Im no expert but as you're playing I was looking at the open rules that you have there. You always have the option in choosing the second card's value as long as it's faceup. So you probably didn't lose at the point you had thought.

I don't know if you have different rules or not, but Binding Stones do not score better if they are all rotated the same way, they only score based on the adjacent card's value. Also, when encountering Frenzied Flame, you just rotate it and stick it in your deck, and then end your turn. You don't assign it any value and start the next turn from the top card of your deck.

Watching you play, it’s kind of hard to tell where you went wrong. It seems like you made all very rational decisions, simply avoiding the Lose cards and trying to flip cards, and it feels like bad luck that you ended losing the way you did. The artwork and theme is incredible, but I can’t help but feel the decision-making isn’t very interesting. What say you?
I play very reactively, i.e. with what I currently have. If I did a bit more pattern matching and remembering the order of groups of cards, I'd probably do better. Also I often forget that you can use the second card down when it is faceup, so this gives more options.
zoomed out unnecessarily far (too far) away. And if the only skill is memory, then no thank you. You don't need to scale for the rulesheet. pnparcade download has the 5.0 rules
