Such a powerful and relevant message. I heard Vic deliver this presentation as a keynote at an academic nursing conference. Out of 20 years of going to conferences, this presentation was so affecting that it still sticks with me.
I cried when he cried at the end. He is an amazing man and I am so inspired by his ability to overcome his daughter's death and find a purpose for his life. As he said, it saved his life.
Losing a child, is to me, one of the hardest thing. Unless u have kids u don’t understand this. I am upset even if my children are slightly unwell. Thanks for sharing ur experience with us and thanks again for this great, simple and clear message talk.
This is a real eye opener, you can tell he really knows what hes talking about. I agree with him that you only really open your eye after something tragic happens like cancer. If your reeding this I want you to really take in what he said. And please, find you inner purpous.
This is an excellent video! I share this similar message in my business both through coaching and as a speaker and author. Having a sense of purpose is literally like having an internal compass that allows you to keep moving forward even amid chaos, confusion and loss. There is a reason to keep going. It literally can save lives! Times of transition often create the desire and opportunity for soul searching that opens the flood gates to a life of more meaning and purpose. I just spoke about this topic at the "Maximize Your Career: Business Tools for Women Over 50" conference in the Chicago area. Nicely done!

2022 and this message is still resonating. Nice work Vic!
