    I agree you do get attention for being Caucasian there but trust me barbecue nation is just like that. I am an indian and the chef brought out a few experimental dishes for our whole group like atleast two times that we went. Once my friend wasn't enjoying a particular dish but he wasn't complaining yet the chef kept insisting to give a review and what changes we would prefer and after 10 minutes he brought out the remade dish just the way my friend wanted. Trust me it's just Barbecue Nation. They make EVERYONE feel special.
    Also because you had a camera so it's publicity.

    One time my boyfriend didn't like the soup the chef made so the server went back to the kitchen and the chef had made us a special soup and he came to our table just to ask for a review and if we didn't like it he'll make us another one.. Trust me they treat you very well there

    Bro I appreciate your comments on feeling like a minority . Glad to see you're being treated well in India. Now just imagine me being a minority in the US .... the only brown guy on the plane ... the only brown guy in a class ... sadly the same warmth and curiosity isn't extended to me ... its often fear and hate . I appreciate channels like your that try and show different cultures and people .

      manni k yeah, I’ve experienced that as well. Once a lady refused to sit next to me on a plane and it held up takeoff until somebody else volunteered to take her seat. Her loss, and certainly not the norm in India. The person who took her seat apologized and said there were still pockets of ignorance and intolerance in India. Overwhelmingly a great people though.
      I’ve experienced hatred in its many forms all over the world, to include bigotry and racism in the US for being a white male. It’s sucks in any form.

      Bro please understand one thing its a culture, atiti devo bhava, guest is god this is our culture and we are trying to live up to it. It doesn't matter who treat you how but we must treat our guests as god thats our culture and we are proud of it. I experienced racism in Europe but that some of theirs views let them stick to their view point and we must follow our dharma.
      Ego is bigger then mammoth, it takes the flight to everywhere but lands nowhere.

      leggettnada1 So’oooo many ideas, so’oooo little time! I’m really working to learn to cook as much as possible outdoors, with my various assorted cooking thingies, with a whole wood or lump charcoal fire, rain, wind, or sun, year round. I don’t have a good idea for what I want my outdoor cook kitchen design might be, because I also want to have some of the basic elements of the “kitchen” that I can also move/include in our rv when on the road. I’ve recently added a Lodge Sportsman Grill to my stuff stash, and this will be a great way to do most, but not all of, what you are showing here. I’ve got more that I can babble about, but, I’m going to keep this short. Yours is 1 of only 3 youtube cooking channels I subscribe to. These are great videos and very inspirational! Thanks for your time and effort! I know this is not a simple, slam dunk deal!

    We don't call lamb mutton here in India. When we say mutton, we are referring to goat meat. In fact, in other parts of the world, adult sheep meat is called mutton. Also, Barbeque Nation is one of the worst places you could have gone to for grilled food. Try eating at the old-school Mughlai restaurants and street food stalls, if your stomach can handle it though, and you will find a world of difference.

    • @TeachaMantoFish
      @TeachaMantoFish  4 роки тому

      One of the problems I have is that I travel their for business, I can't afford a case of traveler's stomach and still perform my job. I know my gut has gotten better at handling the food over they years that I've been traveling there, but I've still not gone full street food yet.
      Many people have commented on here that mutton refers to goats in India, thanks for the clarification. Goat is not a stable meat in North America, although it is becoming so as the Latinos & Central Americans migrate northward. At one point it was one of the fastest growing protein sources in the USA.
      BBQ is a very big deal in the US, the attraction for this restaurant was the "BBQ reference".
      Thanks for watching and commenting.
