Tbh, a lot of it IS luck. Looting efficiently is a huge skill to have, but you can't control WHAT spawns on maps. Some days loot will all be super densely packed and close to main, others you'll find a single tattered metal sheet and everything else spawned in a wall

beehives spawn later then scrap items so if you spam scan right as you land it will show the scrap items first then the bees so if its 15 then changes to 19 that means there are 4 beehives
