian head and Buffalo nickles belt buckle, the Indians name was Chief Ironbottom. He was a Cherokee chief. His brother Chief Doublehead was my great grandfather. I am the 8th generation down.
✝️🙏Being a Federal Recognized California Native American it hurts my heart to know another Native lost their belongings because of hard times. In my Tribe it is disrespectful to touch other Natives belongings without asking permission or praying over it first. Give thanks to Creator that you will respectfully handle these items with loving care. Also Native American Indians might have put a Curse on their “Drums, Tobacco, Eagle Feathers, statute, Jewelry, and Beads. When bad occurrences start happening Sickness, Anger, Death you need to give it back or get rid of it. Also there is a CA Federal Law no one can possess Eagle Feather because their on the Endangered List.
This was a very interesting unit! A lot of the stuff has meaning in the Native American Culture that we do do always understand. They relate to animals and spirits of animals with reverence so don't be too upset by the bones and body parts. I think some of the larger stones look like tools used by ancient peoples so I wouldn't be too hasty to dismiss them as just rocks, they could be worth a very lot of money. I do admire you for returning items to the families! That is commendable. Please stay safe and be careful! ❤❤
You may need to give back the feathers too. Don't know about Oregon but in Arizona it is illegal for anyone but native Americans to have feathers from endangered species and eagles.
That was a deer foot, phesant wing , the tube with something wound around it usuall birch bark is a moose call , My dad had one he made , I live up in reservstion area and many in our schools also my best friend. They use all those things and each has a meaning. The keys make beautiful wind chimes ! Wonderful unit
The 6cent stamp is Chief Joseph issued from 1961 - 1970. Leader of his tribe - Nez Perce people - they were forced off their land by the government in 1877 and he marched them across the Rockies through Oregon and forced on a reservation in Idaho.
22:40: Do check all the jewelry for the gems. I believe I saw amethyst, turquoise, perhaps some coral, rose quartz etc. Some of those may be worth more than their setting! 41:55: That might be a part of the microscope you had earlier. I suspect the owner of this unit either was a shaman or really interested in it (stones, beaded sticks, feathers...). Anyway, nice finds!
The jewellery has some beautiful pieces of jewellery and feather craft plus all the beading work and baskets awesomeness. A lot of work went into them. I myself collect feathers and use them in crafting for myself. Take care and thank you for sharing 👍👏❤️
Feels like they were upcycling items into other things. Were they making the dream catchers ? Using old furs and leather items to make new items , like the feathers for ceremony fans . Its very interesting .
When you were showing the glass balls there was a paper wait with a snowflake look. It is from Avon. It was right in the center when you placed them on the table.
I love everything native american and wolf😍 so this was a great video for me! In the old days, even as late as 1970 when I was small, children played with bones. My parents were sheep farmers, so we got a lot to play with. We used the jawbones for cows, legbones for horses, horns for sheep. Lovely memories.💖
I have just spent the last 30 minutes pondering on how I need to tell you some things without seeming snooty or condescending. 1. I really want you to know that I find these kinds of videos very interesting. To look into others lives is fascinating to me so for that, thank you for sharing. 2. I watch all kinds of UA-cam videos and 9 times out of 10 I have positive feedback , if I have any at all. 3. Please stop saying you are in a hurry but then go off on something else and come back and tell your mother or your wife to ‘hurry it up’. Disrespectful. I don’t care if they don’t mind. 4. You tell them to take everything out of the boxes and to look at it all together, yet you either snatch it out of their hands or spend time looking at stuff you picked out instead of doing what you said you would do. 5. And I will make this my last but, never ask your wife to touch something if you wouldn’t touch it. And stop ridiculing her if she doesn’t want to touch it. Perhaps you should go back to some of your vids and just listen to yourself. I think this was #5 of the videos I have watched ( I really tried to figure you out) but I think it will be my last which is sad to me because I really like this genre of videos. I’m sorry.
What an interesting unit, I have never seen some of the items before. That jewellery will take some time to check, and the food, so much of it! I do love feathers, I used to collect them that I found while out walking and had them in a vase for years. The red glass container is beautiful as are the glass paperweights, they are special and highly collectable. The geese do love to get in your videos lol, but they are lovely to look at. Take care and stay safe please my friends God bless you all love and hugs to you both and Grandma Ventures Mary-Ellen UK ❤
27:55 that big hand carved wooden thing would have had a stretched skin drum top tied onto the top. That is what those holes are for. That could be a very expensive piece, especially if you can find the tribe it is affiliated with, or better yet, the carver.
Those feathers on the skin is a pheasant. Nothing illegal about owning them that I know of. This is a very interesting unit and that round carved large thing is a drum. It has to have the leather put on it. Ceremonial drum.
All those tools & scissors go into making what you see there. Including the wood "toture" item & animals. The rock could be used to help soften skin which used to be chewed. Feathers are used a lot in the Indian culture.
A lot of these items should be sold on eBay. I feel bad they lost this storage unit. So much is precious to them. One of a kind and Native American is sought after for there work of art.
That looks like Jack Hokeah artwork, if it's a signed original it could be worth a lot. They sell his prints for a decent amount. He died in 1969, I think. The prints have printing at the very bottom but from first glance, it looks like a signed original.
You should see if the fire dept needs any of the skeleton keys. they use them for rescuing kids that get locked in rooms, like my daughter she was 3 yrs. old and got mad at me and slammed her bedroom door shut and the old lock broke and locked her in her room and I couldn't get her out but the fire dept. had a bunch of skeleton keys and one of them unlocked the door (thank God). Thank you for sharing your video with us and have a great evening!
the hooved foot is a deer leg. It was probably screwed into the wall of a log cabin and used to hang hats or coats on. I have seen boards with rows of 4 of them used that way. The turtle is wonderful and I would love to purchase it !!!
I grew up in the country on a large 500 acre farm . You lived off the land ,hunted , fished ,grew crops. also trapped that darker fur i think is beaver and the reddish probably fox .
I am an american, a wiccan, and I make historical reenactment (9th cent Viking) gear and garb. My storage unit would SCARE THE LIFE out of you...LOL...nothing sacred in my storage. That stuff stays with me. But I couldn't help to chuckle at you finding bones, horns (i carve them) pieces of fur and leather, stones, etc. Glad you are returning some of the feathers, most especially eagle or owl. Some of the other small items in that box could be religious and personal in nature. Thank you for sharing your videos.
Well done Wade, Ashley and Grandma- great videos. Just curious though- should a unit contain a large amount of cash and/or precious metals like gold and silver ingots does all that legally belong to you as the purchaser?
Whenever an abandoned storage locker is purchased at an auction, the person who bought the unit is the owner of all of the contents of that locker. It's in the laws governing the purchase of abandoned storage lockers in every state and province. So Wade owns all the contents of each storage locker that he buys. So, he can do whatever he wants with those contents.
The Indian head and Buffalo nickles belt buckle, the Indians name was Chief Ironbottom. He was a Cherokee chief. His brother Chief Doublehead was my great grandfather. I am the 8th generation down.
Your wife has great patience, a very tolerant human.
Tolerance of a saint to put up with him and his mom

Hey Mary
Hi there ? Hope you're fine and staying safe?
You may need to give back the feathers too. Don't know about Oregon but in Arizona it is illegal for anyone but native Americans to have feathers from endangered species and eagles.
That thing you thought was a torture device is actually an Inca drum. Those spikes inside actually come out and are used to hold the hide to the drum.
That was a deer foot, phesant wing , the tube with something wound around it usuall birch bark is a moose call , My dad had one he made , I live up in reservstion area and many in our schools also my best friend. Thank you for giving some things back

@13:16 she sets down a dowell wrapped with string - it's a bobbin for weaving.
Wow that was an interesting unit. So much jewellery nice to see you and Ashley x
Why is your wife there if she can't show anything you keep taking everything from her??
22:40: Do check all the jewelry for the gems. I believe I saw amethyst, turquoise, perhaps some coral, rose quartz etc. Some of those may be worth more than their setting!

Anyway, nice finds!
The glass " balls"; paper weights.
The jewellery has some beautiful pieces of jewellery and feather craft plus all the beading work and baskets awesomeness. A lot of work went into them. I myself collect feathers and use them in crafting for myself. Take care and thank you for sharing 👍👏❤️
The beautiful yellow vase and the giraffe looks like maybe glass murano
Good video. Lots of good stuff in there. Made your money back for sure. Thanks for sharing. ❤️❤️
Do you still use your Warehouse? I look all your videos . I love the Videos
Feels like they were upcycling items into other things. Were they making the dream catchers ? Using old furs and leather items to make new items , like the feathers for ceremony fans . Its very interesting .
I really enjoyed watching what's in this unit
The pink vase is satin glass and the design is Jack in the Pulpit. Names for a flower.
Hi wade love u and your wife and granny I'm glad I found u 3 of course your boys too have seen them yet I'm sure they are adorable
When you were showing the glass balls there was a paper wait with a snowflake look. It is from Avon. It was right in the center when you placed them on the table.
Hi Wade , Ashley and grandma ventures nice to see you xxx
I like theM for Miller🐶🐅
The black rock is extremely special. Used to have one when I was younger.
Yes! I love it! I want the fur.
those abalone shells are worth money and deer, elk and moose all shed their antlers in the late fall or early winter.
The orange dish is beautiful! The chihuahua statues are probably chalkware and are definitely older. Love the crab pin!!
The wooden torture device was a drum. but the skins gone
I love everything native american and wolf😍 so this was a great video for me!

This was an good unit. The volts can be mink & or beaver. All those bead3d work things some fetch huge money.
I think the rock was actually a pestle used for grinding corn and etc

Hi from Ontario Canada great videos
Bullicante means the use of controlled air bubbles in hand blown glass, like your paper weights.
27:55 that big hand carved wooden thing would have had a stretched skin drum top tied onto the top. That is what those holes are for. That could be a very expensive piece, especially if you can find the tribe it is affiliated with, or better yet, the carver.
black rock is a grinding stone for pounding grain into flour.
It's a beautiful unit you did good
Had some cool stuff
I’ve seen beautiful decorative pieces made with those horns and pheasant feathers
Those feathers on the skin is a pheasant. Nothing illegal about owning them that I know of. This is a very interesting unit and that round carved large thing is a drum. It has to have the leather put on it. Ceremonial drum.
I love fur. I collect it and making a blanket for granddaughter in case needs it in event of no energy/ fuel
All those tools & scissors go into making what you see there. Including the wood "toture" item & animals. The rock could be used to help soften skin which used to be chewed. Feathers are used a lot in the Indian culture.
Put a black light to that oranges amber jellybean jar. I bet it will glow.
Very interesting unit
A lot of these items should be sold on eBay. I feel bad they lost this storage unit. So much is precious to them. One of a kind and Native American is sought after for there work of art.
Love the Indian products. Ashly you an excellent taste.
37:59 called a hammer stone, used by native americans for processing grains etc.
Deer and Moose grow and shed antlers annually.
You scored!

In the bag of military medals, there is a unit pin that is gold, white & maroon, it is from the U S Army Medical School in San Antoino, TX.
i would love to buy the life sized chihuahua dog from the Native american storage unit/How do i do it? i just joined your membership! tty
Love the amber coloured candy dish and the Giraffe
I'm native American Indian, it's a pipe used to smoke tobacco
Amber candy dish could be Tiffany glassware

Clank them together to attract bucks.
There's definitely hand made that is definitely hand made, that's definitely hand madddde
I would be interested in the scissor lot. How and where are you going to list them?
You should see if the fire dept needs any of the skeleton keys. they use them for rescuing kids that get locked in rooms, like my daughter she was 3 yrs. old and got mad at me and slammed her bedroom door shut and the old lock broke and locked her in her room and I couldn't get her out but the fire dept. had a bunch of skeleton keys and one of them unlocked the door (thank God). I thought it was a camel leg
@@Kirri834 Just ask yourself, why would a native American storage unit have a real body part of an animal that was not a part of their culture?
@Vickie Olson great response..lol!
I grew up in the country on a large 500 acre farm . You lived off the land ,hunted , fished ,grew crops. also trapped that darker fur i think is beaver and the reddish probably fox .
I want to Chihuahuas! Lol!
The jewelry is what I would like to see piece by piece.
36:35- That is a foot from a goat. Good unit, Wade. The jewelry will pay for the locker with a decent profit. Everything else is profit on top of it.
That looks like a stone that they use to sharpen their arrowheads on
Any Avon decanter is collectable!!!!!
“There some furry thing in here. Hope it’s not an animal.” 🤣🤣🤣 Of course it would be an animal.
Wooden “ pails” are called furkins so used to hold flour long ago
I would give a lot off native stuff to a museum and they would tell you what they mean
The shoe @12.33 sold in the 60's & 70's from stores like Mervyns. I own a pair of those.
The big one big wooden one is got all the sewing stuff in it is an ice chest
That orange candy dish is worth money and beautiful
I am an american, a wiccan, and I make historical reenactment (9th cent Viking) gear and garb. My storage unit would SCARE THE LIFE out of you...LOL...nothing sacred in my storage. That stuff stays with me. But I couldn't help to chuckle at you finding bones, horns (i carve them) pieces of fur and leather, stones, etc. Glad you are returning some of the feathers, most especially eagle or owl. Rose quartz heart.Rose quartz is good against cancer
Still have one of those big green Coleman coolers left? I'm interested in buying one. Hope I'm not too late. Lol

Only Natives can have eagle feathers....
I love the set of skeleton keys
They are called paper weights.
Lol @ Ashley, you can tell someone remembers karate kid 2.
They look good
Nice jewelry
Please do your research on the Native American items baskets, beaded jewelry ect . Could be worth A Lot of money .. very special to native Americans
How much for the the round glass balls with flowers thanks
Wade I think that's a goat foot.
The shells are used to but tobacco, sage, cedar and sweetgrass for spiritual cleansing.
I like the glass balls and the other glass, the jewelry, but not to keen on the bones and teeth. Awesome video!!!!!
Moose shed too
Your little helpers got there a bit late. They coul have helped you unload. This is a very interesting unit.
I like the chihuahuas!
I want that orange dish...
