- Today I set up another tank, but I couldn't decide what fish to add. After thinking over and over I came up with a plan to make this new tank a great add on to our fish room.

I'd love to see that larger mystery shark put in a grow out tank to see how big it can get and maybe get a more definitive ID on it once it gets bigger.
Love the Cross River Puffer! Next grow out a MBU Puffer & call it Val, it would be a fan favorite!!!
That gar is beautiful and would make the 125 pop. And in the grow out tank I would definitely do one of those musky, and maybe a baby paddle fish until he has to move. Would be cool to see.

Maybe try growing out an aba aba knife, or some cool cats like a goonch yarelli, tigrinus or silver dorado. Keep up the good work, new facility and tanks are looking sick - can't wait to see the giant trevs when they are bigger.
I don't think it's super common but it would be cool to see like a trout/steelhead being grown out or other colder water species
New tank looks great! I know the struggle, I have the same problem when I set up a new tank. I can’t wait to see the Goliath tigers grow. The cross river was a good choice too. At some point I’d love to see one of those albino alligator gars grown out. They are beautiful
The tanks look awesome!!! It would be super neat to watch a Vampire fish grow up in the new tank. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
You should get a mbu puffer they are really fun and they get pretty big so you can keep them with monster fish. I never had any bad experience with them. Another fish that I like is the afer knife fish it’s really rare and probably my favorite fish. It also gets around 70 to 80 cm so it’s a monster fish. Other fish that are really cool are the aba aba knife fish, zebrina pike cichlid, payara, bowfin, flagtail, giant gourami, goonch catfish and freshwater tiger morey eels
Tiger muskie. Northern pike. Yellow perch. Grow them in a tank all same size so they don't try to eat someone. Would be sick Midwest tank 🤔 and maybe smallmouth or largemouth or rock bass 🤙
I think I prefer tank B to be honest, and that cross river puffer is a beauty!
As to what you should grow out in there, maybe stick Matt in the tank and see if you can grow him even taller 😂 imagine the camera angles

Rod the big drain on electricity are the pumps! I'm not scientist or engineer but I'm pretty sure bigger pumps are more efficient than a lot of small ones. Someone who knows about pumps might be able to come up with an efficient set up :)
I'd grow out a black ghost knife. I was growing one out before but sadly had to rehome it as I was getting ready to move across the country. That guy was so much fun to watch eat and easily quadrupled in size for the year I had him.

I would love to see a peacock bass growing out. colors would look really nice with the white sand!
Do you watch OFR? They have a whole tank for different Large peacocks and one peacock thats too big for them that lives with the full grown Pacu's. Its Huuuge.
I’d love to see a group of peacock bass, a gator gar and a rtc, I’ve had them all except the gator there hard to get here in the UK
Tank B. And although I like the dolphins, I think with that tank and their size they might overwhelm things a bit. Both knocking stuff around and just being too big compared to the rest. I'd rather see another Af-Arowana and another high/medium level swimmer or two - something with a oval, round, or disc shape to offset all the long fish.
I like the light sand in the tank you just built. Having a mix of different sands is cool, so not all the tanks are the same. Shoot you mix white and black sand and do a tank with that.
I LOVE the wood on the left like that, kind of looks like a big chair hahah....those dolphin fish are way cool.. I love that synodontis longirostris (had to pause the video to spell it haha) -he is absolutely stunning.
The logs that are upside look amazing, kind of like lagoonish .. you need to decorate more once you get things more set up Rod !! oooooooooooo yaaa a puffer ( that guy is beautiful - its so cool, their face is like almost human like and look full of personality ) crossing fingers hes a good boy cause he is amazing !!
That t-shirt is cool !! Like these kind of things ! Once you get more set up, should do some display tanks like this in the front to show people what kind of fish can be put together and difference scapes !! This new tank is more my style ! Love it !!
That's an awesome monster growout tank. Just spent my Saturday doing a substrate swap on 180G & 75G. 75 is now african cichlid tank & 180 South American. Monster growout ready with 1,000 in the works 🤩 😎 🤙

Goliaths have been my favorite fish ever since the legendary episode of River Monsters. I'd NEVER swim in the Congo lol. But would love to visit it. 👍

I think you should try growing out European perch plus they would great in the tank!

It's interesting how you make smaller things the same style as a monster tank with all the fish being different, instead of many of the same fish as we usually put in a smaller tank. Looks pretty good though. My favorite are the huge yellow spotted catfish, second is a tie with the dolphins and puffer
I know that you don't have Frashwater clams but I think that it would be really cool to put them in a grow out tank and the clams will help keep your water cleaner because they are filter eaters . I also know where you can buy them if you're interested in getting some has little babbies because I'm waiting for my calms to be delivered to me and I actually had some in the past and they actually do a really good job at cleaning the water and they will go under the sand and keep the sand clean also. But I got those clams in the past to feed to my puffer but he passed away and all puffer fish love live clams and it helps them with their teeth because I know that puffer fish teeth grow their whole life time
Love you new fish room, i think you need to keep a tank for the Mangrove Jack and a tank that can have a mix of fish that is for the Barramundi and a Saratoga do a full on Aussie tank.
I love the puffer fish. It would look great in the tank with the silver fish and the black sand.

Brother, a wolf fish, a snake head, a tiger fish, maybe some red devils, a green terror or two, that Florida gar(the albino one), some plecos of course. That would be a nice predator tank for real...let me know what you think???✌🏼🦾💪✌️👍🤪
This came out fantastic, that puffer is a stunner for sure! Not sure if you have ever checked out this fish but it would be a pretty cool addition to your African tank. But you would need a sub adult for this current set up. " Ctenopoma acutirostre" they are amazing fish with big personalities. And do really well in community tanks with other predators.
I have a Dolphin fish, I've never seen them that big.....very cool!
Bowfins I think would be an awesome add
haven't seen them in aquariums but they get decent in size
The substrate in the African tank makes the water murky and look like snow is constantly falling. I feel like the tank would look nicer with a different type of sand. I love the fish variety in the African tank though so it does get my vote
North American tank with paddlefish, trout, bluegills, bass, sturgeon etc.
A variety of African cichlids such as some ob’s and haps would look great in white sand
I’m eager to see the dolphin fish grow out plus my favorite fish of all are Synodontist and that one’s sharp looking.

personally i like a nice garnet sand it looks nice and is something different than black/white and the bichirs look great on it
I like them both but the silver ones are beautiful when the swim together, hopefully when the other tanks fish feel not so shy it will be cool
For an Asian set up maybe get some dats, mahseer, goonch, pangasius and maybe giant carp or an Asian arow

You should definitely get fresh water clams and breed them so you will have a good bit of food to feed to your puffer fish
As an Aussie, I’ve gotta say, would be sick to see a barramundi grow out from a lil bloke!
The one thing I hated about changing my tank to a finer sand was the clumps. Took a while but as the fish stirred it up it stopped.

I say those Tiger Fish would be epic to grow out with the albino Florida Gar since they are all toothy beautiful beasts!!! The baddest, most aggressive looking predators for the best predatory fish channel!!!

I reckon a massive sail fin Pleco or a common (albino ofc) or a school of clown loaches to put in a planted display tank in your wear-house keep up the amazing vids

Don't you find that white sand washes out the color of the fish? I always prefer a darker substrate. That spotted cat is gorgeous! And I love the colors of that puffer but he makes me nervous. I've never trusted a pufferr in a community tank

Tank B...I'm a puffer fish fan..HOLY GRAIL BABY..
You see I'm the same way about the sand color. I like the white and I also like the black. So what I did for my 60g saltwater reef tank was I ended up mixing the 2 colors together and I honestly couldn't be much happier with it. It looks wayyyy better with the 2 colors mixed together. You really oughta try it out for the next tank and see what you think about it. I'm pretty sure you'll like it better as well.

I don't think many people have Tiger Muskie as pet fish, so it would be great to see one in your growing-up tank. Gars seem to be more popular, we saw many of them on your unboxing and rescue videos. Tiger Muskies are different story.
As for your tanks, both look stunning but tank A seems to be more natural in my opinion. Sand in tank B is a bit too white, it looks like wet flour or gypsum (no offence!). And hey, if you feel extra crazy and bold you can always use blood-red sand, like this one from your old tank! Both dark and light fish would be visible i believe. Life is too short to do things in boring way!
you should do a baby dolphin (Mormyrus Tapirus) and/or elephant nose (Gnathonemus Elephas) set up. i havnt seen much on either of them and they are such cool species
