Wow
Oh my gosh you don’t know how much you helped me. I tried so many methods to feed Hubert I he just wouldn’t eat. Then I saw your video and it changed my life. Hubert started eating instantly with the first method. I was so happy that he finally started eating and I just can’t thank you enough. Tyyy :)
They sound so excited for food it's adorable 😭💕💕💕
I'm so glad that you posted this video. It has helped me a great deal as I have 2 orphaned Racing Homers and had to start raising them by hand and they are healthy and growing and thriving. I just wish there were a way to put something in the nest to comfort them better.
These little creatures are so cute ❤❤they are the gifts of god🙏🙏
What the why would you eat a pigeon????????
And yes it is the gift of God
@@ashlynnvasquez3716 still a Gift? Unleashed incoming lol
My God, they're talkative and so cute, Pigeons are such lovely animals, since my childhood I loved them but without knowing a pursued them. Actually when walking on every street, I enjoy watching them always. Thank You so much for taking care of these babies. Mellifex Farm, its lovely.
you saved a life by helping me while others told complicated methods this was easy thank you so much
They’re so cute. Thanks for feeding them
Thank you so much for making this video. I was not aware that the bag method even existed. This video is such a gem.🙏
thank you! only video that actually showed me how to feed my baby. saved him
Also, if someone is inexperienced the use of a smaller syringe can help to not risk overfilling. Good video!
BRILLIANT! This is saving so many lives!
Oh my goodness gracious. Little creature. Little thing. What? Hello? Ooh.
Thank you!!! I’ve been feeding some week old babies by hand with a mushy mix of seed and chick feed and it’s so messy! This looks great, will do this next time 😅
Thanks for the help. I just rescued 2 baby pigeons and this is most helpful. 👍
Thanks for the great video...you have save many baby pegions lives from this video...tnxs a million
Thankyou so much for your video. I look after young pigeons occasionally, and this information will help me heaps. 🇦🇺
Thanks for making this video, it helps so much. Seeds are less likely to cause them crop issues, even if I'm using baby bird powdered mix.
Great video let me try the seed thing have 2 babies mother was scalping them.... worked beautiful and they took right to it
This is the video I was looking for, thank you so much!
I was having a hard time feeding the almost orphan baby pigeons, thanks to their parents
Thanks l’onda for this video. i wasn’t sure my 9 days old rescue pigeons could eat a pigeon seed mix yet and in which size, gave it to them today after seeing your video and they loved it, didn’t get as much air in their crops as they would with semi-liquid formula and they felt full much faster. Bless your heart!
TY very much for this. 2 baby pigeons appeared on my patio few days ago & though I bought them feed they didn't appear to be eating. Now I know how to teach them to eat
Thank you for this video..I'm helping a friend who just found a baby pigeon and this will definitely be very useful.
I use the baby chick food from walmart, and grind put a lot of eater to mix it so its like porridge and feed them withy finger till they can eat them self than I give them small bird seed, move to a cage.I plan to let them fly free nut, I am waiting till the weather is warmer at night, so they are not freezing out side and starfing because they used to have food all this time.
I mean water a lot to the baby chick food.
Thank you very helpful for my mum.
I’m here too because of an abandoned baby pigeon. She’s doing greats and this helps. Thank you.
Wonderful, my friend, very excellent idea. Your channel is very beautiful and wonderful
Wished I knew this,50yrs, ago.
They are sooo cute I love them
Just rescued a baby pigeon that someone threw from the 5th floor balcony 😢 I hope this helps him ❤
Wow ty so much for sharing this, I rescued 2 babies last night and used a plastic bottle and it was very very difficult, I will try this method today
Please tell me how long do i wait, im not experienced i do not know when it's empty
How many times a day was you feeding them please? Just rescued one like 5 mins ago
thanks for additional info. my vet (not extreme pro avian expertise) advice too little food and i suspected it wasn't enough so i thicken the oatmeal (3rd feeding since rescue). but i did learn to check the crop. but i believe it is old enough (7+days) to eat seeds so i'll be getting a bag at least.
Cute little guys
Thank you so, so much. Since I was a kid I’ve always shied away from attempting to rescue baby birds because they always die and it hurts my soul. Four days ago my dog found a little mourning dove chick on my patio. Not sure how many days old he is, but he barely has little pin feathers and fits completely in the palm of my hand, so I’m guessing no more than a week old, if that. I searched and searched for the nest but was unsuccessful. Then several hours later another little guy just appeared in the exact same spot, and again I searched unsuccessfully for the nest. We have Cooper’s hawks here and doves seem to be at the top of their list of birds on their menu, so it’s possible something happened to their mama. Regardless, I had two babies on my hand that needed attention, so I decided to give it a go on feeding them, thinking that it would entail giving them a bowl of water and throwing some seeds in with them and hoping for the best.
When I first watched this video I was fascinated but thought I could never do this. But now with two very hungry chicks I simply had no choice. I scrabbled to get the right food and utensils and then with great care and no small amount of trepidation, I just went for it. The first two feedings were a bit clumsy for the birds and for me, but the job got done.
I am SO happy to report that both birds are doing well and I am still shocked at the fact that I am able to syringe feed them with no problem. The first time was indeed very scary-I just didn’t want to hurt these tiny creatures in any way. But now all three of us are used to the routine. I have so much more confidence in myself and the little ones don’t struggle at all when I pick them up because they know a warm meal is on the way! Now I need to figure out when to switch to the bag of grains. I’m hoping they will show me when it’s the right time. They are growing so rapidly so my guess is that it will be soon.
This means so much to me, and I cannot thank you enough for having posted this video as a reference for me to know what to do.
I am determined to get these guys to fledge, with the hope they will stick around and make nests of their own one day, bringing generations of joy to my home and garden.
I’m writing this long comment with the hope that others who may be reticent to even try such a rescue will be motivated to give it a go. The reward for success is certainly worth it!
Thank you for this. This works so well.
Wow this was so helpful i was trying to find a video like this but i just couldn't so thank you ur amazing 😊
I'm really appreciate for your good information 🤗
nice vid with relaxing music.
This is lovely to watch.
your hands are beautiful
How many times a day do you feed them . great video
I found a baby pigeon there just fell out the nest . I tell you this bird would not eat or drink unless I fed it directly out my hand . I only had the bird for 3 days then a crow broke its neck . that hurt me bad because I was holding it in my hand when it had its last taught me and it's last breath .
Thank you very much, you just saved my lil bird. GOD bless you
You've explained very clearly, thank you so much 💞

Great video
I have 2 baby pegeon tjat only 2 days old, abandon almost death and I raise them to be my pet. I just feef them with my finger with the baby chicken food from Walmart, I mix with water and feed them with my finger 2x aday, they grow so rapidly and I pur a lamp to keep th warm in the room and put old towel and put paper towel on top so I van change every day with the clean one, now they are adult pegeon ang star mating to each other, but it still cold winter time, and I just let them fly around the house about two to three hours every evening time to night time, and they go to bed in their cage, the also like to take a warm bath in a big bowl that I put on my counter top so the can enjoy soak them self in that bowl, its fun to see them every day, we are in California high desert area.
Wonderful episode like this brother. Love u 2❤️🇧🇩
if you use the bag method, you don’t have to check the crop?
But what if i only feed them the First thing which u showed and not the last one ??? It's ok?? Im afraid to do the last one cuz im not good with it
Good idea 👍
You are fantastic ✌️🇪🇬
Super cute
Thank you so much! Helping a sweet fledgling right now! Hoping the bag method works better. Can you elaborate more on their "crops"/ stomachs?
So helpful I rescue pigeons thank you
Thanks for sharing excellent work 🐦👀🙏🏾
Very adorable
I’m so hoping you can advice me: how much water should I give in syringe if I go onto feeding seeds like you in a bag? So appreciate this clip. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
it worked....Thankyou !
Thanks Dude.. I was worried about how exactly I shud be feeding the fud.. it gave a big relief when you explained clearly about oesophagus and lungs' location..
Is this seeds and grains too much big for then ? got two pigeons, when Irescue then they were just babys like that and I should to feed then with a kind of bird porridge for more then two weeks.
I hand raised a pigeon and he is now 2 months old. He eats no seeds but still the nutribird A19. He pecks the seeds but can't hold them in his mouth and cant swallow them. If I put the seeds in his mouth myself and he swallows, he vomits after a few hours or the day after and the seeds are not digested. I don't know what the problem is, why he can't eat by himself, why he vomits and why the seeds are not digested!! Do you have any advice for me please? I'm having a really hard time with him.
Are they really not feeling hurt when the tube is pushing into the crop??
Beautiful 👍

Theirs a little questions my pigeon is 15 days old how should I feed them tube or normal 🙏
I just found a baby on the ground. I have looked and looked but cannot find a nest to put him back into. I’m not sure how old he is, looks kind of like the chicks at the beginning of this video, but also could be like the ones she was tube feeding, because he’s kind of small. How do I know which food to use? Where do I get the formula to mix with the squab feed? Do pet stores carry this or online? I’m so scared I’m going to do it wrong and kill the little creature. Today is May 12, 2023-if anyone happens to read this and can give advice, I’d really appreciate it. It would absolutely break my heart to lose him. Thank you!
Really good ideas to feed pigeon chicken.
Too cute!
Hello, i have resently found a wounded pigeon chick and this video helped me be able to feed him but could you please tell me how im i supose to give them water?
(he seam to be a bit older than the first ones you feed in your video)
I would offer him a bowl of seed and a bowl of water, if he is older than the ones in this video he should be able to at least try to start self feeding/drinking. Giving water orally (aside from the water in the handfeeding mix) can be dangerous so its best to let them figure out drinking themselves.
Do you still feed formula as well or only seeds ?
Thanks for feeding them
Very nice Idea
That was amazing and helpful
Hey can u help me is it 100% ok to them seed at day 7 I have a pigeon I'm raising hes started pecking everything really opening his mouth wide but I asked on a Facebook pigeon rescue page they all want crazy on me saying it's to young and start seed at 5 6weeks old
Soooo cute
Question: How old are your pigeons when you get them? Or, when do you start hand feeding them? I have a day old baby and he can be a challenge to feed because of his size, so do you have any tips? (First time pigeon parent - his name is Dodo)
I get my pigeons as adults and only ever handfeed if it is necessary. Pigeons are extraordinarily difficult to raise from hatch, and do very poorly health wise if they do not get their parents crop milk and the probiotics it gives them.
Wow superrrrrrr 😃👌
Good work bro
Just a question how long do u store this food in bag?? Does it finish the ssme day?? Or in the aftrnoon do u make new batch?
Very nice! Thank you

Once they reach day 7 do I have to give them the seed and continue to give them the formula or could I do either one
Thanks for the bag feeding because I don't know how to open my baby Pigeon mouth thanks ❤️❤️👍👍
Superb dear.
I have two 2 month old pigeons and they don’t eat well by theirselves and as I got them from someone else they aren’t with their parents. Can I use this method?
Sure
I love pigeons who are cute
I rescued a pigeon that seems to be too young to fly upwards (can flap about and glide forward but that's about it). I don't know how old it is, but it refuses to eat. It didn't have much of an issue with drinking. I hope tomorrow it will be rested enough to begin eating.
Very nice..!!! Keep sharing nice videos 👍🏻😉
Question... If they are eating seeds, don't I need to give them grit so they can digest them?
I rescued one and was told to let crop empty fully before feeding. It has emptied about half in 10 hours should I wait to see if it will fully empty or seek help? He is about 10 days old
Thank you so much for this great video, I just got a 15 baby pigeon and I don't know what to do with it, I gave it soft bread that I put in water. Where can I find this seeds please??
Online or in pet stores
Can this food and method be used for doves?. I have a mourning dove thats likely 1-2 weeks old . He has all his feathers . Im very new to feeding young birds. This is my first time and i really want the dove to survive.
I feed the 2 days old bird with my hand, mix the baby chicken food grinded put water till its like porridge , and I feed them with my finger 2x a day, after the beek bigger than I give them small bird seed teach them to eat that, and move them to big cage, no lamp anymore after the feather grow full, they are my pet now I let them fly around the house in the evening about 2 hours to let them practicing to fly, of course I have to clean the floor next morning.I plan to let them fly free but wait till the weather warmer on spring time.
Nice 👍
How many times do you feed them a day?
❤️❤️❤️❤️
