I originally found Richie Kotzen and The Winery Dogs whilst looking for a new pickup for my telecaster. I came across the Dimarzio Chopper T and Richie's name was on the list of artists that used the pickup so I decided to check him and The Winery Dogs out, so glad that I did, I haven't heard a band that is this musically brilliant in years.
Such an awesome singer, guitar player, and he seems to be so damn cool as a person, as well, I love that song, and that riff is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard... not to mention the solo, damn. Ps. why the hell would anyone dislike this?!

+sillennium he's huge in japan and overseas but not many people know of him here he says it himself in an interview with portnoy and sheehan..clearly this is a win win for him because he's already an established solo artist..to be honest i like his band more than the dog's

I’m not putting Steven Tyler in that category as he’s obviously also a very good singer, but people can be recognizable for many reasons. IMHO, Richie has Steven covered in vocal ability/technique/tone. Richie is as about as good a rock singer I’ve ever heard, I’d put him up with several very well known, household names without a second thought.

What a great player and singer Ritchie has become!When i saw him in the 80,s it was pretty bad but now he has become one off the best players out there!And i love that he only olays with his fingers now and no pick.It gives him origininality.I know Jeff Beck has done it since the"the beginning off time but Ritchie is a way better player.In fact i think Beck is probably the most overated player ever along with Kirk Hammet...ha.
This guy made me fall back in love with the Tele. Great talent, most underrated guitarist in the world

Honestly, Richie is a MUCH better singer than Steven Tyler.
They are both amazing singers. Richie is better technically, but Steven Tyler has the advantage of being instantly recognizable.
