100% agree on the engineer-should-do-the-thinking. I saw a lot of people around me mindlessly asking these LLMs as if they're some magic crystal ball that can read people's mind and magically solve their problem. I think a better way of using these tools is to make them write concrete implementations, while you give them the abstract algorithm to solve the problem.
