Please, I am a private pilot and am training for commercial. Unfortunately, I can't start my instrument training until I am "checked out" in a glass cockpit (g1000) Aircraft. I have done all my training and just need my checkride. Unfortunately, it's been a month since I last flew.

Moving to the desert southwest from the St. Louis MO area was the best choice I’ve ever made. I’m done with all this severe weather crap, my entire life I’ve had to take cover from tornado warnings multiple times a year.
Not fond of desert. But at least they don't have to plow the hail like they did in Texas. Thanking God I live in CT. Seems to rain a lot but seldom a tornado and by the time hurricanes get here they mostly fizzle. We have blizzards but snow has to melt sometime.
Trust me, it’s coming! These storms are created on purpose - a depopulation agenda. If the tornados, “land hurricanes”, hail, fires, or floods don’t take you out then they’ll try to think up something else.

I live in a mobile home and have a toddler and an 80 year old father who can't be moved from his hospice bed without EMS. Can't leave him but can't stay either. Any advice on how to be prepared for a tornado? I'm always looking for good ideas on how I can be prepared.
I don't mean this sarcastically. Pray.
Are you able to dig a hole big enough to lay down in? You can build a decent shelter out of wood and a couple bags of concrete to anchor it all. People survive laying in ditches so imagine being in a ditch only you’ve got roof over you.
I recently moved to Round Rock from Florida, my son and i lived in a single wide trailer, it made it through irma , my whole yard and light post was torn apart but my little trailer made it ,🥰🙏🏻, btw im use to bad storms and hurricanes, but dang Texas has too many tornadoes 🥴
If the course or path ends up heading towards your area, you would all have to go to a nearby storm shelter or a hospital somehow if there are no solid or willing basements around that you can access, or drive to another location until it passes. I don't think any other option would be secure enough to be reliable.
I would move my friend. Either move into a house that has a basement or one that has a storm shelter, or go online and look up storm shelters. Idk if you can afford that or not. But if you can, or you find a place with a basement, call medics when there’s a warning and have them come move your dad. My only other suggestion is to get out of Dodge.

OK, its official....Wednesdays suck in Ohio for weather lately! I take my 3 year old to OT every Wednesday at 10 am (the only day of the week that we HAVE to leave the house), and the past 2 have been crap weather, and now next Wednesday again. I can't win lol

The only place in texas not getting rain is where I live in del rio. All storms look like they are gonna hit us but split at last minute, going around us, and reforming once past us. It's been dry dry dry.

3:15 Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but that is not the Hill Country. It’s the Panhandle ( Amarillo/ Lubbock) or the Permian Basin ( Midland/ Odessa) .
The Texas Hill Country is 300 plus miles away South East of Abilene near Austin , Fredericksburg, Borne, Dripping Springs, Kerville, Canyon Lakes, etc 😊 Thank you for your weather coverage

Northcentral and Northeast Texas has had crazy weather for several weeks in a row! We are just getting beat up by the weather. We're wondering what the hell is going on? It's not been this bad.

hard to tell when things are gonna hit without a time stamp, that 21z number, is that hours from when you start the radar loop? it doesn't seem to correlate with military time. maybe bc of my time zone. It's my biggest gripe though with these videos.

Will GA/SC ever see severe weather or even snow in the winter? Our weather has been so mild the last couple of years. I can't remember the last time we had a legit tornado or hail threat. Not saying I *want* severe, just observing...
