Ginger Beer/Ginger Ale
Angostura Bitters
Fill the glass with ice and add 45ml of Bols Genever. Top up with Ginger Beer/Ginger Ale, some fresh lime juice and a dash of angostura bitters

I love Bols Genever. I got introduced to it when Nikki Sunseri did a series of cocktails for the Tasted channel about 100 years ago now. It's like you force fed a car a loaf of bread.

In the Netherlands we would usualy drink it with a glass of beer. The jenever is normaly served in a tulip glass, so it looks like a woman standing next to a man.

Got a bottle of this not too long ago and had the same thoughts pre-tonic. The flavor certainly cuts through any mixer you put to it, as I've also done a gimlet with it. Something i can say however is that it grows on you after a few tastings.
I need to give it another go, I've been passing it over for my other gins. I think I might try it with some other tonics and see what I think.

@@alightweightreviews9293 i tried it today yeah its awesome 60% characters are balanced to scotch smokies like that and rest are botanicals love it🧡❤️ but cant get high with that am suer if i do that ill get huge hangover 🙂😉
