Absolutly love how the S3 sounds since the facelift... i know the pop's n bangs do nothing, but it just makes me want one even more (Would love to hear how loud they would be with an after market downpipe+exhaust) Enjoy!

Can you tell me why you like the pops and bangs ? +MrMattyt9 +VagCarUk I'm curious as surely you're burning so much more fuel and what for? I suppose it's maybe a 'look at me' kind of gimmick? Bit like the old Mk1 & Mk2 Ford Escorts with wide wheels, vinyl roofs, furry dice and if they couldn't afford a sport exhaust, they'd drill a couple of holes in the stock exhaust so people would turn around and look...even though it lowered the power and increased the fuel consumption. Tell me what you genuinely like about it please. Also, what CC / BHP is it?

Nice video. I also have an S3 and love it. I think the old style dashboard is better than the virtual. More sporty.
highgate14 the new MMI dashboard does not disappoint in the sporty department. It makes it look more upscale and sportier than its price suggest. Feels like you're in a super car.

Pitiful! I had a 1999 pug 309gti sounded better with just an added k&n induction kit as did my hubbys 2.5 Impreza wrx

I just said the 309 gti sounded better, which is my view. Both it and the Impreza had a deeper engine note which I personally prefer and The 309gti WAS a 1990 car which was probably b4 u guys could drive and cars were different then. The Impreza was bloody good though and on an 08 plate, it was the beast of midland scoobies. I've gone sensible now tho in my old age and got an Astra SRi Sports Tourer. I'm not meaning to be offensive with my views on your car, just saying what I like better. When I saw your video amongst ones recommended to me, I looked out of curiosity as always been a girl racer for like 30 years. The Audi seems to have quite a high engine note and the popping just seems unnecessary. I would've thought it was annoying. A guy in the scooby club had his popping and nobody would follow him on club runs so he was pretty much a Billy no mates
Gena - was a little aggressive! yeah... all these sounds are just fake sounds. lets be honest all these hot hatchs are just 2.0 turbos now no v6 or v8s etc for real noise. Audi have tweaked the latest s3 for pops and bangs similar to the rs3. Its just a fashion thing atm! sounds bloody good we think though haha!
