I very recently bought an '07 XLR base. It didn't come with a map DVD either. I was waiting to see if you could make the radio work after bringing up the map screen. Mine doesn't.
@@ClassicCarAddicts Thank you for your sage advice. It sounds like i should just upgrade instead of repairing. I don't have any apple devices as yet.. everything I have is android.. but I will take your suggestion under advisement. THANK YOU so much for responding.

The best thing to do in my opinion is upgrade it to a new double din touch screen with apple and car play.
