RUMOR: DeMar DeRozan SIGN-AND-TRADE W/KINGS Is Happening within next 48 hours

- DeMar DeRozan apparently will be on the move within the next 24-48 hours to the Sacramento Kings for multiple players and draft picks.
DeRozan, who has been apart of the Chicago Bulls for the last 3 seasons, is a 2-time all-star, top-10 MVP finalist in 2021, and top-3 Clutch Player of the Year finalist.
DeRozan has been one of The Chicago Bulls best players during this time here, as Zach Lavine, Lonzo Ball, and others did not meet the expectations of their contracts and DeMar DeRozan did.
The Kings are favored to be the landing spot for Chicago as the teams are roughly 24-48 hours away from finalizing a deal. Very exciting news for both teams as one is going for a title and another is going through a young rebuild.

Okay you may get Huerter but there is a 0% chance you’re getting Huerter and Lyle’s. Lyle’s fits the kings system so well and he’s a big man which they’re sparse on. You’re at best getting Huerter and a couple seconds in my opinion.

No chance at getting picks, Chicago has no leverage. It will be only cap filler, and if they want more, gotta throw in T. Craig.
They have tons of leverage--they just say ok, well, we won't sign him then, and you can't get him if we don't sign him. He's not signing for the MLE, and seemingly no one in the league can take on a fair price for him w/o a trade. You don't understand much here.

Zach is a far superior player than DeMar and younger! DeMar is great
player but he's not a good fit.
I wouldn’t say Zach is a superior player I think at this point with our young core and Demar’s age that if we had to keep one, it might be better to keep Zach Levine, but to say he’s a far superior player is a big reach

He no longer fits with the Bulls plan of rebuilding. With the Josh Giddy trade, it seems like the Bulls are hoping to get younger players with higher ceilings. DeRozan, turning 35 at the start of the season, is too old for a young team. So it sounds like the Bulls are hoping to get some assets out of DeRozan in a trade with other teams. It's not about what DeRozan wants exactly, but what the FO of the Bulls hopes to get out of their players.
