Birding in September 2024 bearded tits and lapwings

This month I was extremely excited to be able to capture the bearded tit/ reedling on a plant. I know everyone was out looking for the male especially so I was very lucky. I also managed to capture the lapwing with the beautiful sheen on its wings. Really beautiful bird. It was so hot you can see the air moving but I'm happy all the same. I hope next time it will be clearer.
Also with the kingfishers the third nest fledged but one got caught in water and ended up in the reeds under the watchpoint. The adult called and tried to feed it. Let's hope it succeeded in getting out.
