Your explanation on any topic of driving routines and principles are simply educative and instructive. Excellent service to driving industry to create safe drivers on the Britain road.
Hi Shak. It’s a good video as a guide. However the vehicle you drive will also play a part in the speed you drive over the humps. I drive an SUV with a softer suspension and higher ground clearance. In which you can drive over the speed humps at a higher speed then in say a car with sports suspension for example
Hello Harry. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. You're 100% correct. I am driving a B class Mercedes in the video. I am imagine it being different in a Corsa or Fiesta
Compared to ramps, average-speed and other types of cameras can generate MUCH more revenue for government to contribute towards road safety, damage vehicles less, don't slow traffic unnecessarily, create less co2 and brake dust and vehicle stress from unnecessary braking and accelerating, lower environmental noise and stress on nearby house occupants caused by cars hitting ramps and speed changes, are more comfortable because less speed change and chassis movement, make roads look smoother and nicer, lessen problem of speeding between ramps, are less aggravating, and likely have more compliance, and can track criminals better and are better for emergency vehicles to get to destination, and can locate the most dangerous drivers like joyriders quicker. Likely lots of other reasons cameras are better. Modern tech makes them incredibly cost effective too
I actually think the speed humps with gaps in them are a waste of time consequently vehicles with larger axles don't need to slow down plus motorbikes etc it doesn't affect them at all. But most dangerously you get vehicles driving in the centre of the road so they can go through the centre. If you going to have speed humps they should be across the whole rd so drivers can't avoid them. I'd say most humps you'd struggle to do 20 mph without banging front spoilers and underneath of your vehicle. I'd say 15 mph max!
Great video, full of information.

The future is "self repairing roads"
