I am impressed with your neatness, including the garage. I have no kids at home and in theory no other job, no few excuses for being less tidy than you.
Hanging out for the next installment

Thanks Col, I wish I could keep the garage squared away more.

Good sketching and both styles will look ok.

Looking cool, I like your drawings, being able to draw is great, as one can sit back and look at his thoughts....
    Good Luck mate, moving well.

Looking good. And, yes, I was thinking “nice sketches” as I was watching. Looking forward to the next episode and seeing how those foredeck panels turn out. Thanks for sharing.

Cleaning to Work ration was about 2:1 when I built my dong last winter....
Always a challenge to keep things neat, but worth it as it Les it easier to find what you need when you need it.

I see that someone mentioned kerfs already. You could also have made a cut from the forward edge down the centerline to relieve that stress point in the ply (similar to cutting a dart but not triangular). Gaps could be filled with your epoxy/balloon mix and sanded fair after curing.

Thanks Robert, that could have worked too. I think they call those kind of cuts gores.

Maybe the boom or mast can double for a sup paddle?

Top idea John, I can see the paddle being used to pole out the sail downwind.

Hey! Did you experiment at all with putting kerfs in the ply towards the tip of the bow? I know at 3mm there isn’t much to go on, but curious if it could work…

Hey mate, no I didn’t think of that! Could of been a nice solution.

@@Aaron.deRuiter ok. I’ll do a few experiments and post it in the FB group. So glad you highlighted this in the video. Nice to see fails and thought processes; rare thing on YT.

I will literally step over stuff I left laying around while working on something. I get tunnel vision.

100% me too, when you’ve got 15-20 minutes at a time you make the most of it!
