Interesting I recently saw a video of a dodge demon on Hoonigan auto-focus that was slightly modified with twin turbos and it ran I think 8 second can't remember the exact time and top speed was 162mph and this ZR1 runs similar times and speed but I wonder if it was gutted (ZR1). Also the Demon had full carbon fiber body.
@@casino8857 What you said was flat out dumb. Of course, it wouldn't run the same time with a 18 or 19" drag radial. The fact that's all you got out of this awesome video of a heads/cam stock blower car running mid 8's made it obvious. Lol Why would you run a 18 or 19 when you can run a 15" and go quicker. 🤔
cars got a built motor now. but the stock motor was still fine, they just decided to upgrade it for the nitrous they put on it after this video. cars shocked a lot of people till this day with what it does on the street blower only.
Sorry to let you know but the C6ZR1 is still the king . This doesn’t prove shit . There are plenty of C6 Zr1’s in the 8’s and getting that time with a MANUAL transmission and hitting the same trap speed . Driving an automatic down the quarter mile will NEVER be as impressive as driving a stick down the quarter mile no matter how much you want them to be equal they aren’t equal .
@@NutButDontTella Lethal went 8.98 only once a few months ago in the SPRING. The C7 ZR1 managed 8's in 100* heat. This AMP in good air might just go 8.39. The C7 ZR1 is not only quicker it's wayyyy quicker than the old one. Some of you fanboys have to realize that, in most cases, newer is better. That's what we are seeing here. The SUCCESSOR to the old C6. I know it hurts because you have all of your C6 ZR1 vids saves to your profile. 😂 Here's a tissue.
