There are a lot of even older BTS Army, too. Like in our 50's, 60's and 70's. Their songs speak to life conditions that anyone of any age can understand, relate to and draw comfort from. I wish their music had been around when I was young, but I'm happy that I get to enjoy it now.😊
You mentioned that not many artists sing songs related to social issues and stuff like that. Listen to BTS' Baepsae and watched them do the "up yours" dance (😂) here: ua-cam.com/video/2PKLsshsuZo/v-deo.html. The song is best explained here: ua-cam.com/video/RP4Qbh2rXFU/v-deo.html Enjoy!
Have you reacted to “my time” by jungkook? Red suit with the slicked back black hair with his undercut from “on?” Such an amazing song and his performance is… sexy af lol
I don’t see many reactions to bts , so I don’t know if you don’t do them anymore… but if you do.. I’d love to see you learn more about them , their music and kinda who they are… no biggie if you’re not… something that really hit me that these boys are truly out here actually trying to make the world a better place however they can….but to have a fandom so inspired by these artists that they would even try to match that 1 million dollar donation … like that’s not something you hear everyday and they really do so much and their music I definitely the vessel they’re able to send their messages through… they’re extremely unique and special. Beautiful , talented and just so much better inside even though they’re exceptional in the outside …. Hard not to love them…. And root for them IMO… I am proud to be a 36 year old army 💜
I’m 67 and found BTS in 2016. They helped me recover from the death of my husband of 40 years. I don’t know what kind of music you like, but I suggest Black Swan, Hip Hop Lover- live performance, ON Kinetic Manifesto, Danger, and the Tiny Desk live performance. These cover several genres and give a vague hint at their depth.

I'm so sorry for your loss, thank you so much for sharing 💜 I truly am so happy to see that their music helps so many people, I wish I found them earlier but I am grateful to have the experience now!!
Dearest ARMY sister, we share a story. I'm 54 and found BTS just a few months after my husband died. They saved my life. I hope you are doing well. I'm sending you lots of love 💜
The BTS demographic is so wide, so high and so inclusive. I am sorry for your losses. I don't know what I'd have done this year without my husband, going through cancer. BTS playlists helped get me through chemo and radiation therapy, surgery... I'm 51!
I am 52, I stumbled onto Epiphany (Jin's solo) in 2018 and Jin dragged me down the rabbit hole where the other six boys waited ... I have been happier and taken better care of myself because they taught me how to love myself.
That is one of my favorites too. I loved to listens all their songs. BTS members are Angels without wings that helps deserving and good people around the World.

Thank you all so much for the support!! I can't wait to share my BTS journey with everyone 💜 Updates: I am currently in the process of recording my reactions to some of the music you all recommended, and I think I'm also falling for RM 😭
Ok fine.... I will share RM🤣🤣🤣 From what you have shared: Jungkook is your “bias” and RM is your “bias wrecker”...(I explain it below). I am OT7 with a wrecker. What that means is I am “one true 7” in that I like ALL 7 members of BTS ...BUT RM (aka Kim Namjoon ) is my wrecker in that he grabs my attention for him which “ wrecks” it for the others🤣💜.... You will learn all the phrases and terms the more you become familiar with BTS and Army. For now you should learn the following: A bias= is the member you like the most An Ultimate Bias= The member who ultimately grabs your attention the most from all the others A Bias Wrecker = The member who demands your attention away from your bias I know of Army's who have a Double Bias/ Double Wrecker etc..... (Also Rosan aka "XCeleste" said that BTS debut on 6/12/2013.... ARMY and BTS celebrate it on 6/13/2013 as the official debut date...And you will notice "6132013" throughout their videos especially on cars as a license plate number (pretty cool, right!!?!!!) (One more thing in Korea the last name is listed first so for example, Kim Namjoon in America would be written Namjoon Kim).
Awww u wrote back to me your so nice I will definitely watch your reaction videos 😜 BTS are amazing lol it's going to be a long journey 😂 these guys have their own tv shows 🤣 run BTS ,bon voyage, the scoop, american hustle it's insane of how much content they have 😅 lol I'm still learning about BTS a year later it's so much to learn because you have to start learning about Karean culture kpop and the big three to really understand how important BTS really are
I'm 61, from Texas, and a devoted ARMY since 2013. They have inspired me to do a lot of charity work, and volunteering for various things. They have a message that goes out to any culture, any age, any gender. I have a 18 yr old niece in Amman, Jordan who is ARMY. We Facetime during comebacks, and share our joy and excitement, even though my Arabic isn't good, and her English is not much better. It doesn't matter... we're both ARMY. We are part of the global family.
I'm your daughter age 18 years I'm army too wow I'm really proud that I made best decision to choose BTS 💜 when haters say that BTS are only for young and girls fans I can now say that it's not for only girls we don't have age limit 😘💜💜💜 we are family so we don't care about age 💜💜💜😭😭😭😭😭
@@boravbora Well said! There are thousands, many thousands, of older Army around the world. And age, gender, ethnicity, etc... doesn't matter. We're just Army.
@@xuannghi6472 Yes many army's knew Jungkook way before they knew about bts .its not just my opinion many people experienced the same .You can see that in many comment section and this video is also a proof.
@@user-jc1yc4hl7q wow that’s interesting, I thought it’s Jimin or Taehyung more famous, there are a lot of people told me that Jungkook gets hate the most among BTS members and I was shocked when I heard that. He’s my bias :((
I'm 55 years old and I found BTS 2 years ago. The first song I listened to from them was Spring Day and it resonated so deeply with me. At that time, I was still grieving for the death of my 27 year old son from aneurysm. Their music brought me so much comfort and healing.
My deepest condolences to your loss! I was introduced to BTS by my oldest son and “Spring day” was the first song I fell in love and became ARMY. I love these 7 talented and humble boys dearly. They are true artists that make us believe in goodness and kindness in life. Sending you love. Take care and stay safe🤗
I'm 33 years old and my 4 children ages from 3-12 are also part of the Army. They definitely helped us through quarantine. We were bummed their concert was cancelled but we were able to enjoy the online concert. Welcome to the fandom 💜
That is so cool. Sorry you did not get to do the concert this year. Hopefully next year will be different. By the way I am 37 yo. Cancer survivor. hugs.-baby ARMY NY USA 💜
@karyn chambers my husband makes fun of us listening to BTS on repeat. My coworkers make comments as well. Not everyone is open minded. If they really knew who they were as people they would be a part of Army. You are not a freak. You are amazing. We are all in this together as a family. Keep your head up 💜
isn't it better for them to react to their music first though? that's what they actually stand for. knowing the members individually is important but it will give a very limited level of understanding. besides, the video WHO IS BTS has become very outdated and has some stereotypes about the members.
Actually no, in my personal experience I first needed to know who they are as people and quite frankly needed to see that the kpop stereotypes don't fit them to really give their music a shot
It’s hard recommending their music because they cover so many different genres. •Start off with On Kinetic Manifesto Film because I believe it’s one of their most recent songs that represents BTS the best •My favorite song by them is Louder Than Bombs •Ugh! by BTS’ rapline is straight fire •House of Cards by BTS’ vocal line is also good. I would recommend The Truth Untold, but V doesn’t have many lines in it. •RM’s solo song Persona •Suga’s solo song Shadow •J-Hope’s solo song Boy Meets Evil •Jungkook’s solo song My Time •Jimin’s solo song Lie •V’s solo song Singularity •Jin’s solo song Epiphany

Ooooo yessss!! I'm so excited I've been needing more good music!!!
Yes YOU CAN join the army anyone can and Oh my God your reaction was so welcoming , pure and open minded, many people have been so closed minded and not trying to understand what bts is portraying . I recently got into the Fandom and let me tell you, I wasn't about kpop 😔 but then I saw they released dynamite and that's where it started. Honestly bts have helped me with whenever I'm sad 😥. To get to know they're personalities I recommend you to watch their variety show called 'bts run' on UA-cam or an app called vlive It really helps you to know them personally. Here are some of their nick names: Namjoon aka RM aka joon aka joonie, Hoseok aka jhope aka sunshine aka hobi, Yoongi aka suga aka lil meow meow aka 😸, Jin aka jinnie aka worldwide handsome (wwh), Taehyung aka V aka tae aka tae tae, Jungkook aka kookie aka jungkookie aka bunny 🐰, Jimin aka chim chim aka mochi. I would love to see you grow along the bts journey and slowly become an army 💜 💜(I used a purple heart because V made up a slogan which is I purple you and now we use it)

Thank you so much 💜💜💜 I've heard so many great things about Dynamite I seriously can't wait to react to it!! Omggggggg Kookie is such a cute nickname 😭 I can see already that Jungkook is my bias lol
@ In addition to reacting to their Dynamite MV, you should also check out their 2020 MTV VMAs Dynamite performance (my personal favorite)...their dancing while singing live is amazing! Also, Dynamite is their first song, sung in all English & has made it to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Loved your reaction. BTS connects on a deep & emotional level with people because they're so genuine & caring.
Just some more information on BTS. BTS consists of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Jin vocalist age 27, Suga rapper age 27, J-Hope rapper age 26, RM rapper age 26, Jimin vocalist age 25, V vocalist age 24, and Jungkook vocalist age 23. They do all kinds of genres of music hiphop, rnb, pop, latin, and edm. Their songs are mainly in korean with some english mixed in. They also do songs in Japanese and they released their first ever all english song called Dynamite in August. RM is the only member of BTS that can speak english fluently, but the other members are always learning more english as time goes on. Dynamite became their first number 1 song on the billboard hot 100 and their remix of Jason Derulo's and Jawsh685's Savage Love also reached number 1 on the chart. Making BTS only the 5th group ever to have the number 1 and number 2 spot on the billboard hot 100 at the same time. They are also only the 3rd group ever to have their song debut at number 1 on the chart. Dynamite also broke the record of the most viewed video in 24 hours on youtube with 101.1 million views. They have also had 4 number 1 albums in the US (3 in less than a year). BTS still get a lot of hate for no good reason. People will call them "gay" or girls just because they wear makeup. When in reality everyone in the entertainment business does. Some people will also assume people more specifically young girls only like them because of their looks because you can't understand what they are saying if you don't speak korean. All their music videos have english subtitles if you turn them on. Some of their music videos since 2015 follow a fictional storyline called the BU (Bangtan Universe). I always say to people if BTS music is not your thing it's totally cool (that is if you've actually tried to listen to numerous songs), but I really don't understand how people discredit them as talented artists and hate them as people. If you want to get know them individually people often watch the video Who is BTS? the 7 members of bangtan by sugar and spice. The video is from 2018, but it helps to get to know the members a little more. Also BTS are releasing a new album called BE on November 20th and their new song Life Goes On will be released on the same day. Suga one of the members of BTS recently had shoulder surgery, so he won't be able to promote fully with the group until he recovers but we're trying to stay positive and supportive. Thanks for reacting.

Wow that's amazing!! There's so much I still need to learn but they really seem like some genuine people I love how they challenge so many norms of the music industry and society in general! I can't believe they've gotten any hate, but I know they'll continue to grow because they seem to truly love each other and their fans!
Omg thanks for saying this cuz am new to kpop n I want to know bout them more cuz b4 I hated them idk why but ur right ppl have to listen to their songs first cuz now my life changed cuz of them theirs songs hit diff🥺🤝
"ON Kinetic Manifesto" would be a great start. Generally, people will often suggest you very story-heavy songs/MV's. "ON Kinetic Manifesto" is the best first watch/listen in my opinion, because it showcases everything : their singing, rapping and dancing, without leaving you confused about the story. Then something like "Fake Love" (MV story-heavy, but the song/choreography definitely one of the best and a must watch/listen), "DNA" (most viewed from them), or "Not Today". They have a lot, A LOT of songs, covering a lot of different genres, so it'll take a very long time to discover everything, but don't worry. Fans will help :) Don't forget to film the reactions though ! And a very important thing : put the subtitles (CC) on ! They have them on every MV, some old solo songs are exceptions, but that's not a problem, everything is translated on the internet. If you'll feel overwhelmed, just watch the MV twice : once with lyrics and once without, if the video will be a few minutes longer, it's not a problem. We will watch it anyway, it'll be even better, because their lyrics are great.
it was really refreshing to see such a welcoming reaction to BTS, i'm glad i stumbled upon your video! also sorry in advance, because ARMYs can get pretty overwhelming, especially when we can see the person is genuinely interested, haha it's hard to suggest only a few songs without knowing your tastes, but i would recommend black swan, on, epilogue: young forever; for some tracks without official mvs: paradise, anpanman, home, am i wrong, 134340, rain ah and one last thing, it would be great if you could look up the lyrics for any song you end up reacting to, because they're really poetic and just filled with meaning hope you enjoy the journey!
4 роки тому+136
Thank you for watching and the recommendations!! ❤️❤️ Haha I can't wait to dive in to their music, they really have something for everyone's music taste!!
@ For future reference: Most of their official videos have translations from the CC button, but if it isn't from their official channel or says that the captions are automatic then they don't work. I hope this helps you for later since there are plenty reactors that get frustrated by the captions, knowing this will help with any confusion about the translations. If it doesn't have captions you can look up a version "with english subtitles" on youtube or just google it in order to find it😘
I think a lot of people had a thing for Jungkook before even BTS. I am the exact same since I knew Jungkook before BTS hahahah not surprised at all you know him he is everywhere
My bias is Jk but it's because of Tae I got into bts, my friend love's bts and her bias is Tae. I wasn't into bts really but she convinced me anyway. She's crazy over him( she still has a lot of love for the other members) so I watched a lot of things related to him but later I started watching bts fully and Jk became my bias ( also love for the other members)
@@charmainemeyer9619 That´s a fun story too hahaha. I saw jk´s name everywhere and I knew about him but I didnt know he was in bts afterwards I found out and it was an eye opener
I am 64 I call myself an accidental army. When Covid lockdowns started I started to watch Kdramas on recommendations of friends and relatives. One of the Kdramas that moved me so much was titled “Always “. I then learned that this drama was going to be remade in Japan and that the original theme tune was called “Your Eyes Tell” by this Korean group called BTS. Being a great admirer of this drama I searched the song on UA-cam and I was mind-blown by the beauty and power of the song and the voices and performance. (I saw the live version that appeared on Japanese tv). I was hooked. I researched and googled and talked to whoever would listen about this song until a cousin told me that her daughter is a fan and that they were called Army . My niece then guide me through the labyrinth of my love for BTS, first making me watch a series of videos: Burn the Stage, then Bring the Soul and finally Break the Silence... and there was no looking back. I knew this was different. Even more than the songs, their narrative drew me to them even more. That have not disappointed , as artists, as children of their generation and as human beings. They seem to want to show the world how to live. And how to be happy despite all that life throws at us. They are beautiful human beings who I think offer hope and make us believe in humanity again. And I am so glad so many young people have found them. It gives me hope for the world my generation will leave to our children and grandchildren.
Beautifully said. I really have hope that with BTS as the upcoming generations’ role model, the world will become a more accepting, peaceful, and loving place.
I’m 36 and discovered them 4 years ago and have been in love with them ever since! Since then I fell in love with all sorts of other Korean artists and Korean dramas and movies! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
hi i am a 54 year old ARMY Grandmother, i love them they are so talented and humble , ty for the amazing reaction , Black Swan and Blood sweat and tears , louder then Bombs
My daughter introduced me to them 3 1/2 yrs ago. I am now 42. I have been ARMY ever since and have never regretted a single day. Every ARMY I have spoken with around the world have told me that we find BTS and ARMY (or they find us) when we need them the most. I have lost my nursing job due to disability and am awaiting my 9th brain surgery, my husband has early onset dementia, and now my autistic 27yr old has to take care of both of her parents. My depression was starting to get a little deep until she introduced me to BTS. Then I met ARMYS and I was hooked. My days are brighter with the help of their music, and I am able to work as a team with my daughter to care for my husband. Which is better than her doing it by herself. I can't imagine where I would be without BTS and ARMYS. You asked how to join ARMY well first learn who is who. Their hair changes all the time so To help you remember the members of BTS look at the colors of the mike. JIMIN: Gold (lightest complexion of group and smallest, contemporary dancer, high voice with a slight cry at the end.) RM: Light Blue or Silver (has sleepy eyes) JIN: Pink has changed White 10/2020 (has full heart shaped lips) TAE/V: Green (deep voice square smile) JEON JUNGKOOK (JK): Multi Pink/Blue=Purple 😘💜(tattoos on hand, main singer) SUGA: Black (aka AgustD, main rapper) J-HOPE: Red (rapper and singer, dance leader of group, has longer face) Hope this helps. Oh by the way their in-ears usually matches their mikes too😉💜 I would also learn the ARMY fan chant. Kim Namjoon (team leader RM), Kim Seokjin (Jin-the oldest), Min Yoongi (Suga), Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), Park Jimin (Jimin), Kim Taehyung (V), Jeon Jeongguk (JK-the "golden maknae") maknae means youngest and RM gave JK this Nickname in the beginning 😉 You will discover as you go along. Welcome . If you have questions always ask and ARMY will answer. The Purple Hearts 💜 are our symbol. It stands for longstanding love, loyalty and respect of each other. Again welcome let us know if you have any questions and enjoy your journey.
Us ARMY's roll deep!🤣 I'm 37 and LOVE BTS!! They truly are genuine loving considerate talented individuals!! Once you know more about them and listen to their music you will see there's nothing these 7men can't do!! Have fun down the BTS rabbit hole!! 💜😁

I’m 38 with 2 children from 🇬🇧 UK... I found out about BTS 2019 and now I cannot live without seeing their faces/news/music videos/live videos. Especially during pandemic and working in Medical field I needed a healer for myself as I used to get low and break down quietly myself without my family knowing. BTS were my magical healers. When I listen to them, when I see their music videos, it makes forget all sorrows. So, welcome to you in the BTS fan club...they are phenomenal... I always wish for good health of them....
jungkook’s my bias too haha he’s the main vocalist and literally can do anything you can think of!! you should listen to euphoria which is my favorite solo song by jungkook and you should also listen to Pied Piper which is my favorite bts song at the moment but it changes like everyday lol
I am already fed up with the ones that have Jungkook bias, you are only in charge of promoting Jungkook alone, that's why those who are just getting to know BTS choose him from bias, you only ask for reactions from him and youtubers only ask them to make reactions to Jungkook, well I will no longer give my support to Jungkook and I will be just as selfish as you
@@sarajhopeworldbts4256 says the one who has “jhopeworld” as their name lol i’m not trying to be rude but i’m allowed to have a bias just like you are it doesn’t mean I ONLY like jungkook I love all of them but everyone has their bias so I don’t see an issue. also I only mentioned the fact that he’s my bias because obviously, jungkook’s her favorite as well so I thought i’d just mention it and give her a couple song recommendations. how is that selfish? okay I don’t want to be rude, but i’m genuinely curious I don’t really understand what you’re saying i’m sorry. maybe you miss interpreted what I said i’m not sure.

"BTS Hardships" by xCeleste. "BTS' Contribution to music" by xCeleste. If you want to know about each member individually then you can react to "Who is BTS: The seven members of Bangtan" by suga&spice. It's from 2018, so outdated but still one of the best introduction videos. For music I recommend you to start with BTS - "Black swan" MV; BTS - "On. Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima" (they won "best pop" and "best choreography" for this song at VMAs); BTS - "Mic drop" MV. Their official MVs have CC in english, so you can turn them on to understand what they are saying.
@ To join the A.R.M.Y. get their membership on Weverse.com it also helps for you to get concert tickets when COVID-19 is over. They donated to Black Lives Matter because their early music and hip-hop music is very based in Black American culture.
Ok I really wanna show my appreciation for Bang Shi Hyuk. This man is literally their father. He taught them so much, he encouraged them a lot to be who they are now. He taught them how to figure out solutions and face struggles together, he helped them get closer to each other. That’s literally a hhhuuuge example of a father, I literally cannot explain how much I love this man for it🥺💜💜

Now you've seen just a peek as to why we love our dudes so much, that's why we go so hard for them. So many Americans don't take the time to look into them, they just speak negatively; going by words of others or mean twitts, this includes my family...Im a blk 41 y/o woman with a Hispanic hubby and 2 teens. They were all against me vibing with BTS due to negative untrue stereotype info, but now everyone has some BTS on their playlists. They're not army yet but they're getting there. They all like them now and BTS music selections are so huge, everyone can always find their style of music to vibe to. Ive listened to kpop, kr&b, and more for a while but I finally took time late 2019 to look into them and hate I waited so long. Thanks so much for doing this video....here's some of our favorites, my family loves rap so: Home, Black Swan, Pied Piper, Cypher 3, Cypher 4, UGH, Bulletproof ², Bulletproof the eternal, boy with luv, Dna, Go Go, Best of me, butterfly, spring day, come back home
I’m a 69 year old grandma US Army as of a few months ago. I felt the same way when I was 12 years old hearing the Beatles for the first time. We had recently lost President John F Kennedy and they brought love, happiness, truth and hope to the American youth and eventually the world. They were only together 7-8 years but oh, the music they left us and it still rings true today! BTS has the potential to be another great influential band. I love their positive, personal and truthful message, they’re hard working yet have fun. They love their families, their country, their fans and the world. They give back to local and international charitable causes as individuals and as a whole. Giving to their communities, Black Lives Matter, partnering with UNICEF with the Love Myself, a two-year, anti-violence, campaign aimed at the protection of young people so they can live without the fear of violence. I’m sorry this is long but there’s so much to say about these young lads from South Korea! Not only are they compassionate and respectful people but oh my, they’re terrific dancers, rappers and singers! They’re bringing joy and sunshine, pain and sadness; light and shadow in these trying times. Making us feel, think and look inward at ourselves. I hope and pray for the best for our world and BTS! And in the words of member V; let’s purple (love and trust) each other for a long time! They have such a large catalog of music. The first song I liked is Dope, then No More Dream, Boy in Luv, Epiphany, Euphoria, Singularity, Mic Drop, Fake Love, Idol, DNA. I could go on, but that should suffice for now, lol. Have fun discovering BTS!
i loved your reaction! you seem really nice :) jungkook is my fave too, you’ve got good taste 👀 I can’t wait to see more bts reactions on your channel 💜
BTS are the most humble, authentic, down to earth, and genuine artists I have ever seen. I have quite literally only ever been a major fan of most Western artists, but this year I was introduced to BTS and it changed my whole life and my perspective of things for the better. When fans say that BTS changed their life, they are not lying or over-exaggerating.
when i first fell down into this rabbit hole of bts, somebody said that we always found bts at the time we needed them the most. i've never realized that until i look back on those days when i was sad and angry and ended up watching bts compilation videos on youtube that my friend sent me. i've been an army for 3 years now, and as much as i regret not getting to know them earlier, im glad that i found them at the exact right time. so, if you feel like you shouldve gotten to know them earlier, remember that you did not fell into the rabbit hole, but the rabbit whole found u and swallow you whole 😉 thanks for the video btw, love your reaction!
I'll Hope u'll do more reactions to BTS my top favorite song it's kinda one of the underrated songs and it has no music video it's just a lyrics video it's called : love myself answer +girl u r so beautifull u look like a doll in that yellow top.

@ sweet. Looking forward to them. Army loves lyric video, MV than live and dance practice. We are ok with long videos. So you can do 2 or more vids in one reactions. =0)
Its so refreshing to see such a positive reaction to BTS, and I'm so glad you're interested! ARMY can be a little overwhelming at times, and I do want to warn you that there are quite a few bad apples, but that naturally comes with the huge size the fan base has grown to. Some songs I'd recommend is Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix), HOME, Serendipity, The Truth Untold, Idol, Moon, Danger, Black Swan, Euphoria, ON, Boy With Luv, Dynamite, Boy In Luv, and N.O to get a taste of the different music genres they offer. I hope you continue your interest and love for BTS! 💜
But wait, why do I see Beyonce when you looked down to your laptop hahaha beautiful! Thank you for your honest reaction!!! Their musics are great and powerful.. and yes you're right. They ARE great people!
I recently got into BTS and I am so obsessed with them now. I love them on so many levels. They have really helped me deal with some stuff going on in my life and brought some light into a dark time I'm going through right now. It was so great watching your video and seeing how authentic they are and how they come across.
Hi, some things about this boys. *Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. Kpop ist a genre and bts are know for their great repertoire of genres. Kpop is an industry in Korea, and not all singers/rappers/musicians in Korea are "kpop" 1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers 2. Bts compose and produce in all their albums, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc 3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Murray. 4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble. 5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song or Activate cc. **Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals.
I’ve been listening to BTS since I was 13 and I’m now 19 and about to turn 20 in a month. I’m still army and they are still my favorite artist to date. They got me through my depression and their lyrics bring me great comfort whenever I’m in need. They’ve gotten me through bad friendships, breakups, deaths, high school, the time I ran away from home, and they’ve been there for me when my emotionally abusive family wasn’t. I grew up with them during the most important growing years of my life and their presence influenced me greatly. They will never know who I am and yet they’ve done so much for me, and that’s exactly why I will die an ARMY. I will love them after they’ve retired and had their own families. I will love them when they grow old and die and I will love them until I die. Their new album just came out today too and it’s about life in quarantine and how we’ve gotta keep hope and move on because life goes on with or without you
Bts first catch my attention by their music and lyrics and ofc their big message in every song. Then I recognized their personalities, how they kind, generous, pure and super humble humans. They all are different but the way how they complement each other, it's just incredible. Teamwork makes the dream work. Thank you sm, you are so beautiful
I really like your honesty, u seem sincere. The first performance to really get a personal and hear there voices is the Tiny desk concert. Its the most personal way to get to hear and see there talent live. many reactors have said its such a personal concert to get to seee there personalities as well as vocals. just my suggestion.
I’m 52 and found them in 2016. Covid-19 kept me from attending my first BTS concert back in May which was “postponed”. It was to be held at LA’s Rosebowl. Jin is going off to the military soon and I may never get to see them live.🥺 Here’s praying. They got me through chemo and some rough times. I am OT7 which means I don’t have one specific bias. I love them ALL.
watching this makes me cry and miss bangtan even more, I know they'll be having a comeback 11 days from now but I miss them so much, and I'm so worried about Yoongi's surgery as well :( our precious boys always works so hard.
Girl!!! We need to see you react to their songs! We need to be part of your journey to becoming an ARMY. I get what you mean! I'm a noob ARMY since Dynamite, but it's been the best decision ever, their lyrics have helped me through real tough times since. Just seeing their pictures are enough to put a smile on my face now. You will not regret it at all! Army is the most supportive community to ever exist.
Well written. I am new Army since Map of the Soul 7 (though I had heard a few songs before that). Yes! Best decision, they are there for us in time of need.
@@jesshorton well, you will not go out of the rabbit hole Jess. I discovered BTS in 2018 and Since that day I am connected to them everyday by their music, videos, youtube reactors, etc. 😜

First of all I wanna tell you...... Ofcourse you can join army just by loving them.... They are using their platform for helping us in every way they can, They are one and only.... And you are definitely right about that they genuinely care about their Army.... Army is amazing but just because they are amazing and they are giving us more than that.... I'm 41 and I was introduced to BTS by my 15 and 14 year old daughters. I was so skeptical at first but watching what they stand for and their United Nation speech won me over. I am ARMY!
Your reaction got me feeling emotional too. :') reminds me of the first time I actually got to know them beyond their music. New quarantine ARMY since March and I am still not out of the rabbit hole yet 😂 enjoy your dive in! 💜 Welcome, ARMY!
Girl I watched their carpool karaoke video in February and fell in love instantly. I mostly listen to hip hop so I didn’t know if I’d like their music but they have so many hip hop/ r&b influences, especially the rap line (I love their mixtapes). Found them at a time when I was depressed and I always watch their videos when I am sad.💜
I recommend you the song love myself, magic shop, life goes on, so what. yeah that's all and of course you are welcome in the fam / fandom (army), anyone is welcome in the fandom, I purple you! stay safe
Hey Girl Hey, welcome, I'm about 3 month ahead of you. I knew them but didn't take the time. Now I'm an ARMY member. My hubby rolls his eyes because he just don't know. Enjoy the songs they are earworms and will stay with you a long time. These young men are blessing the Earth.
I am 46 and found BTS in 2017 and they inspire me everyday. I love that their songs are deep and meaningful and not just superficial. So many literary and art references amd influences. They are truly humble, talented and amazingly kind. A real treasure in this chaotic world.
Absolutely love your reaction! So sincere and I can feel the respect and focus you put in reacting to the vids, can’t wait to see your trip down the BTS rabbit hole!
Im 39, mother of 2 and a divorcee recently. I found BTS in 2019. their songs helped me heal and make me learn to love myself throughout the period. the messages in every songs i love so much that helps me move on and be stronger.
OMG!!! I just found out about them like over a week ago! I felt like I was living under a rock and I mean very deep under a rock) Their songs have been on repeat and I fell in love with them. I am 40 and yes I love them...just positive, talented, kind, authentic, beautiful men and I love their message.
I am one of what they call old armies coz I started stanning them after their debut (roughly around 2014). I've seen them work hard and inspire people with their music. And I am really proud of what they reached today, they deserve it! I am happy too that this fandom keeps on growing and growing. Stay gold amiiiii💜
Here's a list of few songs you may want to react to first before diving into their recent ones: No More Dream, and N.O. - These two songs are one of their debut songs. They tackle issues such as the education system and the need for socioeconomic reform. Remember to turn on captions, and read the lyrics. Dope - It is a song that I believe really contributed to their first major award. The iconic line at the beginning of the song will signify your first time with BTS. It is also known for its catchy beat and difficult choreo. Fire, and DNA - 2017 songs, if I remember correctly? I believe these two songs helped pave the way to the international stage. IDOL - I love this song. I believe it is BTS' way of criticizing their critics, such as those who stereotype KPOP idols. Of course, there are lots of amazing BTS songs, like their solos and recent ones. But these songs are based solely on my opinion. I hope you really have fun reacting to BTS. Stay safe!
I’m a 65 yo grandmother - my granddaughter introduced me to BTS when she asked me to buy her their 2014 Memories DVD in 2015 - at first I liked their dancing , rapping and music style. It was like finding treasure. Every time they drop an album - it was such a delight. Watching them grow into fine young men has been a joy over the years. I’ll forever follow them. I’m a person that loves to laugh - another gift from them is the “Run BTS” episodes. I hope you continue your BTS journey - so I decided to subscribe to watch it.
Aww i loved your reaction so much! These guys truly are the sweetest most humble people. I've been a fan since 2018 and its one of the best decisions I've made. So when a member sticks out to you more/you feel more connected to them its called a "bias" so it seems yours would be Jungkook and maybe also RM since you loved his speech 😊 I've seen others give really good recommendations so I cant wait to see you react to more!
Hi..! I'm 52, love them so much, of course first because of their music. And after know their personalities, I deeply in love with them, together with my daughter. You nice, I hope you'll keep react to more BTS'songs.
I am always so happy to see people getting interested and if not interested then a little more educated on bts. I've been a kpop fan for over 8 years now but have only become a fan of bts in 2016. They say you find bts when you need them most and that's true. There are a lot of layers and misconceptions about this industry and many times it can feel overwhelming but as long as it gives you joy then none of them matter. People wonder why we are so passionate and protective of them but they are truly our safe space and the reason why we've overcome a lot as people and grown and met friends and loved ones. It's one thing to find music and artists that inspire you but it's another thing to find music and artists that make you want to be a better person. Welcome to the family! I hope you enjoy it here!
I always recommend Spring Day (please listen with captions! Their lyrics are the best part), and then reacting to the Spring Day mv sewol ferry explanation
i heard of them and kinda knew them but never listened nor checked them out until i had covid last August and was confined in the ICU for 16 days, 5 days of which were spent in a ventilator. when i survived, i had a nurse who stayed inside my room for 12 hours taking care of me and she used to spend her shift watching BTS, it's her way of trying to survive as well knowing that one mistake could transfer the virus to her too. when i was able to speak, the first thing i did was ask her to share with me whatever she is watching so i can enjoy it with her somehow. so we watched In the Soop episodes and then she introduced me to them through videos and stuff. now that that time in my life has passed, i can honestly say that BTS made my suffering a whole lot easier. im now a full blown army with merch bought and worn and im still friends with the nurse who introduced me to them. im 57 by the way.
Hi ! I really loved your reaction. I see you already have a lot of music and videos suggestions from Armys! I hope you'll keep reacting to them :) Anyway, you nice, keep going!
I'm 38 & I heard BTS & the ARMY donated a million to BLM so I looked them up... for the past 2 weeks they've been in heavy rotation on my playlist(I'm tryingto catch up!)... 2020 was so hard for me mentally. I know God put BTS on my radar for a reason. I feel like a giddy girl all over again with the help of their music. Shoutout to the ARMY! 💋
So glad you liked them! They truly are amazing performers and amazing ppl. You can totally join Army right away! All you gotta do is love and stan them just like you did in this video! Standing bts really was a great decision in my life

The song is best explained here: ua-cam.com/video/RP4Qbh2rXFU/v-deo.html

Ok fine.... I will share RM🤣🤣🤣
From what you have shared: Jungkook is your “bias” and RM is your “bias wrecker”...(I explain it below).
For now you should learn the following:
A bias= is the member you like the most
An Ultimate Bias= The member who ultimately grabs your attention the most from all the others
A Bias Wrecker = The member who demands your attention away from your bias
I know of Army's who have a Double Bias/ Double Wrecker etc.....
(Also Rosan aka "XCeleste" said that BTS debut on 6/12/2013.... ARMY and BTS celebrate it on 6/13/2013 as the official debut date...And you will notice "6132013" throughout their videos especially on cars as a license plate number (pretty cool, right!!?!!!)
(One more thing in Korea the last name is listed first so for example, Kim Namjoon in America would be written Namjoon Kim).
@@carlagirl7 I love the phrase that RM is Namjooing. It fits him so well. =0)
@@marinal. Yep!....And like Beyoncé got “Bootylicious” in the dictionary.... Army needs to get “Namjooning” an entry in the dictionary as well!💜

•Start off with On Kinetic Manifesto Film because I believe it’s one of their most recent songs that represents BTS the best
•My favorite song by them is Louder Than Bombs
•Ugh! by BTS’ rapline is straight fire
•House of Cards by BTS’ vocal line is also good. I would recommend The Truth Untold, but V doesn’t have many lines in it.
•RM’s solo song Persona
•Suga’s solo song Shadow
•J-Hope’s solo song Boy Meets Evil
•Jungkook’s solo song My Time
•Jimin’s solo song Lie
•V’s solo song Singularity
•Jin’s solo song Epiphany

Loved your reaction. BTS connects on a deep & emotional level with people because they're so genuine & caring.
Jungkook is
My bias too, hi's more talented and vocalist, best dancer, writer, producer,
Just some more information on BTS.
@ yes, well the dark always wants to negate the light. And BTS are a huge healing light right now.
Wow ~~~ 😍
On is the best mv I’ve ever seen the manifesto one it’s amazing 💜
it was really refreshing to see such a welcoming reaction to BTS, i'm glad i stumbled upon your video!

it's hard to suggest only a few songs without knowing your tastes, but i would recommend black swan, on, epilogue: young forever; for some tracks without official mvs: paradise, anpanman, home, am i wrong, 134340, rain
ah and one last thing, it would be great if you could look up the lyrics for any song you end up reacting to, because they're really poetic and just filled with meaning
hope you enjoy the journey!
If it doesn't have captions you can look up a version "with english subtitles" on youtube or just google it in order to find it😘
ngl im kinda excited now sksksk idk She seems to be *genuinely* interested...it's really hard to find honest reactors these days😔💜🐱🌑
@ for Home they did a live on Jimmy Fallon and that can be like an MV for the song. It sadly does not have a real MV.
I actually love all tbe info as a babyarmy 💜
I think a lot of people had a thing for Jungkook before even BTS. I am the exact same since I knew Jungkook before BTS hahahah not surprised at all you know him he is everywhere
My bias is Jk but it's because of Tae I got into bts, my friend love's bts and her bias is Tae. I wasn't into bts really but she convinced me anyway. She's crazy over him( she still has a lot of love for the other members) so I watched a lot of things related to him but later I started watching bts fully and Jk became my bias ( also love for the other members)

Kamsamida (thank you) BTS
Their hair changes all the time so
To help you remember the members of BTS look at the colors of the mike.
JIMIN: Gold (lightest complexion of group and smallest, contemporary dancer, high voice with a slight cry at the end.)
RM: Light Blue or Silver (has sleepy eyes)
JIN: Pink has changed White 10/2020 (has full heart shaped lips)
TAE/V: Green (deep voice square smile)
JEON JUNGKOOK (JK): Multi Pink/Blue=Purple 😘💜(tattoos on hand, main singer)
SUGA: Black (aka AgustD, main rapper)
J-HOPE: Red (rapper and singer, dance leader of group, has longer face)
Hope this helps. Oh by the way their in-ears usually matches their mikes too😉💜
I would also learn the ARMY fan chant.
Kim Namjoon (team leader RM),
Kim Seokjin (Jin-the oldest),
Min Yoongi (Suga),
Jung Hoseok (J-Hope),
Park Jimin (Jimin),
Kim Taehyung (V),
Jeon Jeongguk (JK-the "golden maknae") maknae means youngest and RM gave JK this Nickname in the beginning 😉 You will discover as you go along. Welcome . If you have questions always ask and ARMY will answer.

BTS - "Black swan" MV;
BTS - "On. Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima" (they won "best pop" and "best choreography" for this song at VMAs);
BTS - "Mic drop" MV.
Their official MVs have CC in english, so you can turn them on to understand what they are saying.

When you find out their song and the meaning behind, the more you love them.
Thanks so much for doing this video....here's some of our favorites, my family loves rap so:
Home, Black Swan, Pied Piper, Cypher 3, Cypher 4, UGH, Bulletproof ², Bulletproof the eternal, boy with luv, Dna, Go Go, Best of me, butterfly, spring day, come back home
Have fun discovering BTS!
i loved your reaction! you seem really nice :) jungkook is my fave too, you’ve got good taste 👀
I can’t wait to see more bts reactions on your channel 💜
You're not alone. It was just last month when I fell in love with these guys. And definitely, you can be an ARMY. All the best!

Kpop is an industry in Korea, and not all singers/rappers/musicians in Korea are "kpop"
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce in all their albums, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
As a recommendation, I would watch "On Kinetic Manifesto" first. It can really get you hooked up, and it is a great song and performance
Your hair is very beautiful. Thank you for reacting to them. Please do more BTS reaction videos
Their new album just came out today too and it’s about life in quarantine and how we’ve gotta keep hope and move on because life goes on with or without you
wow I couldn't stop watching you!!! you're so pretty
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️

I mostly listen to hip hop so I didn’t know if I’d like their music but they have so many hip hop/ r&b influences, especially the rap line (I love their mixtapes). Found them at a time when I was depressed and I always watch their videos when I am sad.💜

You’re so pretty and cute 🥺💜 I recommend you to start with their recent song DYNAMITE 🧨
OMG!!! I just found out about them like over a week ago! I felt like I was living under a rock and I mean very deep under a rock) Their songs have been on repeat and I fell in love with them. I am 40 and yes I love them...just positive, talented, kind, authentic, beautiful men and I love their message.
It's not a typical reaction like 'oh yeah cool' this really kept me going I did not got bored also you are so beautiful 🥰
I am one of what they call old armies coz I started stanning them after their debut (roughly around 2014). I've seen them work hard and inspire people with their music. And I am really proud of what they reached today, they deserve it! I am happy too that this fandom keeps on growing and growing. Stay gold amiiiii💜
Here's a list of few songs you may want to react to first before diving into their recent ones:
No More Dream, and N.O.

I know God put BTS on my radar for a reason. I feel like a giddy girl all over again with the help of their music. Shoutout to the ARMY! 💋
I’m First beautiful love this keep doing something Different love it 🌹🌹🌹

So glad you liked them! They truly are amazing performers and amazing ppl. You can totally join Army right away! All you gotta do is love and stan them just like you did in this video!

To know about each and every member can u react to..'who is bts? introduction to 7 member of bts' cuz It will help u to get to know and identify every member😊
Wow....your reaction was so genuine....I loved it...and thank you for showing you love for ARMY.....I hope you'll be a part of us soon...an another droplet that makes our ocean bigger....thank you...love love....💜🖤
if u want to know them individually, i suggest u watch “Who is BTS: The seven members of bangtan” 🥰
They are humble people.they are nice
React to who is BTS the 7 members of bangtan..!! That goes through each member 1 by 1 it’s a veryyyy helpful video..!!😭
Also important to note that that video is pretty old and not everything is up to date. It also includes some stereotypes. I recommend the video by OhJohnny "a helpful and fun guide to bts (2020)"
