- El COUGAR de Kayacat es el catamarán más avanzado y versátil del mercado. Con un peso total de 9 kg usted lo lleva en una mochila. Se monta en menos de 10 minutos y puede salir remando como un kayak y en el momento que detecta viento transformarlo en un catamarán a vela. Extrae su mástil telescópico y monta su vela en el mismo mar. Capaz de alcanzar hasta 10 nudos de velocidad y desarrollado para ser involcable. Equipado con timón y orza podrá navegar a cualquier rumbo.

Excelente idea ,muy versátil, pregunto, NO hace falta un mini respaldo, para no forzar la zona Lumbar ?
Porque tuve un Atlantic Kayack, y tuve que agregarle un respaldo, era imposible remar en esa posición ,el fabricante ,lo rescató tarde, había que hacer otra inversión, pero este se ve muy bueno ,!!! Felicitaciones!!.👏👏👏👏👏👍🇦🇷

Does this sail well?? I mean, it would be better with a little boom but it's a case of keeping weight down I suppose! I think the concept is brilliant but expensive, still thinking about it as I can't afford a sailboat 😓
Yes, as you can see it navigates very well, it is light and fast. It will always be cheaper than a sailboat! 😉
Sailboat will last for decades, this thing will disintegrate after the summer... Waste of money

Good morning! When there is no wind you paddle, like a kayak, unfortunately we no longer have the Puma model with sail, we only have the Coguar (model without sail) Greetings!

No por el momento, creemos que un catamarán hinchable no ha de llevarse bien con los anzuelos jeje

Todos los modelos de Kayacat tienen un peso recomendado de 115 kg sentado, con otros 20 kg de carga en popa y 10 kg más en la proa.

Ni coge 10 nudos ni se monta en 10 minutos. La realidad es que llega a los 6 nudos y se tarda unos 25 minutos en montar.
y no venden repuestos!!!
Hola Topanga! Discrepamos totalmente, hemos alcanzado 10 nudos de velocidad con condiciones óptimas de viento, y en el montaje se tarda literalmente 10 mins.. comprobado!!

@@txepul el tema de los repuestos está más complicado, al ser Kayakat una startup tienen producción limitada y fabrican repuestos con cada tirada de producto.

A mid keel (or two side fins) is missing. This thing is unsailable! A simple fin just aft of the mast does the trick

Do not think it is that easy, the cover is extremely resistant and it is very difficult to puncture. Cheers!
