Portsmouth Coastal Marathon 'Run' Down

Dave and I, from the Portsmouth Running Podcast, are delighted to bring you this informally short teaser about the Portsmouth Coastal Marathon (and ultra and half marathon). It will give you an idea on the route, underfoot conditions and perhaps help you decide on what shoes to wear.
We've included some visuals of the route end to end to give you an idea of the paths that lead you all the way from Portsmouth, to Hayling Island and back. This is a festively fun marathon and definitely not one to miss. Enjoy the content and see you all in December xxx

Looking for ward to this in Dec. Have just registered for the half, is it the same terrain for the half as the full 50k?

Hi Rob, fantastic stuff. Really good event with the approaching Christmas period 👌 The half marathon will be exactly the same kind of thing, with almost identical out bound journey, only returning sooner than the marathon and 50k. Same conditions underfoot etc. Although the halfers won't have to make the journey down the Hayling Billy Line 😄🤘 Good luck!
