Cam, you left at the wrong time. Looking from the outside, unless your a Rossi or Marquez, it's normally the third year onwards that it clicks in Moto 2 or 3. It just takes that small couple of things to rise to the top with all being so equal. Look at our Jake Dixon, I think it's his 5th year now and it's clicked. I think the reason we Brits support our cousins over the pond is, there are few Brits compared to other Nationalities so we see how tough it is. Garrett, you and Cam should organize a 'Team America' in World Superbikes! If you do don't forget i mentioned it. A week end with the team at Donnington I would except 😉
Shooting the shit with Cam B is the kind of content that we as spectators don’t get enough of. My hats off to Cam being so honest about arriving too late in his career for a crack at MotoGP. And spilling about how much competition a rider from any country is up against. I was looking at the lap times for the whole grid in MotoAmerica and the top riders are separated by tenths but at the back it’s 3 seconds a lap. Essentially you have works riders on top tuned machinery and then second tier superbikes and then a mixture of super stock bikes and whatever you can afford. No matter how hard the guys at the back push, they have no chance against the likes of Jake G. So it’s the same names every race weekend racing for the same spots unless it rains. It was great to see you in 5th place for a short time, I have high hopes that BMW can consistently hit the podium next season.

So good that Cam was already desiring to come home because he and Shelby will never wonder if he cut it short just because she got pregnant. CamB is fast (5 championships fast)… so whilst his luck hasn’t been great - it makes Jake Gagne’s 3rd win even more impressive to me. Hope he comes back stronger & we get amazing battles again next year.
When I saw Cam get hit I felt that same sensation you have when you're about to wreck and you know you're gonna get hurt and there ain't nothing you can do about it. Terrible feeling but so glad he's ok. Keep chargin' boys so I can enjoy me some good vicarious racin'!

Why do you think that United States is no longer able to produce riders that are capable of winning in Europe? Is it that everyone is too busy playing with track days and not enough racing such as WERA to train riders. What are other countries doing that we are not?
I have noticed that European racers are a little more focused on their "craft vs fun" and usually have more years on 2 wheels. When Americans are laser focused, like Ben Spies in WSBK, John and Nicky in MotoGP, they are usually top of the class. Gar, we know you can get there. OORAH.
