Congratulations to the birth of Emily! Thanks for sharing the birth story. I hope that you managed to recover by now and are fully able to enjoy being mothers.
They broke my waters and there was just a trickle. Mum walked me around for hours, my contractions were brutal. When my son finally came out, he shot out with a gush of water, it’s a good job he was attached lol. Congratulations to you both ❤️🇬🇧
It is so helpful having a camera in everyone’s pocket these days! And we were so lucky as well that one of the people in the delivery room was GREAT at taking photos and offered. So lovely!
I had an induction due to pre term labour (waters broke at 35+6). I also ended up having an epidural but by the time I was 10cm dilated and ready to push I was feeling every contraction again too and the shakes omg. I was pressing that button over and over but it was no longer working. 32 hours from the time my waters broke until I had baby boy. Love hearing birth stories!!
Wow! That is a looong time from waters breaking! Hideous the way the epidural can wear off for some. Still, I feel like it was probably better than not having it 😅 What a full on experience. Loving hearing people’s birth stories. I wasn’t able to engage with birth stories before she was here safely because I was terrified but loving it now! C xx
Desde Santa Fe en Argentina, les envío toda la buena energía y los mejores deseos de una vida preciosa para vuestra familia. Y para la pequeña reina, un especial beso en el dedo meñique de sus pies!!!!! =)

Congratulations!! So right about the umbilical cord. It's like trying to cut through a heavy-duty power cord!
Right?! 🔌
Thanks Duncan!
