Love Malaysia, left in 2020 but spent a good 4 years based there. Make sure to give Hong Kong a visit too, I'm sure you'll love it! The COVID restrictions are still somewhat there, but it's a million times less strict than China's COVID policies.
The same thing like Indonesia, still with strict vaxx restrictions, that's why foreigners are avoiding these countries

Great video. Are they strict with the 23kg baggage allowance for checked. Will they let you get away with 2-3kg over.
