Steve Nash ,Tim Duncan , Toni Parker , Manu Ginobili , Amare Stoudemire I miss this nba days ❤️❤️❤️
3:23 Ginobili being his usual bad-ass self.
Crazy looking at Phoenix we was running the modern day offense majority of the teams are doing now🔥💯.. Rally In Da Valley
It was a rarity to see 120+ points back then, and even if it was, most likely involving the Suns.
Phoenix invented what Warriors pioneered today. Heck, there's a game where Suns beat the Warriors 154 to 121... _in regulation_ back in 2008 IIRC.
Amare left this series with 37.0 points 9.8 rebounds 1.0 steal and 1.6 blocks
Nash with 23.2 points 3.8 rebounds 10.6 assists 1.2 steals
The Spurs had 3 players with 20+ points and played some beautiful basketball with the Suns pace.
Team ball will always be the most fun to watch for me.
6:06 - 6:19 Nash Godlike pg run
Nash was so fun to watch back then.
Ginoboli was 🔥!
Nash vs Parker true PGs
Spurs so tough
Classic game
I remember the narrative coming into the series was that the Spurs defense will hold the Suns to 85-90 ppg. The Spurs instead decided to run with Phoenix, the scores remained in the 110's, and the pace was played at Phoenix's pace.
Back when Ginobili had hair 🤣🤣🤣.
Joe Johnson was needed
No doubt! Especially with only a 36-hour rest after the overtime clincher against the Mavs.
Everybody's all amazed by Nash and Amar'e while duncan 8:58 just silently dunks on 3 people.
....that's why
Manu and nash same hair
kawhi was still 16 years old at this time
Probably still a bitch too
13 years old
Suns were so conservative with this run style golden state took the suns blue print and went all in Phoenix should have been more like golden state then they could have won at least 2 titles
They didn’t have enough defense, GS played defense .
Here after Suns beat clippers in game 1 of wcf
Same lol
3:23, that Nash defence....Running away from the player.
Wow Tony Parker really have a good experience on this games coz he is guarding a Mvp. He really improved his game on the next years.
Why did the arena look so small
@ 1:48 Same offense, Chris Paul & Deandre Ayton🔥.
They're very similar in a way that they also never win
Spurs own the suns
0:34 sums it up
@Brandon Ohara Manu with the drive and jam to start the game. Set the tone for SA
@@pavement66 horrible timing on your part
I believe game 2 started almost the same except I think Parker with layup lol
Why is the video quality so bad. Is this from 2005 or from 1985?
You have to remember this was in 2005 I was born in 2005 the quality was just starting to get good it’s not where the line is in the way
@@jordanboteler8978 idk man. I was 6 years old in 2005 and I don't remember the quality being that bad. Maybe my memory is just bad cause I was a little kid though. 🤷♂️
@@isaiahcampbell3992 yeah
@@isaiahcampbell3992 i started watching basketball in 2010
@@isaiahcampbell3992 yeah I’ve seen footage of golf matches where sometimes you couldn’t even see the screen sometimes but I think bc if it was more expensive it was better
The Phoenix Suns got exposed in this western conference finals series against the San Antonio Spurs.
Remember how cocky the media was about the Suns winning? The Spurs couldnt hang with the Suns they said. The Spurs out ran them, but played defence too.
@@TheH3dgie It doesn't matter how much the media overhypes the Phoenix Suns, every year in the playoffs, they keep getting exposed.
Where is joe Johnson
Rob Smith joe Johnson got injured in game 2 of the WCSF that year
Yup. He missed the first two games of the series and came back for Game 3 wearing a mask.
AMERICA WEST ARENA
Steve Nash failed to deliver:
2004-05: Nash was MVP, Phoenix had the best record in the NBA and they lose in the conference finals
2005-06: Nash was MVP, Phoenix won the Pacific division, and they lose in the conference finals
Nash never played in the NBA Finals. Great regular season player, but not a winner.
its a team game in 2006 amare was hury in 2005 spurs are a better team
Nash did not deserve either one of those MVP awards. In 2004-5 it should have been Nowitzki, Garnett, or James
In 2005-6 it should have been James.
@@fishbone3333 LeBron deserved the MVP over Nash in 05 even though his team didn't make the playoffs in the eastern conference???
@@Riles3152 Much more so for James in 2005-06 as opposed to 2004-05.
In 2004-05 Dirk Nowitzki should have won the award. Nash only had the 3rd most win shares on his own team!
I think we all can agree that no matter who we debate as deserving of the 04/05 and 05/06 MVP awards, there is a strong consensus that Nash should not have won either one of them.
@@fishbone3333Why did they give it to him then?
