Bro ur told only lower surface bearing but why need to check clearance in top bearing, it means top bearing also fitted oil grooves and hydrodynamic lubrication, it is the same or not
Clearance are always taken opposite to the load acting surface, main bearing load acts on bottom half clearence taken on top,crank pin bearing load acts on top so clearence taken on bottom side,Next about lubrication oil wedges are formed which carries load as cross head bearing has only oscillation movement not rotating fully.
Lubrication. Oil is injected 20 degree before BDC or 20 degree Before TDC please clear it. At 4:30 u told that lube oil feed 20 degree Before BDC and in your writing material u mentioned at 20 degree Before BDC please clear it sir. Thank you
Hydrostatic mean pressurized lubrication.. But the motive is to make sure that full film lubrication is achieved in Crosshead. For that this arrangement is made by Man b&w engine. I have told that by this arrangement we are ensuring that instead of boundary lubrication scenerio which was there earlier design is eliminated and full flim lubrication scenerio is tried to maintain Thank for watching and keep supporting and sharing knowledge!!!!

Sir which type of separate x head pump is used in sulzer engine to increase the pressure from 3-4 baar to 12 to 14 baar ??

It's after BDC bro because when piston moving upwards that time it's easy to inject oil for crosshead lubrication.....
