Which of the new and upgraded Bankai revealed in TYBW Part 2 is your FAVOURITE? Which unknown Bankai do you want to see the most in Part 3? Let me know!
Well I love all bankais and is nice to see all animated so Well but If I has to chose one I said senjumaru's bankai Because I never expected that bankai and Is so good, I mean the thematic, the colours, and the efects, wow wow wow sooo good, tite kubo has always unique mind ❤😂🎉❤
all this gets me SO excited for kyoraku's backstory and bankai. i have faith the anime will do right by both of them. the team seems to have a solid understanding of how to hit the important emotional notes in the story while giving prominence to the lore heavy parts that matter most.
Shutara's Bankai was a true spectacle, as stunning as it was unnerving. While other Bankai like Renji and Rukia's were great ways of showing their growth and how far they have come.
Rukia's Hakka no Togame❄️ is definitely one of the most beautiful and coolest-looking (pun intended😉) Bankais ever👏. The animators nailed its representation! Meanwhile, Senjumaru's Bankai is both maginificient and so broken that it is able to literally shake the foundations of multiple worlds simultaneously. Also, Senjumaru's Bankai matches her demeanor perfectly: it's deceptively graceful and elegant, but possesses a menacing aura.🥶
Personally I hope for Aizen's bankai to appear in the anime. Also I know it is VERY unlikely but I would love to see Yoruichi's zanpakutou. Personally I like the theory of the 1st capitain of the 2nd division having the blade that is like a family blade like Nanao's and such
And, what do you hope Aizen's Bankai would do? Spoilers if you hadn't read the novel. Apparently the only thing we know about it is in Can't Fear Your Own World novel, where it states that Aizen's Bankai only works on those who are already hypnotized by his Shikai. Well, the Shihōin clan is responsible for caretaking the Hōgu (宝具, Treasured Tools) and Bugu (武具, Armaments) said to have been bestowed on them by the gods. So you might be on to something there.
@@herpderp5727 personally I do like the theory of turning reality into ilusions and the theory of it being the opposite of Hirakos (shikai affects groups while bankai is single target) presented in the video from this exact channel
@@marceloasensiofilho3833 Reality into illusion? So, similar to Izanagi? If an event related to a target already subject to Kyoka Suigetsu occurred that Aizen didn't want, he'll turn it into an illusion making it so that it never happened?
All the bankais in part 2 were amazing. And seeing Shinji calling out his was a huge W for him, he really did a lot more than in the manga. Now let’s hope in cour 3 or 4, most likely cour 4 if cour 3 ends with the Gerald fight, Ichigo can properly show his true bankai. Seriously I think every fan who felt bitter at how Ichigo’s true bankai was interrupted like that wants to see it’s true appearance and how it works
A thought for why Shinji needed the pill to restore use of his bankai is that he wasn’t aware of the methods that was discovered by Kiskuke. Only those few that were around for his explanation of how he discovered how to restore the soul reapers bankai and knew the “why” to the pill. Just a theory or justification 😂
Soi Fons bankai might be my favorite. Im a sucker for military technology, and i love that Kubo manages to fit a freakin' Cruise Missile into a show about ghost Samurai and it doesnt feel absurdly out of place. I also think Kubos art is often at its best for me personally when hes drawing explosions, Cero blasts, etc. And that always translates beautifully to anime.
@@babytoshiro7014He needs to actually give her a proper fight that lets her use all her powers and abilities. Just let her go all out against an opponent that can’t bullshit her abilities. Just put her in a fight where she isn’t horribly mismatched. Not even a matchup where she has the advantage, just one where she can use her powers.
When it comes to Zabimaru and Renji, we know that zanpukto are living spirits with their own will and wishes. While the traditional mode of learning Bankai is years of training, we do know that it can be personalized and changed depending on the wielder (Kisuke, Ichigo, Kenpachi, etc.) When Renji learned Bankai it was right before Rukia got executed. Zabimaru probably saw that Renji desperately wanted to save Rukia and needed the power of bankai to do so but probably still wanted Renji to mature more before attaining a true bankai, so instead Zabimaru gave Renji a partial bankai because that's what he needed in his hour of need.
Good theory, he got a power boost when he truly needed it though the false Bankai he was able to manifest, but he wasn’t ready for Zabimaru’s true power at the time bc he rushed his Bankai training.
Personally, I think its because we've seen Renji's Zanpakuto spirit. The way to get to Bankai is to manifest your spirit and have it acknowledge you. But as seen with Renji manifests his spirit, it was only half of the spirit that acknowledged and wanted to help him. Zabimaru isn't just the Ape that wanted to help, but also the serpent that is its tail and the snake never said anything or even acknowledged Renji at all. So it makes me think that the more snake like Bankai was the Ape and finally having those more Ape like features was the snake. It seems like its reversed, but the answer is that they're both two spirits and one spirit at the same time.
Personally, I prefer the original Bankai’s design. It seems more like a natural evolution, by becoming this massive whip. Wish his true Bankai was also a whip
@@jembozaba4864Also do think went another Bankai evolution or slite changes over the timskip or pre hell arc. Only reason I said because I thought 🤔💭💭🤔 of what former head Capt - Commander said about Bankai evolve or change slash with their user _ shinigama.
So I think the reason Renji wasn't able to access the true power of his bankai was because he had doubts about himself as a fighter. You say that the reason Zabimaru reveals the true name of its bankai to Renji was becausemRenji forces it to see his as a true warrior. But Zabimaru IS Renji, which means that, on some level, Renji didn't truly believe in his own power before his time in the Royal Palace. Kubo makes it clear early on that Renji has self esteem issues. I think this is a visual representation of Renji accepting himself and his power
A personal theory of mine is that Senjumaru's bankai doesn't use the enemy's fate, it literally WEAVES it. Maybe it can't harm its victims in the moment and the visuals might be a prophetic illusion of some kind (which allows everyone to easily escape it in S3), but in actuality Senjumaru had already decided their fates the moment they're trapped within the Bankai, the weaving machine of fate?
I feel like Senjumaru's Bankai isn't using their fate against them, but actually setting their fate full stop. I think the reason each defeated Sternritters 'fate' is exactly or close to how they die in the manga is telling us that this is why they get defeated in those ways. Senjumaru is creating a tapestry, a story of each of their deaths, and whilst they might not be defeated by her hand they still come to the fate she sets right here in her Bankai. I think her Bankai literally gives Senjumaru the power to alter someones fate, and decide how they ultimately die. Which we will see when all of them are defeated in later battles in the ways she shows here.
This is it exactly, it’s all up for interpretation but this is the most logical and interesting idea. It makes no sense the way it’s explained in this video because if that’s the case and it’s just using their future against them then if she knows how they die and uses that against them then why didn’t they die in her Bankai? BECAUSE, she isn’t using their future against them, SHES CREATING THEIR FUTURE! She’s setting in stone that even if she dies those affected by her Bankai will eventually perish at the same fate she set.
I interpreted it as her weaving the thread of fate and ultimately showing where it will be cut. So similar I'd say, more mythology based as she's like this deity of the soul reapers. She's determining when and how they die.
This is what I've thought too, seems the most logical. It goes thematically with the concept of "Weaving one's fate" too which perfectly fits Senjumaru's character.
I wrote the same in another comment section. It’s probably why their powers can “shake” the 3 worlds because they can alter reality or in her case, fate itself. Remember, their leader can change names, so in line with his power, Senjumaro can probably affect people’s destiny too. It’s honestly fitting considering the need to seal those powers away.
The two bankai upgrades I really need to see is Zaraki’s getting a full name instead of the unnamed version we have now and more importantly. A completely original anime only bankai for Aizen. That would absolutely break the internet if Aizen uses some insane bankai in his battles in cour 3
zaraki's unnamed bankai and an original anime-only bankai for aizen would definitely be mind-blowing! it would be a treat for fans and create quite the buzz.
My personal theory is that the Visored's Shinigami and Hollow powers are separate. Essentially allowing Quincy to steal the Bankai. Unlike Ichigo whose Zangetsu is a Hollow, Shinji and the others already had established Zanpakuto before being hollowfied. Probably why they needed to take Urahara's hollow pills. Just a theory tho
Except Aizen said himself that Hollow powers and Shinigami powers are just two sides to the same coin. And even created a shinigami capable of resurrection.
Sajin was the first great one to start the arc and was my 3rd favorite cause it made his bankai crazy strong and impregnable but the outcome is unfortunate after . Rukias Bankai was honestly my favorite and one of the most inspirational moments I’ve seen in anime. Then Senjumarus bankai stole the show at the end and was my second favorite reveal just from the sheer sacrifice and power
With how much new content they're gonna be adding in part 3 and 4 I really hope we get to see Ukitakes Bankai, sure, but even more than that I would love to see Aizens. With his time in Muken he reaffirmed his Bond with Kyouka Suigetsu, as seen by him using it on Yhwach of all people, just by him looking at Aizen. With this reestablished bond it would also make sense to me that he appreciates his Bankai again, instead of his raw, transcendent power approach in Deicide. Even without this, moments like "Welcome to my Soul Society" are gonna be amazing, but actually seeing his Bankai would be the cherry on top
Sakashima Yokoshima is a Bankai that seems to be better for brutal warfare but it is not used enough, imagine if it was used against several Sternritters or even against the Royal Guard. This reminds me of Suzumebachi situation. It seemed that Yhwach was worried about this Zanpakuto enough to choose or even created a special Sternritter to counter it, but then this topic was forgotten. This two Zanpakuto would cause a lot of chaos on the battlefield and I'm a little sad that Kubo didn't use them more
Someone else made this observation, but I'm very much riding with it: Okay, so we know that Kubo is working hard to rectify the shortcomings of the manga, particularly with the involvement of the Zero Squad towards the story in general. Senjumaru is known as the Great Weave Guard, and as sometimes with The Fates of Greek mythology, they both use looms... to weave the fate of others. I think that's what Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji does, it predestined them. When they escape her bankai's pocket dimensions, they still can't escape what she's weaved for them. *HENCE* the referential connections between what manga readers have read about upcoming events, and what happened to the Schutzstaffel in Senjumaru's bankai. I think things could still change around, I'm sure many weren't happy about how Jurgam and Gerard finally went down, but I don't think it'll differ that much. And just like that, the Zero Squad successfully beat the fraud allegations by being directly invoved in the defeat of Quincies.
Regarding Jugram, his fate probably won't be changed much. Given Senjumaru's technique for him is "Burning Field", a procession of red cloths picturing black trees aflame. Consider his backstory, where his forest was burned down, by Yhwach. And how does he die? By Yhwach consuming him in the light of Auswählen, like how he's engulfed in flames here. Well, actually he has Uryu transfer his wounds onto him to heal himself but semantics. That said, Gerard might change. Kubo said that if his cross is destroyed he would've been defeated, if anyone could destroy it. Maybe instead of Yhwach sucking him dry, Toshiro freezes him. Then Hachigen uses Hako Okuri to transport Byakuya's Senbonzakura inside the giant, breaking him from the inside. This exposes and damages the cross, to which Kenpachi destroys.
At first Rukia seems "fragile" but like Iceman in Marvel Comics and Toshiro's zan she can probably regenerate injury as long as there is moisture and she has reistu left. I hope to see more of her powers in the Hell Arc. Some combo attacks w/ Toshiro would be wicked.
My hopes for parts 3 and 4 for bankai are two of the most anticipated ever which is ukitake and aizen, ukitake I see as less likely out of the two but with the changes the anime is making I'm getting seriously hyped at the prospect of finally seeing Aizen's bankai
It was good to see Shinto’s because like his ability his use of bankai is inverted. He prefers to use shikai one on one and the bankai for multitudes. It’s a nice detail
They were spectacular. Also like the theme that some are highly specialized and need perfect timing or are unsafe. Shinji sure had his epic 007 moment dealing with those Quincy.
Indeed. Shinji’s trademark laidback attitude while dealing with a horde of Quincy by using his Bankai, made for a very cool scene. It also made for a strong contrast with Sajin’s intense, yet noble demeanor while confronting Bambietta.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 Yes. He's laid back, goofy and put upon by Hiyori but when the situation calls for it he is absolutely deadly and beffiting his rank.
@@manuelacosta9463 True. Many within Bleach have dual personas on and off the battlefield. Shinji, Kisuke and Shunsui are some of the most striking examples of this. Shinji's banter and comedic interactions with Hiyori, also act as a nice contrast with his more calm and caring side that he shows in how he helped Momo recover after becoming her Captain.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 Indeed. Yoruichi has that too. She's typically jovial and relaxed, never letting her skills or noble status control her. But being a lifelong trained assassin she's utterly dangerous. And as we saw in CFYOW's ending she wanted to brainwash Hisagi for digging into the Spirit King's history, being so edgy about it Kisuke was unnerved and asked if she was feeling ok. She does later admit to Kira and Rose that those in power are the problem and cause all the problems with their secrets and massive egos. She's light and shadow.
@@manuelacosta9463 Yes. Even Kenpachi falls into this group. He loves a brutal, bloody fight, but he is a genuinely caring and devoted father-figure to little Yachiru and enjoys hanging out and having a drink with his comrades. It makes the Nobles fears of him come across as their typical brand of paranoia, which it is.
Best revealed Bankai so far to me is Rukia with Hakka no Togame. The most beautiful Bankai got all its necessary shine. I NEED to see what Ichigo Bankai is. Not even an Aizen Bankai reveal would overhype seeing Ichigo's TRUE BANKAI power to me.
I can think of some headcanon reasoning to explain a couple sticking points you had that occurred to me while watching. Toshiro's Bankai being made of ice makes it easier to change form by adding more or taking it away unlike Soi Fon's one big bazooka so once his Reiatsu hollowfies, the shape of the ice changes to reflect that hollow influence but i couldnt explain why his voice hollowfies and Soi Fon's doesn't Im guessing that with the lack of information on how the Quincies steal Bankai, as i dont think many people knew they failed to take Ichigo's, Shinji thought his would be at risk too and decided against using it
With the zero division showing their true power I’d like to see a redo of aizen vs the zero division. I’d say the results are still the same but the discussion would be great to see.
My theory as to why zabi never told renji its real name is becase its mad at him. Zabi imparted half her name to renji as an acknowledgement of his powers, and the 1st thing renji does with it, unless I'm misremembering coz its been years, is get it destroyed by byakuya.
Honestly I really like Ichibei's. Being able to change the name of anything makes me hope his fight gets an upgrade from now until his "final move". Turning rocks on the ground into bombs, the ground into quicksand, the air into acid...when the ability is overwriting reality you want to see it go wild. Beyond that...maybe Rukia's just because it's so darn pretty, but unless she can move under it once she's mastered it there's not much appeal to an ice nuke.
I always wanted to see ichigo full potential on his Quincy side like we see for Shinigami bankai and hollow resurrection. I hope in the anime he show at least a little bit more what he can do with his quincy powers and maybe in the hell arc his full potential. Ichigo is special because he can see yhwach in his inner world, something the other quincies can't or at least there has never been reference about. I think he can train with his inner yhwach and maybe even have a shrift. Also, his Quincy blood side is pure which makes him more special.
I think the fact is that shinji's bankai isnt affected by his hollow powers upon activation. Kinda like how Ichigo goes bankai then amps it with the hollow mask. He would have to summon his mask to influence with hollow powers I think. 🤔
I've thought about why Shinji used the Hollowfication Pill and I've reached the conclusion that it's because the Hollow Mask doesn't hollowfy the Bankai. To elaborate, Zangetsu and the Hollow White are one and the same, hence Tensa Zangetsu has Hollow energy and is immune to Bankai stealing. The Vizards' Hollow Powers are seperate from their Zanpakutou and are therefore still susceptible to having their Bankai stolen.
@@EmissaryOfStuff Except not all the captains have those pills (Rose, Kensei and Shunsui didn't), only ones who had their Bankai taken. Kenpachi didn't reveal his Bankai until his fight with Gerard. Did Kisuke give them off screen? But then why do we only see Shinji use it?
@@herpderp5727 They probably were given to other Captains, it just wasn't shown to focus on the ones that got their Bankai back. Further, the Sternritter knew about the Captains getting their Bankai back, but they wouldn't know details like who had a Pill. As far as Mask and Gerard knew, Bankai stealing either wouldn't work or would be reversed immediately.
@@EmissaryOfStuff Meh, Kensei and Rose were still pretty worthless so it's not like it mattered LOL. Kensei mocks his lieutenant for losing to Mask when he lost to him in Bankai and Rose stupidly explaining how his Bankai works.
As a manga reader, I'd say without any doubt that my favourite bankai in this second season is Senjumaru's It would've been Shinji's (I love both him and Sakanade) if it wasn't for the feeling of randomness in its reveal As for the new season(s) I'd say that: - for the bankai already seen in the manga, Zaraki's unnamed bankai is the one I'm the most interested in - for the "realistic" unseen bankai Ukitakes - if I can make a unrealstic wish I'd say Iba, but I hope we'll at least see his shikai
I know it’s wishful thinking, but… How funny/cool would it be for Komamura to come back and goes all dark souls Sif, still a wolf but fully capable of using Tenken XD
Also, PLEASE LET UKITAKE HAVE A BETTER END I’LL TAKE A BANKAI REVEAL, HELL I’LL TAKE A FIGHT SCENE JUST DON’T LET HIM POP THE MIMIHAGI AND IMMEDIATELY LOSE IT
I think at this point, the only bankai reveal that would be amazing are Ichigo's new Bankai powers and possibly Aizen's if he has it. Although, maybe we can see Ukitake's Bankai if the story can flow naturally to that point.
It’s just straight hands 😂. No flash or flair, just him throwing hands and that’s great. One of the reasons I love Soi Fon too. Two captains in a world where some people can bend reality and these two run in and just start boxing 😂. They deserved better fights to really showcase their powers and skills.
The one and only bankai i wanted to see, not even ichigo’s new form bankai, its aizen’s bankai, for god sake, this is the perfect time for aizen to reveal his bankai
Even if it would be for a moment I’d love to see Ukitake bankai. I think he’d use it when he’s doing that ritual when the Quincies would attack the area and it would create an impenetrable shield that not even Luke’s shots could piece and would instead reflect back at the use with the strength of Ukitake mixed in with it overpowering the attacker
I remember Shinji saying something along the lines of "while it sucks you killed all my comrades here, at least now no one is in the way of me using my bankai" to the soldat he was fighting, it just happened soon after the pills were dispersed
i feel the simple reason why daiguren hyorinmaru changed, when jakuhou raikouben didn't is simply that the ice has always been modular and can take on any shape it wants.
I'm not expecting it, but I'd love to see Ichigo use the Final Getsuga Tenshou again against Juha. Now that he has an Asauchi, and actual knowledge of his Quincy powers, maybe he can keep his Reiryoku this time. That would go SO far towards illustrating Ichigo's growth and I can't think of any better fanservice opportunity. Imagine a whole battle of FGT vs SK Juha, dashing between the Royal Realm, the Seireitei, causing damage to Hueco Mundo and the Living World as Ichigo repeatedly pelts Juha, and every clash with Juha defending himself with the Almighty and Mimihagi's energy, It doesn't HAVE to be an overly long sequence, but oof. It'd be so nice. Especially if it took place atop the Royal Palace before his Zanpakuto is broken. Instead of just overtly breaking it, Juha could actually fight with Ichigo going through all of his Zanpakuto stages in sequence, before finally resolving to release FGT, and then when Juha releases the Almighty, he could just punch a whole clean through Ichigo or something, forcing him to collapse and separate from Zangetsu, allowing Orihime and Tsukishima to repair the blade still.
I wonder if Senjumaru’s bankai has some form of influence from the Soul King’s Almighty, seeing potential fates/future and being able to alter them or drag them from a time yet to come to the present.
Zabimaru withholding its true name actually makes total sense if you think about it. The zanpakuto spirits are reflections of their users’ own souls and we know Renji to have struggled a lot with considering himself worthy ever since Rukia was adopted way back when. I actually think it’s cool that we can see a real result of his inner turmoil brought to the fore and also being somewhat resolved in this arc. Kubo even made sure to include Rukia openly praising Renji’s strength right before he gets into the fight where his true bankai is first used.
Plus, we tend to forget that Renji has two spirits and not just one. Zabimaru isn't just the ape, whom we've seen was totally down to help Renji save Rukia and hopefully defeat Byakuya back in SS, but also the snake...whom never once offered to help. XD
Komamura bankai moves at the same speed of komamura there's no delay or anything like that I'm assuming he doesn't use flash step to not cause much damage and possibly hurt someone who like hiding or something.
Shinji really only loses for plot armor .. he could’ve pulled up on multiple top sternritter by making them kill each other! However that would kill the story. Kubo definitely put hímself in a plot hole
I hope they manage to shoe horn in hisagi's bankai just like shinji's bankai somewhere in cour 3 cause it has such a cool concept that it would be a waste if its not at least shown. It also gives hisagi some love and needed spotlight
The Vaizards zanpaktou aren't hollowified. Notice how they can't use their bankai and hollow mask at the same time? Kinda like how the sternritter can't use the stolen bankai and their own völlstendich at the same time. Ichigo is the only one who could use bankai and hollow mask together, because his zanpaktou is quite unique. As for Renji's bankai, it reflects how he views himself. The form we've known for a long time is large and bombaastic, just like Renji himself was for the longest time. Now however, he's more calm and focused, and Zabimaru believes in him, because he believes in himself. The last episode of cour 1 is called "the blade is me" for a reason, a zanpaktou and it's wielder are one and the same. Also it's true name is "two kings", and during the fight he calls out the names of said kings as he wields their respective forms, Hihio and Orochio. PS. As for Soi Fon's bankai, it comes with a built in mask already so she had the "partial mask" from the start :)
I really wish the way the story went in the beginning was that the vizards having hollowfied bankais is what drove back the sternritters and led to yhwach running out of time. And then that was how kisuke figured out how to do for everyone else temporarily.
He probably can just like ichigo in hell arc and renji og bankai is still a sword so it's not a good transporter unlike minazuki which is just legit a frickin flying manta ray
I loved seeing Shutara's bankai. now I also want to see the remaining three bankai of the 0 squad Ichibei; pen is mightier than the sword Shutara; red thread of fate Nimaiya; a blade that can cut anything, be it intangible or not. or; he forges his opponent into a zanpaktou? Kirio; draining her opponent's spirit energy, or turning them into a life giving plant? Kirinji; a pool of liquid light?
What if Ichigos Bankai has four stages? The first could be a Mugetsu clone who can use Blut Vene. The second one he can make Ceros who have Whites silhouette and explode on contact. The third he has Getsugas that can shake the 3 worlds then in the 4th and Final Stage he can make Infinite Vasto Lorde forms that are fast enough to exist across all timelines.
Hakka no Togame is my favorite from this cour and one of my favorites overall ❄️ Really hoping to see Ukitake’s, and its unlikely but I want to see aizens too, just to get closure by seeing the bankais of all the og gotei
I feel like Senjumaru's Bankai revolves around the Red Thread of fate. Usually it's something connected to Romance but characters like Vanessa from Black Clover have used that Idea to just generally Manipulate fate
The new bankai represents both of them, he uses both snake and baboon themed attacks (the baboon arm and the snake reiatsu bite that he used on masc de masculine). His old bankai as said is only half of his bankai; the snake half. That one had no baboon themes or attacks
true, renji's bankai forms could represent different aspects of his zanpakuto spirit, with the smaller snake being a weaker version and the baboon being the stronger one.
Renji first bankai showed more snake than monkey and you compare it to the new one you can see the new ones more balanced. Which even in the filler arc snake is shown as a little kid with monkey having to be the one that keep him/her in line which draws parallel to his first bankai which is monkey uniform base with snake being the brash attacker that can lose pieces. The bankai spirit might be that snake is older more trained and works in tamdum with snake as it's a more focused snake side.
I think that if we are going to see any new Bankai from cours 3 or 4, our best bets are probably Ukitake or maybe Hisagi. It seems strange that nearly anyone else would have a bankai we haven't seen yet who is also known to have one other than characters like the zero division who are presumably fully out of the picture after episode 27, or Aizen whom I think just isn't happening. That being said, I'd LOVE to be proven wrong.
I wish we had the chance to see Hisagi's bankai. We know he has it, but honestly he was thrown away like a ragdoll during the last Arc and didn't even have the chance to use it
I don’t have a good feeling for part 3 when the Quincy’s pull the uno reverse card on Squad Zero. Also, I’d like to see if Squad 9 Lt has mastered Bankai yet.
@MrTommo2304 I have a new hypothetical topic for you, if you think its good. Hypothetically, if Ulquiorra didnt die in the Arrancar arc. How much of a contender would he have been in the TYBW arc?
I think Senjumaru's bankai is the strongest, since it sets fate, defeating an opponent with the most likely way they will die. I can't rate Shirafude Ichimonji, since its mechanics are unclear. Hakka no Togane is my second best, since it can affect multiple targets, allows Rukia to survive deadly blows and loses no power in duels, great overall. Third strongest is the improved Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, its was a very versatile bankai that became even better.
I was sure you bring this up again, his shikai take away names BUT anyone could give a new name to them, so its have a weakpoint is anyone can do this, so if you give a new name then no one can give a new, maybe more powerful name and "seals them" forever, this could be the idea behind Ichibé bankai and shikai But its just my guessing, could be totally wrong :D
Right anyone could name something/someone just like how kenpachi name yachiru(the kid) and gained soul reaper powers don't know how it would affect ichibei powers tho
I never really realized this till now- but Rukia only activated her bankai and it killed As.. she didn't technically use any abilities yet right? She just turned into bankai mode? So her bankai must have other aspects/Abilities? Or did I misundestand? I guess I'm thinking of Yamamotos bankai release with the intense heat and then he has abilities he uses
Which of the new and upgraded Bankai revealed in TYBW Part 2 is your FAVOURITE? Which unknown Bankai do you want to see the most in Part 3? Let me know!

@@marceloasensiofilho3833
Reality into illusion? So, similar to Izanagi? If an event related to a target already subject to Kyoka Suigetsu occurred that Aizen didn't want, he'll turn it into an illusion making it so that it never happened?
@@herpderp5727 watch the video on Aizen's bankai on this channel it makes a lot of sense
Really excited to see what they do with Yoroichi, Ukitake, and Aizen
And that always translates beautifully to anime.
kubo has to do something with soi fon she needs more develpment
@@babytoshiro7014 that could be said of almost every character in the series lol
I'm not talking about everyone else.
@@babytoshiro7014 ok lol
What if she's not setting their fate specifically, and they're always going to die in a specific way, but instead she's changing when it happens?
The two bankai upgrades I really need to see is Zaraki’s getting a full name instead of the unnamed version we have now and more importantly. A completely original anime only bankai for Aizen. That would absolutely break the internet if Aizen uses some insane bankai in his battles in cour 3
Aizen's battle won't appear til cour 4 no? But yea i hope we get something more from him as well
zaraki's unnamed bankai and an original anime-only bankai for aizen would definitely be mind-blowing! it would be a treat for fans and create quite the buzz.
@@cnflxx yeah he has 1 fight in the last 6 chapters, if he gets a bankai, we wont see it until the final fight
Hope we get to see Hisagi's bankai at some point. If they can rectify Squad Zero's reputation I don't see why they can't do the same for him.
You know, his Bankai could be pretty useful against Gerard, Lille or maybe even Yhwach.
@@herpderp5727 Yeah I don't know who he would fight, but it'd be nice to see it somehow
Hisagi Bankai was made for the novels not in this arc, he uses against a specific enemie, it isn't a easy situation to use like Shinji.
The Visoreds should have been a trumpcard
That would require Kubo to actually care about them and that takes time away time and focus from Mayuri! Can’t have that!
Favorite bankai reveals in this cour 2 my Ranking :
1.Shitasu karagara shigarami no tsuji
2. Shirafude ichimonji
3.Sakashima yokoshima happo fusagari
4.Hokka no togame
5. Kokojo tengen myo dangai jo
6.Kinshara butodan
7. Tekken tachikaze
8. Soo zabimaru
nice ranking, those bankai reveals were definitely exciting to watch.
This two Zanpakuto would cause a lot of chaos on the battlefield and I'm a little sad that Kubo didn't use them more
I mean we hear Shinji telling Bambietta to call her friends lmao.
If they were actually there Shinji would godstomp them.
who knows, maybe Moria has some connections or secret sources for obtaining those bodies.
Someone else made this observation, but I'm very much riding with it:
Okay, so we know that Kubo is working hard to rectify the shortcomings of the manga, particularly with the involvement of the Zero Squad towards the story in general.
All of thems great ! Props to the studio/animators all of it, for giving massive justice for this series
I mean, what do you expect his Bankai to do though? Fire a super powerful Getsuga Tensho like always?
It would be great to give us another bankai from Squad Zero, Oetsu to be specific. 😁
I can think of some headcanon reasoning to explain a couple sticking points you had that occurred to me while watching. Toshiro's Bankai being made of ice makes it easier to change form by adding more or taking it away unlike Soi Fon's one big bazooka so once his Reiatsu hollowfies, the shape of the ice changes to reflect that hollow influence but i couldnt explain why his voice hollowfies and Soi Fon's doesn't
Im guessing that with the lack of information on how the Quincies steal Bankai, as i dont think many people knew they failed to take Ichigo's, Shinji thought his would be at risk too and decided against using it
With the zero division showing their true power I’d like to see a redo of aizen vs the zero division. I’d say the results are still the same but the discussion would be great to see.
Second this 🎉
When did Aizen fight zero division?
I hate that the 7th Kenpachi got killed. If he didnt, whew!!!!!!!! Boy the Sternritters and all of Soul Society was good as dead and gone!!!!!
@@delgande hypothetical matchup.
My theory as to why zabi never told renji its real name is becase its mad at him. Zabi imparted half her name to renji as an acknowledgement of his powers, and the 1st thing renji does with it, unless I'm misremembering coz its been years, is get it destroyed by byakuya.
Well that doesn't make any sense, maybe it got destroyed because she only gave him half of his actual powers lol
Perhaps Zabi knew Renji was desperate for external validation by defeating Byakuya, and wouldn't reveal herself until Renji validated himself.
Then why didn't Mask steal either Rose and Kensei's Bankai? Or Gerard steal Kenpachi's?
@@herpderp5727 I'm pretty sure those fights happened after the Pill had been distributed, so stealing the Bankai then would have been pointless.
@@EmissaryOfStuff
Except not all the captains have those pills (Rose, Kensei and Shunsui didn't), only ones who had their Bankai taken.
@@EmissaryOfStuff
Meh, Kensei and Rose were still pretty worthless so it's not like it mattered LOL. Kensei mocks his lieutenant for losing to Mask when he lost to him in Bankai and Rose stupidly explaining how his Bankai works.
As a manga reader, I'd say without any doubt that my favourite bankai in this second season is Senjumaru's
It would've been Shinji's (I love both him and Sakanade) if it wasn't for the feeling of randomness in its reveal
As for the new season(s) I'd say that:
- for the bankai already seen in the manga, Zaraki's unnamed bankai is the one I'm the most interested in
- for the "realistic" unseen bankai Ukitakes
- if I can make a unrealstic wish I'd say Iba, but I hope we'll at least see his shikai
I know it’s wishful thinking, but…
How funny/cool would it be for Komamura to come back and goes all dark souls Sif, still a wolf but fully capable of using Tenken XD
Also, PLEASE LET UKITAKE HAVE A BETTER END
I’LL TAKE A BANKAI REVEAL, HELL I’LL TAKE A FIGHT SCENE JUST DON’T LET HIM POP THE MIMIHAGI AND IMMEDIATELY LOSE IT
that would be epic, Komamura returning as a dark souls Sif-like wolf with the power of Tenken would be a sight to behold.
I would love this.
I just dont understand how Byakuya was able to avoid getting hit by Rukias Bankai 🤔
Would love to see your predictions on what anime only scenes the next cour can offer.
This might be my fav video on all of youtube
I think at this point, the only bankai reveal that would be amazing are Ichigo's new Bankai powers and possibly Aizen's if he has it. Although, maybe we can see Ukitake's Bankai if the story can flow naturally to that point.
Kensie’s Bankai is one of my favorites, even though he lost pretty bad to The Superstar/James. It’s still a cool ass Bankai!!
It’s just straight hands 😂. No flash or flair, just him throwing hands and that’s great. One of the reasons I love Soi Fon too. Two captains in a world where some people can bend reality and these two run in and just start boxing 😂. They deserved better fights to really showcase their powers and skills.
I wish we could have seen Holowfied Bankai Spirits, surely they feel something and I can imagine that some are maybe not too happy about it?
Imagine if any improvements for Vizards actually mattered.
They deserve better lol
imagine if, but unfortunately, improvements for Vizards didn't quite have the impact we hoped for.
I mean your not wrong, but you don’t have to be so brutal with it 😂 😂.
The one and only bankai i wanted to see, not even ichigo’s new form bankai, its aizen’s bankai, for god sake, this is the perfect time for aizen to reveal his bankai
love how it went Renji then Ryukia it’s the subtle things 😭 & then Byakuya then Kenpachi
I know this is but a pipe dream... but I would love to see Aizen's Bankai in the final battle.
Ichibe's weapon in general is just a giant fucking crayon and it's hilarious. "Look what i drew MA!"
That's that we could see aizen bankai, knowing that the anime has already shown does a bankai I would never seen
Core 2 is definitely the best anime section of the series yet. It's going to be hard for them to top it in the next two sections.
I’m a huge Shinji fan and I hope to see more of him in the future. He already did more than in the manga
His Bankai reveal was insane!
I remember Shinji saying something along the lines of "while it sucks you killed all my comrades here, at least now no one is in the way of me using my bankai" to the soldat he was fighting, it just happened soon after the pills were dispersed
Shinji's bankai was surprising but Senjumaru's blew my mind.
i feel the simple reason why daiguren hyorinmaru changed, when jakuhou raikouben didn't is simply that the ice has always been modular and can take on any shape it wants.
Senjumaru living up to her design.
Imagine a whole battle of FGT vs SK Juha, dashing between the Royal Realm, the Seireitei, causing damage to Hueco Mundo and the Living World as Ichigo repeatedly pelts Juha, and every clash with Juha defending himself with the Almighty and Mimihagi's energy,
It doesn't HAVE to be an overly long sequence, but oof.
I see Bleach content from MrTommo, I click like and watch
XD
Komamura's bankai is seriously underutilized, imagine his speed transfered to the Bankai, it should be super powerful based on laws physics
Komamura bankai moves at the same speed of komamura there's no delay or anything like that I'm assuming he doesn't use flash step to not cause much damage and possibly hurt someone who like hiding or something.
komamura's bankai has great potential, and if his speed were transferred to it, it could indeed be a formidable force.
Bleach season ended and we still getting content W Mr. Tommo
Shunsui and Kisuke are my fav Bleach Characters I'd love to see their bankai so much!
Shinji really only loses for plot armor .. he could’ve pulled up on multiple top sternritter by making them kill each other! However that would kill the story. Kubo definitely put hímself in a plot hole
Komamura showing up again a little early was nice
I hope he somehow gets to get where he wanted to
I hope they manage to shoe horn in hisagi's bankai just like shinji's bankai somewhere in cour 3 cause it has such a cool concept that it would be a waste if its not at least shown.
And then that was how kisuke figured out how to do for everyone else temporarily.
still kinda hope Renji can swap back to his old bankai at will...
would be useful for transportation
He probably can just like ichigo in hell arc and renji og bankai is still a sword so it's not a good transporter unlike minazuki which is just legit a frickin flying manta ray
I loved seeing Shutara's bankai. now I also want to see the remaining three bankai of the 0 squad
Ichibei; pen is mightier than the sword
Shutara; red thread of fate
Nimaiya; a blade that can cut anything, be it intangible or not. or; he forges his opponent into a zanpaktou?
Kirio; draining her opponent's spirit energy, or turning them into a life giving plant?
Kirinji; a pool of liquid light?
What if Ichigos Bankai has four stages? The first could be a Mugetsu clone who can use Blut Vene. The second one he can make Ceros who have Whites silhouette and explode on contact. The third he has Getsugas that can shake the 3 worlds then in the 4th and Final Stage he can make Infinite Vasto Lorde forms that are fast enough to exist across all timelines.
I noticed that when Kensei was beaten by Mask De Masculine, the arch part of his Bankai was broken, but when he beats up Pepe, it’s seemingly fixed.
Because it's not broken
Hakka no Togame is my favorite from this cour and one of my favorites overall ❄️
Really hoping to see Ukitake’s, and its unlikely but I want to see aizens too, just to get closure by seeing the bankais of all the og gotei
Senjumaru is fucking amazing I loved it so much! I wish we had this kinda excitement during season 1 and 2. Not just exact replicas of the manga.
Just a minor detail but Shinji's sword has rings on the end of the hilt and the blade when in Bankai, not just on the blade.
Rukia, shinjo's and the squad 0 ones were my favorite
I feel like Senjumaru's Bankai revolves around the Red Thread of fate. Usually it's something connected to Romance but characters like Vanessa from Black Clover have used that Idea to just generally Manipulate fate
I need Ishin Bankai vs Hashwald (flames!) and Aizen's Bankai vs Ywhach.
love the work!
Honestly for renji, I think each bankai is an aspect oh his zanpakto spirit. The weaker version is the small snake, while the stronger is the baboon.
The new bankai represents both of them, he uses both snake and baboon themed attacks (the baboon arm and the snake reiatsu bite that he used on masc de masculine). His old bankai as said is only half of his bankai; the snake half. That one had no baboon themes or attacks
@@hyacinth5040 thank you, that way does sound better
true, renji's bankai forms could represent different aspects of his zanpakuto spirit, with the smaller snake being a weaker version and the baboon being the stronger one.
My favorite bankai in this cour was Komamura’s bankai
Your videos butter My biscuits thank you
Senjumaru's bankai, probably is the Fates' Loom in Greek mythology.
I wish we had the chance to see Hisagi's bankai. We know he has it, but honestly he was thrown away like a ragdoll during the last Arc and didn't even have the chance to use it
Senjumaru's was the best, I wonder what new Bankai we'll get in Cour 3
I don’t have a good feeling for part 3 when the Quincy’s pull the uno reverse card on Squad Zero. Also, I’d like to see if Squad 9 Lt has mastered Bankai yet.
@MrTommo2304 I have a new hypothetical topic for you, if you think its good. Hypothetically, if Ulquiorra didnt die in the Arrancar arc. How much of a contender would he have been in the TYBW arc?
Tbh.... I'd really like to see either see Tenjiro's or maybe Ukitake
Most anticipated bankai: Aizen's, Oetsu's and Ukitake's.
The coolest bankai in this part was senjumaru’s and the bankai im waiting so hard to see is shisui’s bankai katen kyukatsu karamatsu shinju.
Senjimaru's Shatastu karagara shigaraminoshuji and shinji's Bandai sakashima yakoshima happofusagari.
Don't know about you guys, but I hope to see Omaeda's bankai.
I think he needs to train his shiaki a little more first 😂. That thing is so brittle a slight breeze could shatter it lo😂.
The unknown I want to see most is Ukitake considering the rest of Squad 0 is probably off the table
I believe her Bankai "steals" fate from the future, and enacts it now. That is why it is so broken it has to be sealed, I like that.
I was sure you bring this up again, his shikai take away names BUT anyone could give a new name to them, so its have a weakpoint is anyone can do this, so if you give a new name then no one can give a new, maybe more powerful name and "seals them" forever, this could be the idea behind Ichibé bankai and shikai
But its just my guessing, could be totally wrong :D
Right anyone could name something/someone just like how kenpachi name yachiru(the kid) and gained soul reaper powers don't know how it would affect ichibei powers tho
I never really realized this till now- but Rukia only activated her bankai and it killed As.. she didn't technically use any abilities yet right? She just turned into bankai mode? So her bankai must have other aspects/Abilities? Or did I misundestand?
I guess I'm thinking of Yamamotos bankai release with the intense heat and then he has abilities he uses
