Looks like the best way to have removed that headliner, was through the front windshield. Especially since it is cracked and will be coming out anyway.
@Raymond Hoover They never "Lose their Butt" the cars are just a prop for youtube dollars. It doesn't matter if you lose 10K on a car rebuild if it made you 75K in youtube dollars over a bunch of episodes. VTuned isn't here yet but he will be soon. The Goonzquad can lose all they want rebuilding Ferrari and lambos....they make PLENTY from youtube.
Vtune I had a 2014..I ended up hating it. It went thru 2 rear ends under warrantee. When the second one got installed I sold it. Looked great but a lot of mechanical problems. Had less then 50k miles on it. Good luck with it Vtune. I sold it and got a Raptor.
Please pay attention to the sound level. I really love vTuned garage but I am having a bit of a time hearing even at full volume. Thank you and keep the great great videos coming !!

I loved my CTS4. Let it go 2 months ago. =( One thing I recall all to well is how much you have to tear things out to get to anything. Was not an easy car for me with limited tools to work with. However, it was a wonderful car in performance and handling. Very comfortable. Always wanted to twin turbo it, or get the V. And looks like you got a really easy one to work on with fairly little damage. =)

Since I live in Pennsylvania, the government salts the roads. The salt is rusting out some basic metal parts on my 2016 Chevy Trax. When it warms up I want to wire brush the rust off and paint it. You got any recommendations for a primer to spray down first to stop the rust?

It would be very cool and matching that you change the headliner roof color to black since youre going to repair it so everything is dark inside there, or trying those rolls royce starlight headliners on ebay :p
I have a CTS 2011. I don't like that its to low and when you hit a bump it feels like if I hit the curb.and nooo I did not hit the curb .there are pot holes everywhere here in Chicago except in downtown. And the city crews take months to patch them up. Has any of you know if is it possible to raise the car so it won't be to low and are there some heavy duty aftermarket shocks that I can have to replace the original ones. I had a 1991 Cadillac Seville in the early 2000 and the ride was more smoother that this CTS.
Gotta light it up for a little more than an afterthought man. That's critical for the subscribers. We haven't even seen the hellcat go yet. I saw you guys driving more in G squads GTR
Maybe that PO should have spent his money on high performance driving lessons instead. High school driver's education teaches you how to pass the DMV driver's exam, not how to drive. Places like Bob Bondurant will teach high performance driving for about the same money as those engine mods. Good luck on the build!
what is pretty cheap? from my experience, airbags isnt cheap. probably why people from the east comes over here to sweden and steals airbags, navigators etc. and it looks like the left exhaust pipe is sticking out more than the right one?`or is it just me?
I have a 2011 CTS-V perfect condition Maybe 45k miles original garaged every winter so it’s never seen snow ice salt sand salt mix so it’s perfect interior is so perfect ...,wanted to buy it I’m in Portland Maine let me know I have had many dealerships ask to negotiate a price for it or a trade

FYI, that green belt indicates that the supercharger pulley/pullies have probably been changed also. Take a look at the lower and upper pulley.

This is one of the easiest cars I’ve ever worked on parts are pricey but I had a blast working on mine

It was actually the back housing of the transmission I just replaced it really cheap

Spray fluid film it stinks but does the job .buy it on amazon
Please disconnect the battery so the door ajar binging can stop.
They had to have it connected to maneuver the seats around to get the headliner out.

Don't be afraid to hold the camera a little further away from the parts and a be little more steady!
Factory exhaust manifolds work best with a Supercharged motor that's why they design them that way

After a crash do the seat belts get destroyed? What does the control module do and why does it need to be reset?
NC Vman seatbelts lock up and Control module stores crash data.
