In Chinas case it is understandable that they are a much larger economy and military wise we can't match them in numbers,, but strangely Congress says India should be afraid of Pakistan.. Mani Shankar Iyer has always been an opportunist and was one of the many fortune seekers who managed to get into Rajeev Gandhi’s inner circle. Most of the has left the party, as they are all seeking greener pastures. Even though a politician, he even managed to get nominated to Rajya Sabha by the president, because he endeared himself to Soniya Gandhi, after Rajeev’s death. Now of course, such positions are scarce and now he is trying his luck with Left parties. Recently he was one of the guests invited for a state sponsored extravaganza, by Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief minister of Kerala. This event was boycotted by Congress party, and he refused to heed their call, and went ahead. He made a statement about Pakistan a few months ago, and BJP is using as a political tool to hit Congress. Nobody knows if Mani Shankar is still a part of the congress, and even if he is, not one of their top leaders. But what about Advani, who praised Mohammed Ali Jinnah, and endorsed his secular credentials. Why would someone like him, honoured with Bharat ratna, the highest civilian award. Modi personally went to his house to give the award. Pakistan can claim that it is an endorsement of Jinnah by the Indian Government. Did any body from Congress able to make this an election issue? Congress has no leaders and the congress working committee is full of octogenarians and yes men, who has no standing on their own. All they know is to leave all the decisions to Rahul who simply does not seem to have any idea what is talking about.

The fact is that The attitude of aiyar is actually the attitude of Congress against Pakistan and that is the reason why Congress could not do anything against pak after soooo many terrorist attack from Pakistan..... Just look at border how peaceful it is now.... We used to hear almost everyday 1-2 soldiers died at pak border after unprovoked firing by pak etc.
